Stayed here for one night on a London stopover, the accommodation is very clean and the staff very friendly. Great location within walking distance to a Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park etc. Would definitely come back here on any future visits to London.

The Montcalm Hotel never fails to please - it's perfect in every respect. Spotlessly clean, well maintained, excellent food and very attentive staff. The location too is excellent being just around the corner from Oxford Street yet it's an oasis of calm away from the hustle and bustle.

this is a boutique hotel facing the Montcalm. it's staff were very friendly and curtious. the problem is the size of the rooms and smoking smell in the toilet. the staff were so helpful to shift us to the main hotel.

We had stayed once in the past and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. To the extent that we decided to treat ourselves to 3 nights last month to escape reality, to relax and soak in some peace. We couldn't have been looking forward to it more. All 3 nights were utterly obliterated by screaming kids tearing up and down the corridors... More

The check in was very helpful. I arrived very early and checked in at around 7.30am. I managed to get a room before 9am which was great. The front desk and cleaning staff worked hard to get me the room. The room itslef was small but everything was pretty new and functioned very well. Bathroom was small like the room... More

would definitely not stay here again, the room was so tiny, there is about 1.5 foot gap around the bed we couldn't move! 2 people trying to get ready was a nightmare! kept tripping over each other and the room was so dark! had every light on and still felt like we were in a cave the location was good... Lovely hotel. Fresh clean room with complimentary fruit on arrival! Great shower facility and very comfy bed as well as good air con (very hot weekend in July). Upgraded to Club Room which was free of charge! Would have given 5 stars if the staff were a bit more friendly. Had a couple of trainee staff whilst we were there... More

So I ended another hotel stay early as the room was tiny in the other hotel. I paid a bit more for this hotel. That being said, the initial single room they showed me to was bigger than the tiny room I had in hotel but was still pretty small. For a very reasonable amount the hotel offered me an... More

I stay regularly at the Montcalm Brewery and Tech in Shoreditch both of these hotels are excellent. Check in was painful, asked for Id which has never happened at any montcalm before. I didn't have any, never mind they can do it without. Do not mix this up with the much bigger hotel with spa across the road by the... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
