Upon arrival I had my credit card blocked with some €300+ "Just in case I use the bar"....Today, ONE month later they still didn't release that amount from their end. Endless emails resulting in nothing but "sorry we can't help you" "it's in the hands of the merchant" Leaving me broke for my trip during Christmas week and again for...

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights over the weekend. I was very pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was. It was in a great location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay in the hotel again on my next trip to London.

We have stayed in this hotel for Christmas Shopping for the last 3 years. Ideally located on Oxford Street with easy access to local tube station. Lovely clean hotel with comfortable rooms and very competitively priced for the area. The Reception area is really too small for the hotel which proves difficult when checking in and out at busy times...

Not very impressed with this hotel. Room was in dire need of a refurb and carpets looked like they were 20 years old.. See that others have said the rooms are great, but I guess it depends on what you get. So much for Club Calrson concierge status I guess.... :( They didn't even have a power-plug converter you could...

It is not a cheap hotel and not extremely expensive in the same time, but its great location in Oxford street makes it worth that price. The staff is helpful and friendly i.e. the Hungarian guy David. The rooms are clean and spacious enough. The reception presents a wide variety of the hospitality drinks and sweets everyday. I like the...

Recently stayed in rooms 506 and 518 for couple of nights for our regular post Christmas shopping weekend. We had a super time. Originallly booked 2 deluxe doubles but we're lucky enough to have one room upgraded to a business class room which was lovely. You certainly do get the extra space with these rooms. It's a shame we were...

I stayed here over Christmas break (2016) and was happy with my hotel room. If you are not used to visiting European hotels, there are a few things you should know. First, staying in a standard room with 2 people will be very cramped for you. I was on my own and I still felt like the room was very...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
