The staff were very welcoming and more than happy to help. Our room was very pleasant but there was noise from the kitchen fans. If you live in the city this would be no big deal I suppose. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Hi Deborah, Thank you for your feed back. We are so glad to hear you had a good time with us at the Fox & Grapes. Apologies for the kitchen fans. We will take this on board and ensure they are switched off on a night so they don't disturb our guests. Look forward to having you at the pub... More

We stayed overnight at the Fox and Grapes after attending our Grandson's 4th birthday party elsewhere. As we had had a barbecue as part of his celebrations we didn't require an evening meal. We arrived at the Fox and Grapes around 7:30 pm looking forward to a relaxing evening with a glass of wine. We hadn't realised that the downstairs... More

Dear Jane, thank you for your review. As you can tell we are not the largest of hostelries, tucked just off the common. What we lack in size we look to make up in food, service and ambience. I have noted your comments regarding our continental offer and will be reviewing our guest breakfast offer shortly with the hope of... More

My husband & I recently returned from our first Wimbledon Tennis experience. We chose to stay within walking distance to the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet grounds. The Fox and Grapes ticked all the boxes we required. It was well within walking distance, the room was quaint, neat & clean. The food was incredibly good and the staff friendly... More

My wife and I stayed at the Fox and Grapes for the last week of Wimbledon and chose it due to trip advisor reviews especially about the food , they were not wrong . The chef takes personal pride in ensuring that all dishes from breakfast , lunch or dinners are all fresh and delicious . As we stayed for... More

Good food, great accommodation, very relaxing. We had a great weekend and enjoyed the overall service and food. A few minor points that could make the experience even better would be more coffee/tea facilities in our room, a more proactive service at breakfast like an offer of juice, tea, coffee toast ( we had quite different service depending on the... I have stayed here a few times, trying out 3 different rooms. The rooms are lovely, indeed. A few simple things that can be improved to merit the premium price: • The side entrance: unpleasant. Smoking by staff should not be allowed there, and the garbage can be stored in better ways. • Vacuum cleaning during breakfast should not happen.... More

We arrived late in the evening but were immediately greeted and shown to our room. Lovely modern accommodation. Breakfast was a lovely surprise with a picnic basket containing crockery, cutlery and cereal boxes. Orange juice and coffee served with fresh fruit, pastries and toast. Service was excellent throughout our stay. All in all a lovely overnight stay and we will... More

The room was lovely, clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable too. Enjoyed our continental breakfast. Staff were very helpful. Enjoyed our stay. Even though it was a busy pub you didnt hear the noise from your room. We walked from Wimbledon station across the Common, which didn't take too long and was very pleasant.

What a great little pub. The food is amazing and the beers cold and refreshing. The rooms are well appointed and clean, with enough space to spread out a little. The staff are great and friendly, the only let down is the lack of reserved parking. Some advice, either avoid arriving on glorious spring days (😉) or be prepared to... More
