On arrival to this hotel first impressions were Wow, modern design with large floor to ceiling glass and bright coloured neon lights lighting the facades. The reception was bright and spacious to which check in was swift. We were allocated a room on the seventh floor of which was well equipped and had great skyline views of the city via...

Good location neat Tower Hill underground, good clean rooms, comfy bed, a proper bath and polite staff. We were able to leave a bag with the concierge after we'd checked out, and that was a huge benefit to our day's sight-seeing. Will definitely stay again - the best Indian restaurant in London is only 30 yards away too!

I read somewhere that this hotel is a 5 star, well it's not. I stayed for 3 nights recently and the only good part to my stay was the fact that concierge were able to provide me with a charger I forgot to pack. Reception took a while to check in as they couldn't understand billing instructions, we experienced the...

We stayed here three years ago, at the time we weren't overly enamoured with the hotel. But we liked the location at the time, so we decided to try again. Glad we did, again the hotel lived up to it's star rating as regards staff and cleanliness. Breakfast was a smorgasbord of choice. A great start to the day. Our...

We've stayed at this hotel twice now and both times the hotel has made our stay the most enjoyable. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern and we had lovely view of the shard and Tower Bridge both times that we stayed. It has a lovely spa area which you can enjoy complimentary and the breakfast has plenty of choice.

Good quality hotel for a weekend break in central London. It is very near Tower Bridge so a short stroll from the hotel takes you to a beautiful historic London landmark. If you don't want to have breakfast at the hotel Weatherspoon is just next to the hotel serving breakfast etc. There are also many eateries nearby along the river. The...

Stayed here on a corporate night. What a great place to find. Team we're so friendly and accommodating. Spa and pool really nice and the pool was open from 6am. Had dinner in the restaurant, well presented and very appetising. Had the asparagus with soft poached duck egg and pancetta, loved it. Just had a second starter as the main...

Second time staying here on business - still good. Rooms are clean albeit amenities could be lacking, have to call for dental kits and slippers for example. Staff is good too. Locate between Aldgate and Tower Hill metro stations so easy to get around. About 15 min walk to Shoreditch where you can find plenty of nice restaurants and boutiques.

I'm staying at the Grange Tower Bridge Hotel while traveling for business. I'm not familiar with the process for reviewing and awarding a hotel like this, its five stars, but clearly it doesn't take into account, the bedding Now granted, I'm having to double up rooms and so our room has, rather than one or two luxurious queen or king...

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighborhood Profile
Whitechapel
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
