We had a slow check in then everything improved. Great spacious room. Good club on Ground floor with drinks and a huge selection of food. Good to order lunch and dinner Central to Great Portland Street and Oxford Street. At the end we found it good to meet people and very Central

Hotel's Favorite
This hotel is a great property with an excellent location. It is steps from the tube station and close to bus routes. It is also quite close to St. Pancreas station. The staff at the hotel are excellent and there certainly is enough of them. They have at least one door man often two and they are more then eager to help you. The check in was very fast and efficient. This property has very unique lifts when press the floor you with to go to and the display indicates which lift to take and the lift takes you to the floor with out having to push any buttons. There were even staff there to help you with this. The rooms are not large but very well appointed. All in all this is a great property.

Stayed here many times because my mother and father in law liked it but it seems to get worse every time we visit. We stayed on the level which is meant to be a higher level of service!! After a 30 minute booking conversation on the phone they still got the booking completely wrong which meant another 30 mins at checkin Waiting staff, whilst polite, really struggle with basic English, ask for a number of anything and you always get 1 only. Also they have a buffet for breakfast which is always cold no matter how many times you point it out. They used to cook to order to address this but that has been stopped now. Place has really gone downhill and we won’t be staying again

Dear ianmF4530LB, Thank you very much for choosing Meliá White House and for taking the time to share your experience with other travellers. We genuinely appreciate that you decided to give us another opportunity and we are truly saddened to learn that your time with us did not live up to your expectation on this occasion. At Meliá White House we aim to create memorable experiences for all our guests, by offering the best customer care and ensuring we meet all your needs and we really are sorry about the difficulties experienced with the reservation as well as for the unsatisfactory temperature of the food. We would like to clarify that we do still have a menu available during breakfast from where our guests can order the dish of their choice All the comments we receive are of great value and we have proceeded to share yours with the management team in order to review them internally and establish the necessary measures, working to improve our guests' experience. We loved having you here and we are sad to see you leave this way. We know that we are capable of offering memorable experiences and would be delighted to have the opportunity to welcome you back and offer you this time the unique, pleasant and unforgettable Meliá experience we like delivering and you deserve. Kind regards, Guest Experience Team

Stayed here for one night. The hotel has a great ambience mixing the modern with old fashioned luxury. The staff were friendly and very attentive, the same as any Melia hotel we have stayed in. Cannot fault anything.
