There was not enough light in the bedroom and the bathroom was really small. On the other side, the guy at the reception was really nice and there was a free breakfeast! Also, the pub is well situate and safe. Thank you :)

With 9 people in one room with three three-bunk beds is really crowded and not much space. Sitting in bed upright is not possible. There are only two toilets and two showers for everyone, which were not enough in the morning. Location and Discount/free Breakfast in the Pub downstairs is good. Hostel was very clean.

Stayed there for four nights, we had a great time. The Hostel is very central, you can reach most of the sights by walking. Toiletts could have been more clean, but overall the pub downstairs was fantastic and the staff as well. Special greetings to the bartender Daniel ! Thanks for a great time in London!!

Was not bad, neither was good. The best thing is location, being at a walking distance from the Big Ben. The matress was pretty good. Triple trumble beds so getting to the top in the dark was kind of sketchy. The bad aspects of it were the toilets, with only 2 WC and only 2 showers (maybe because I went...

I#ve never been to a hostel like that, where the reception and the rest room for the guests coincidently is the bar/ a pub :D I liked this version. It was very easy to get talking to the hostel staff and other guests because of that! The breakfast was okay. Good enough to start the day :) Some of the...

I stayed in the steam engine for a few days, the staff there was really friendly, available and helpful. I also meet lots of travellers coming from different countries. The hostel is situated in a good location, around 15 min. by walk to the waterloo station and few turistic points ( like the London Eye).

This hostel was a great stay for us in London! Pros - The staff were AMAZING and very helpful towards anything we needed. - Great location! Was about a 15 minute cab ride from the train station; however only a 10 minute walk to the London Eye and central city! - Free breakfast in the mornings were good - It...
