We stayed here for 4 nights. The afternoon tea was scrumptious and I highly recommend. We booked our trip originally for 2 days and pre-paid and got free breakfast and $50 credit. Then we decided to stay 2 more nights and received the breakfast deal and another $50 credit. The breakfast was lovely and our waitress a petite brunette in... More

Me and my friend stayed here nice friendly people , nice and clean . Such great location near to town. We did not get chance to sample breakfast because had to leave early but it smelled good. We would definitely stay again . The bathrooms were small but just what you needed .

To sum this place up succinctly I would say great location, a little dated inside, indifferent service at breakfast, average bar service and comfortable but dull bedrooms. Anywhere outside London and you wouldn't pay the prices they charge, but London is where it is. If you want a good location for sightseeing, you'll find it difficult to beat. It is... More

We have stayed here before and would never consider staying anywhere else... it is like coming home! The staff are friendly, attentive and wonderful. The hotel is rather palacious but has a relaxing atmosphere among all the finery. The main restaurant upstairs caters for all tastes and never disappoints with either meals or breakfasts. The bedrooms are very tidy and... More

Lovely hotel in the Red Carnation group. Can't fault any of them. You can reliably stay in any one and the standards are of the highest quality and maintained by the wonderful and well-trained staff. Can't single anyone out as they are all trained to the highest degree. Stayed two nights in the Henry VII suite -fab! Could have done... More

This is really a must, extremely good value, the Staff superb and the surroundings second to none, go on spoil yourselves, you will not regret it, the Afternoon Tea consists of sandwiches, cakes, yummy, scones and jam and cream and of course choice of tea and coffee. The staff could not do enough for you, Elci is great.

Right by Buckingham Palace this hotel is in a great location. The staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful. Our bedroom was spacious and clean, and the bed comfortable. Returning to our room on a very hot afternoon we were delighted to find a bucket of ice, bottled water and a plate of chocolates waiting for us! Breakfast was faultless... More

This is an older property directly across from the Buckingham Palace Mews. This Hotel is beautifully decorated in what we would call the old British style, we loved it. The rooms, lobby, restaurants, etc. do not disappoint. We had a King room with a Mews view and enjoyed it tremendously, especially when the horses and carriages would come and go.... More

Stayed for valentines and it was idyllic, from the moment we checked in the staff where friendly and efficient. The food was first class and the beds and rooms made me want to not leave. An added bonus was a food voucher that made our dinner free. And try the carvery, it was unlike any carvery I have ever been... More

We stayed at the Reubens in July for 5 nights. It is an old hotel with lots of quaint charm. The rooms are very small, but well appointed. Some rooms have been renovated (specifically the bathrooms) and are much nicer than others, even in the classic room category. The rain head shower is nice, but difficult to use if you... More

Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
