Bang on Oxford.. But the entrance is off Oxford.. Above the Disney store... Super location.. Lower floors could get noisy.. But I will go back and stay there.. Most convenient location ..rooms are tad bit small but not that I expected them to be bigger.. It's London!

My second stay here at the Edwardian Berkshire, the service from check in to check out was second to none, the young girl who checked me out took a genuine interest in my stay and where/how I needed to get to my meeting. Extra bonus being upgraded upon arrival!! The rooms here always have everything you need and more. Definitely... More

The hotel is in a perfect location, it is central to all London activities. In my experience you cannot go past a Radisdon Blu hotel. This was no exception. The staff are very pleasant and extremely helpful, nothing was a problem. We stayed in room 619 which was excellent. The meals at Scoff and Banter, especially the afternoon tea was... More

I stayed here last night and had a rubbish experince On checking in £50 was taken off my credit card despite me saying the bill was going to the company and I wouldn't be having any extras . The receptionist was adamant it was standard . Then this morning I was told they were trying to find out how to... More

Had booked this hotel 2 weeks before, paid upfront, as it was ideal to walk to the north entrance of Hyde Park. Went to check in - no rooms. They knew but did not inform me in advance. The other hotel was near Gloucester Road! Not even close to the same distance away. They did however provide a taxi to... More

Dear Julie L: Our sincerest apologies that you did not have the most pleasant experience with us this past weekend - due to extremely high demand, our property became 'over-booked', and a small number of our guests were to be relocated to some of our sister properties, due to no physical rooms available for these room types; I am very... Our first impressions on arrival weren't that good, as there was a lady complaining, queues at check-in and flustered staff. After 15 minutes of waiting, we were asked to check in at which point we asked if our room was ready but at 2.15pm, it wasn't. As we had an important prior engagement (that we needed to get changed for),... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
