This was our first stay at the Rubens and it was absolutely perfect!! The staff are incredible and treated us like royalty. Everyone working here goes above and beyond. We were celebrating my moms bday as well as an early Christmas and they made this trip unforgettable. Every detail was taken care of. I can't say enough about The Rubens....

This is a slightly old fashioned hotel, but the staff, amenities, food, rooms and service are absolutely first class. The staff in particular are very friendly and helpful, and our room was very comfortable with a huge bed.

A great afternoon with an old friend having afternoon tea. The staff were all friendly and attentive. The food and surrounding were excellent. Even had to take some cakes home as there were so many. The hotel was beautiful and very clean. We will be coming again soon.

Hotel is very clean, and the facilities are very good. The breakfast menu was comprehensive and food was delicious. It is ideally situated for Victoria Station, and was perfect for us to access all the places we needed to be. . .Hyde Park, Chelsea, Mayfair, central London. The room we had was well equipped and the bed was very comfy.

This was our first stay at the Rubens and we look forward to many more. We usually stayed in one of the larger chain hotels and there is just no comparison. Rubens gave us great service, especially Julia in the breakfast room and Bogdan and Anthony in reception. We used taxis many times and they were always willing to run...

I've stayed here several times before and had fantastic time, this time I left Rubens very disappointed. We came for my mums 60th birthday, when we arrived our room wasn't ready, we were advised to wait in bar and they would let us know when room was ready, they didn't and we had to chase it up ourselves. When we...

Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
