My husband and I stayed here for a week last year for our anniversary. WE LOVED THIS HOTEL ! the customer service was excellent- the room was small but clean and comfortable. They had a piano player every night at the bar downstairs which we really enjoyed. The food at the hotel was also some of the better meals we...

I travel to London for work quite often and the staff at the Rubens exceed expectations! They are truly dedicated to customer service, particularly Patrick at the front desk. He went above and beyond to help me when I had some travel delays at the airport and always remembers me! It's a delight to have someone like Patrick and all...

I led an 11 person family holiday trip to London (age range of 14 to 81); we had 6 rooms at the Rubens for 5 nights concluding on New Year's Day. We could not have been happier with our choice! The location is fantastic- walking distance to many attractions, a short train ride to others. What really set The Rubens...

Staff, food, bed were all wonderful. Location - it was a bit hard to find. I took my mother there for one night while we roamed around the palace. Pricey for me, but a very nice treat for us. Delicious food. The place was small, but very comfortable.

I stayed here for (1) night pre-cruise primarily because the cruise group's transportation started from this hotel. The location is not exactly in the middle of things, but almost everything is a short 15-20 minute walk away. It is centrally located, and if you walk in any direction you will find an amazing landmark. The palace is about a 5...

Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
