Choosing this hotel for an extended stay in such a central city location was a very wise choice indeed. I just returned from a 17 night stay at the Rathbone and always felt welcomed by the front desk crew who were always willingly helpful and friendly. The charming furnishings and decor in the lobby lounges where complimentary breakfast is served couldn't be more relaxing and stress free with its soothing jazz music accompanying your croissant, fruit, and coffee served in a proficient manner by Anton and his aides. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but there are discounts offered at those nearby specifically for the guests at the Rathbone. My standard double room was comfortable, clean, and ample while the daily maid service is thorough and consistent. I'd certainly return to the Rathbone during any future trip.…
Had a good business trip to London and stayed at the Rathbone Hotel. Breakfast offer is very small, but it is a complementary breakfast, so it's enough. Very less plugs in the room. My room definitely would need a refurbishment and better windows, because it's quite loud, if the pub outside is well visited. Service was perfect, Omesh (?) from Front Office and bar did an exceptional job.
Wonderful hotel! The staff are so friendly and efficient. The rooms are large and comfortable and the hotel offers a great complimentary breakfast. Would totally recommend and can't wait to return. Location is so convenient for Central London and Fitzrovia offers many independent bars and restaurants.
I stayed at The Rathbone with my wedding party a couple of weeks ago and it was absolutely perfect! Lovely well kept hotel, but what really sets it apart is the staff. Jacob from our first interaction was so incredibly helpful and accomodating at my ever changing room requirements with many friends and family adding on and moving around and going above and beyond to find a reasonably priced taxi. Charlie, Jesus, and I'm sure there were others, were so helpful once we arrived, including keeping my wedding cake in their fridge overnight! Nothing seemed too much trouble and there was always someone on hand to help with bags or whatever else we needed! The bar is well stocked with everything you might want and the new barman (was his first time behind that bar) was so professional but laid back and dealt so well with the tsunami of people we brought in at once - just super friendly fantastic service all round. Breakfast is a relatively small continental selection but what there is is good quality and there are fantastic places to eat nearby if you want something more substantial. I loved my stay, thank you to everyone for making what could otherwise have potentially been a stressful weekend into a completely stress free one!…
An unexpected gem in Fitzrovia. Great location for central London. Very friendly/helpful reception and super efficient check-in/out online. Though rooms are slightly dated, they are well appointed, spacious (even small doubles) and very clean. Continental Breakfast included. I would definitely stay again.
I love this hotel. The location is great - quiet yet a few minutes walk from Oxford Street with lots of really good restaurants in and around Charlotte Street - literally round the corner. Staff are so friendly and considerate - really lovely. Continental breakfast is included if you book direct. The small double rooms are a really good size for London with plenty of room plus a small table with comfy chairs. The rooms facing the back of the hotel are very quiet indeed - numbers 404 and 504 were silent! Rare for central London. Room 310 also great facing Charlotte Street so a bit of street noise. I’ll be back very soon.
Super friendly and helpful staff (thank you to Lucia, Andrea, Jesus, and all), spacious and nicely decorated room, relaxed atmosphere, and great location, we had a very nice stay at Rathbone hotel. One of our favourite places in London, and will certainly stay there again.
This is the second time I stayed at the Rathbone Hotel and it was a delightful experience. It’s tucked away in the Fitzrovia area filled with restaurants of all types that are absolutely wonderful. The staff, in particular Peter the night manager, Francisco and Charlie were very helpful and went out of their way for my; also welcoming me back was Ellie in housekeeping. It’s a comfortable place with a convenient continental breakfast, and easy to walk to most places. A new favorite!
We loved our stay at the Rathbone. The entire staff was friendly, but Peter in particular stood out as friendly and helpful. The Superior Room is spacious and we were very thankful for the air-conditioning. My wife and I also loved Albert's Bar. We couldn't ask for more. Pubs and a restaurants are close by.
The hotel was hold but nice and very good located but was veryyyy noisy! We heard all the noise from the bar that located in front of the hotel. Breakfast was very simple. They was very kind but couldn’t offer us to move to another room because they was full..
