Small underinvested rooms, very nosy construction opposite site of the hotel makes your stay very noisy in the morning till evening unless you are not the construction worker. The only good thing is location, if you can skip all other, good luck.

Really good location, and friendly staff. I got an upgrade to a lovely large family room. Nice coffee machine etc for me to use. The one thing I'd count against it is the need to take a deposit on my card. Why? My stay was fully paid by a business travel agent.

Dear OliverS3385, We're pleased to hear that you had a positive experience at our hotel and that you appreciated the location, our friendly staff, and the upgraded room. We strive to offer our guests the best amenities and services, so we're glad you enjoyed the coffee machine and the comfort of our large family room. Regarding your point about the card deposit, we understand that it might be a point of inconvenience for some of our guests. This policy is in place as a standard procedure across many hotels to cover any incidentals or extra services that may be required during the stay. It's a common practice and it is designed to ensure a smooth experience for our guests. Rest assured, it is not a reflection of the trust we have in our esteemed guests like you but a part of our endeavor to maintain a seamless service standard. We hope you were able to explore some of the many attractions and shopping districts during your stay with us. Being in close proximity to Mayfair’s art galleries, Regent’s Park, Bond Street, Soho, and the West End, our location offers endless opportunities to our guests for exploring the city. We sincerely appreciate your feedback and look forward to having the opportunity to welcome you back soon. Best Regards, The Reception Team

Booked this hotel to celebrate three generations my family having birthdays in Feb one granddaughters 10 daughters 50 my 80 birthdays. Booked 2 rooms on the same floor and paid for Premium Deluxe Rooms. Young man at the reception was most unhelpful. He spent ages on computer screen not uttering a word, asking if there was a problem he took a while to answer then informed us that one room was on one floor other was on different floor, when I said that’s not what we booked and paid for he muttered they didn’t get the request, then went back to looking at computer screen. We finally got key to room 117 which was for my daughters and 2 granddaughters, it consisted of double room with large sofa bed which can only be described as in the shape of a banana, head up, feet up, my 14 year old granddaughter had to sleep lying across as it was so uncomfortable, the room was so small, it was a standard room with sofa bed, not premium deluxe, there was barely any room to move in the room at all, especially with 3 people in it. My room no 203 was premium room not deluxe, the bed side light was not working I asked if it could be rectified at reception but it was not rectified. Really, really disappointed as it was a memory making trip but when you willing pay for the best and finish up being given second best, not good, would not recommend this hotel, Although near Oxford Street the view from my window was building site, there are certainly a lot better in London.

Dear SheilaH490, We were deeply troubled to read about your recent experience at our hotel. Celebrating such important milestones is indeed a significant occasion and we truly regret that your stay did not meet your expectations. From your description, it seems there may have been some miscommunication at the time of checking in. Please accept our apologies for any confusion that may have been caused regarding the room allocation. Your comfort and satisfaction are paramount to us and we regret any inconvenience you may have experienced due to the room assignments. We also keenly noted your comments about the condition of the sofa bed in room 117, as well as the size of the room itself. We strive to provide the best possible accommodation to our guests, and it's disappointing to hear that you found it less than satisfactory. In addition, we understand that the lack of repair for the bedside light in room 203 must have been frustrating. We apologize for any oversight in this regard and thank you for bringing this to our attention. The view from your window is also a part of your overall experience and we regret that it was not up to your expectations. We appreciate your feedback on this as well. We would like to assure you that we take all guest comments seriously and your feedback provides a valuable opportunity for us to revisit our standards and procedures. However, we would love the opportunity to discuss your stay further in order to understand the situation better and see how we can improve. Please reach out to us at BONDSTVIP@EDWARDIAN.COM to discuss your stay. We look forward to hearing from you soon. Best Regards, The Reception Team

Hotel is in a great location, but unfortunately, there’s a lot of construction going on around a hotel at the moment and it’s quite noisy during the day. The room was very comfortable, but definitely has seen better days since it needs to be renovated. Hotel room was very clean, and the bedding was excellent. The staff throughout the hotel we’re great.

Dear PDX16, It's delightful to hear that you appreciated our prime location and found your room to be comfortable and clean. Our central location in the heart of London's shopping district and proximity to numerous attractions is indeed one of the features that our guests value most. Nestled just off Bond Street, we are privileged to have the vibrant areas of Soho, Mayfair, and the West End within walking distance. Moreover, the treasure trove of art galleries in Mayfair and the serene beauty of Regent's Park are just a few steps away, offering a rich blend of cultural and leisure activities. We truly appreciate your kind words about our team. Our staff members take their roles in our industry very seriously and try, every day, to provide that quality customer service that our guests expect. However, we're sorry to hear that the ongoing construction work in the vicinity disrupted your peace during the day. It is an unfortunate circumstance beyond our control, but we hope it didn't entirely overshadow the positive aspects of your stay. Your feedback about the need for room renovations has been taken in a constructive manner. We continuously strive to provide the best experience for our guests, and suggestions like yours help us in our endeavor to improve. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future, where you can experience an even better stay, unmarred by external factors. Best Regards, The Reception Team

Last minute weekend away, was greeted by the lovely reception team who recognised our previous stays and we received a lovley room upgrade on the top floor. Wonderful stay again, fully recommend the breakfast! Only downside which could effect some clients is the building work going on next door, looks like a long term project and any international guests may not appreciate the noise if suffering from jet lag! Top stay, thank you Bond Street Edwardian :-)

Despite the newish, and modernised communal areas, the room was old and disfunctional. Toilet didn't flush, heating didn't work, bathroom door squeeked badly (woke my wife), no night light available, just all on or off, queue for breakfast, just not enough tables, eggs benedict congealed and cold. Overall, less glitz, but a Premier Inn beats this by miles in real terms. Discussed my disatiffaction with manager who mumbled a sort of apology, and did nothing. To be avoided, plenty of other better hotels in the area.

Location good, clean room and here it goes seriously downhill. Stayed room 310. Not what we expected from a Radisson Hotel. Double bed, too small for 2 people, old mattress with a dip in the middle. Not comfortable. Air con was incredibly noisy, had to turn it off to try and get some sleep. Had to plug in tv, thought a bit strange until we tried to turn it off. It would go off for a minute then consistently turn itself back on. Had to unplug it to stop it working. Basin in bathroom had a crack in it. We went for Breakfast when it started at 7.30am, staff pleasant. Choice of food ok, but served in Bain-Maries and food luke warm at best. Ordered an omlette off the menu which was hot and good. On checking out was going to mention the problems with the room, but not even asked if everything had been alright, so couldn’t be bothered to raise these issues, hence this review.

Dear nickiBrockhill, We regret to hear about your less than satisfactory stay at our facility. We consider it essential for our guests to have a restful and comfortable night. It's unfortunate to learn that the bed and air conditioning in the room allocated to you didn't meet your expectations. We appreciate your feedback about the television set and the bathroom basin. This will be forwarded to the relevant departments. Your experience is certainly not reflective of the high standards we strive to uphold. Regarding breakfast, we take pride in offering a wide variety of food options to suit all tastes. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the freshly made omelette. Our hotel is indeed located in the heart of London’s shopping district, with many iconic locations such as Soho, Mayfair, and the West End within walking distance. This provides a unique opportunity for our guests to explore the city. We are sorry that you felt you missed the opportunity to raise these concerns during check-out. We would like to assure you that we value all feedback, as it helps us improve and serve our guests better. We hope that despite the issues encountered, you would give us another chance to provide you with a stay that meets our usual high-quality standards. Best Regards, The Reception Team
