I stayed at the Harlingford for 2 separate nights 21st and 27th December, 2015, to and from St, Pancras, The hotel is immaculate as are the bedrooms and bathroom both are very well appointed with everything you could wish for comfort. An excellent breakfast and very friendly staff made for a perfect start and finish to my holiday. As a... More

Great location, great staff, cozy and more than satisfactory. Very good breakfast :) It sure is a lovely place to stay. We have stayed there many times and it still is our first choice when traveling to London. It is near many bus stops, train and tube stations. There are shops, restaurants and coffee shops nearby. You get to the... More

I booked the last room available - a double. The hotel people emailed me to warn me it was in the basement, and offered a small reduction. In fact I could hardly fault the room - there was some rumble from the underground trains early in the morning but not enough to stop me getting back to sleep. The breakfast... More

This was a last minute booking, and was the only suitable for location and in my budget that I could find. This was not normally the type of hotel I would book as I would usually look at bigger hotel companies. Easy to get too from, st pancreas station only 10 minutes walk.the location is perfect for the Brittish museum,... More

Let me start by saying this is not the place for you if you intend to stay in your room all day; on the other hand if you do plan on exploring the city or being away most day this is a great hotel. Located close to Kings Cross its a dream in terms of transport, a short walk will... More

Our Harlingford Hotel experience can be summarised as below; We stayed at the Harlingford for four nights and had it not been for our busy sightseeing schedule, any additional time spent indoors (other than sleeping) would have proven to be quite challenging. Good Points * Good location * Excellent quality breakfast menu * Polite and always helpful dining room staff... More

We enjoyed staying at the Harlingford. It's very conveniently located, 10 minutes' walk from St. Pancrace, walking distance from the British Museum and close to many restaurants and cafés, but still quiet. No carpet in the rooms, unlike other hotels in the area. Good cooked breakfast to start the day. We loved the cat and the dog who live there... More

This hotel has become my go-to place in London now ... and I recommend it to other friends who travel to London. I have stayed here before several times now and will continue to come back. Certainly, one of the best things about it is the location ... close to the Russell Square tube station, and a 10-minute walk to... More

The Harlingford Hotel is located in an area known as Bloomsbury. I reserved a triple room (double bed/twin bed) for 2 people for 3 nights. If you are looking for a clean but cheap postage stamp room with an even tiny bathroom that is across the street from construction this hotel might work for you. Although the bathroom spelt of... We quite like feedback from all our guests though not always the ones on review sites as they are usually the subject of quite contrived 'grievances' But, in the interest of fairness, I shall like to address those complaints as clearly as possible. Yes there is a building being constructed across the park, it is UCL student accommodation and will... More

Lovely hotel - very good location. Supermarket, pubs, restaurants, tube stations, book shops in the neighbourhood. The breakfast was very good and the people who served it were very friendly. We had a room for 3 persons on the 3th floor. Big enough with a wardrobe, clean and very quiet. I would certainly book that hotel again. Even the layout... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
