Stayed here recently for a work conference. As a bed for the night, it was fine. The room was very dark, no matter how many lights I turned on. Room walls were paper thin and I heard every word from the phonecall my neighbour was having. The bar is table service only and there

It was wonderful that I was upgraded to an Executive Room which gave evidence that I would be able access The Level for breakfast and services, for example. Indeed, there was a Level notepad in the room and the "Do Not Disturb" sign had a Level logo. I actually called Guest

Spent a night here recently. The room itself was good - I asked for a quiet room and it was. The room was clean and the bathroom OK. I would have given 5 stars but there was only 1 UK plug by the desk (and a table lamp was plugged into it) - i ended up buying an adapter to

Dear Nick_L911, Thank you very much for your review! We are thrilled to read that you had a very pleasant stay at Meliá White House and that you would recommend our property to other travellers! It is also our pleasure to hear that the location served you well and that the Spanish-influenced buffet breakfast offered at The Place restaurant surpassed your expectations! Having said this, we are truly saddened by your comments regarding the in-room plug facilities. We would like to let you know that the hotel is going through a modernisation process which will transform our rooms in the months to come. Your observations will be certainly taken onboard so that you can thoroughly enjoy our refurbished rooms during your next stay. We look forward to welcoming you back soon! Best regards, Guest Experience Team

Hey, Its only a half an hour walk to the Wonderland at Hydepark, and you'll get to explore the posh Marylebone on your way there. You can stop by for coffee on Thayer st. if you need a break. If you prefer not to walk, you can take the Bakerloo line to Piccadily - might take 30 minutes too, with all the delays these days. Oxford is only a 10 minute walk down Great Portland or Regent st. Waterloo station is only 20 minutes away on the bakerloo line.
