Comfortable bed, plugs and light for every bed, super cheap breakfast (1 pound), friendly staff and good location. But, cold bathrooms and not enough showers, the window of our rooms didn't close (so cold and noise) and poor security regarding luggage storage. Great for a weekend.

Thanks Carol! Great you limed the bed and enjoyed the cheap breakfast :-) The windows should be closing, I will let maintenance check this! We have CCTV in our luggage room, but always recommend guests to leave valuable things in a separate locker in the reception area. Hope to see you back again when you're in London! Kind regards, Laura,...

I stayed in 18 bed dorm one night, and other night at 10 bed dorm. I liked the 18 room and the way beds were arranged together, there was just one thing: there is a big window above beds that lets too much light get through, also during night. The 10 bed room was nice, everything was clean and there...

We stayed at Clink 261 during our visit in London. Finding it from Kings Cross Station was super easy (coming from someone who doesn't live in a big city) so this was super nice. It's in a very convienent location and has lots of stores nearby for food. We went to Clink 78 our first night as they have a...

Hi, Thanks for your feedback! So sorry to hear you were disappointed! We sum up our facilities on our website clearly and have pictures on our website as well. So I'm surprised you didn't know we don't have a bar in this hostel and no individual curtains at the beds. Most guests choose this hostel for the coziness and with...

£14 for two nights in central London. Can't beat that with a big stick. Walking distance from King's Cross, St. Pancras and Euston stations, plenty of food options within walking distance and a stone's throw from major tourist locations. Staff were helpful and friendly, can't imagine them being rude as others have said. Anyway, cheers Clink 261 - hopefully see...

This was the worst hostel I've ever been. The people were unfriendly, the showers smelled like pee and when I asked for a hot chocolate, I received hot water. There were even ants in my coffee... It was disgusted! The showers weren't clean at all: in the showers laid a lot of hair: if I would collect all the hairs...

Hi Lucas, Thanks for your feedback! So sorry about that! We clean the kitchen and bathrooms several times a day so I'm quite shocked this happened to you! It's indeed unacceptable to have ants in your mug! I will forward this to our housekeeping manager and we will make sure to bring it up to standard! Kind regards, Laura, Guest...

This was my second time stay in clink261 (and third time if I count my one time stay in clink78). The location can't be better, with less than 5 mins walking from King's Cross station. The hostel is reasonably clean, with comfortable beds. Breakfast is free (or was till then) and with decent options. The staff are friendly. Wi-Fi can...

I stayed here on two separate occasions for one night each. Staff were pleasant and had no troubles checking in. The free luggage room was very helpful. I stayed in a 10 person and 18 person room - both were clean and everyone was respectful of those sleeping. The continental breakfast was good considering I only paid 16 pounds/night. Check...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
