The room was clean and we had breakfast in the restaurant, the food was very nice, but the service was second to none. The stay was made very comfortable by the exceptional staff. If you wanted anything, tickets to a show or just a cab the staff would help you get what you want

My wife and I stayed overnight at the hotel, having booked a few days previously by phone. The booking was swift and efficient, with Marian going out of his way to help me.We booked a Junior Double room, which was very comfortable, having been greeted very courteously by the reception staff. They kept our luggage whilst the room was prepared and offered a complimentary drink whilst... We booked to stay at The Rathbone after a nightmare stay at another establishment the night before (see review later, after I've resolved the issues with that stay....) We were welcomed by the concierge who opened the front doors for us to enter, and we proceeded to reception where we were warmly greeted by the team and checked into our... More

If you are looking for a moderate hotel in a great London neighborhood, Rathbone is your place. Reminds me of a small boutique hotel in Paris. Funky room layout, a bit of character, tired, but clean. Not a true business hotel, but worked. Close to transit, shops, and food. Friendly staff, cute little bar in lobby. Would stay again.

Stayed overnight at The Rathbone. Cheapest reasonable room I could get nearby. Single room was more than adequate, and much better than manufacturer single rooms over stayed in locally (which often feel like converted cupboards).

My boyfriend and I traveled to London for the first time, and we chose this hotel based on its location (only a few blocks from the Goodge Street tube and walking distance to the British Museum and many landmarks) and good price. The hotel is a bit on the older side, but the lobby, bar, and rooms are all clean... More

We stayed at this hotel because of the location as we were away for an evening (away from the kids so a rare treat) to go to the theatre. Staff were very friendly, beds were comfy and very clean. So we went to see our show and got back at around 11pm and there was a lot of noise from... More

Like a lot of the hotels in London this hotel isn't cheap, however it is not over the top expensive either. Could do with a bit of modernisation but is a completely acceptable hotel and the beds are more comfortable than a travellodge and your bathroom is on a different level which is what you are paying the extra for.... I was greeted in the stylish lobby with a big smile. I actually said "great first impression!" to the guy at reception. I can report that it continued; second, third, fourth impressions.... the room was chintzy, the bed was excellent with a feather duvet, and the bathroom was fine (small, but fine). This is Fitzrovia where the floor space of... More
