For the 3rd time, we spent 3 nights in the Harlingford in July and each time we appreciated it. The staff is really friendly and although the rooms are rather small, they are quiet and have everything you need to have a good stay. The beds are very comfortable, toiletries are supplied in the bathroom, the shower is verey good,... More

We have stayed at the Harlingford many times over the years and found it really great: Good value, terrific breakfasts, clean rooms, friendly and good service and very convenient location for Bloomsbury attractions as well as Kings Cross/St Pancras stations. HOWEVER, on our last stay, in July 2016, we had cause to complain that the hotel dog barked a lot... More

We don't pretend to be the perfect hotel in central London, but what we are is honest, which is more than can be said for this review. True, these guests stayed here many times (we must have been doing something right) and, knowing the husbands infirmity, we always gave them the triple room on the ground floor for easy access... We took our granddaughter to London to see a play and stayed here one night. Modest quarters but clean and comfy. Breakfast was great! We were on the ground level so did not have to contend with the stairs. Staff was helpful and friendly.

I stayed here with my boyfriend in late July for a little impromptu trip to London. We picked this hotel through Bookings.com as it had a decent price, plus breakfast included. The hotel is in a really accessible part of London, just around the corner from two tube stations. The rooms were clean and tidy, with shower gel and towels... More

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in July 2016, it was an excellent experience, the owner was very friendly & helpful, even let my husband borrow a phone charger as he had forgotten his. Breakfast was extremely good with a lot of choices & the service was also very good. Would definitely stay there again.

I'll get the negative bits out of the way first. There is no lift, and the rooms are a bit cramped. That aside, this hotel has it all: an excellent location in central London right next to St Pancras International, clean rooms, helpful and courteous staff, a substantial breakfast (from full English to continental and everywhere in between) included in... Room clean. Bed a bit short but fine. WIFI fine. Shower took ages to warm up and not very strong flow. No muesli at breakfast just packets such as cornflakes allbran etc. Be warned though. My room was on third floor with five flights of stairs with no elevator and no offer of help wirh baggage. Also breakfast only starts... More

Just got back after spending a night at the Harlington, and I couldn't fault it . Close enough to King's Cross so as to enable a short walk to its potion in a lovely leafy little park area and a gorgeous Cresent of buildings mostly all hotels , we've stayed in a couple but this is the best. Friendly reception... More

My wife and I stopped in London for a four day break starting on 3/05/2016.The Harlingford Hotel was recommended by my daughter who had stopped there previously . We arrived at Kings Cross station and walked to the hotel which took us under 15 minutes. We were to early to book in so they offered to store our luggage while... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
