Fantastic stay in this hotel. The bed was very very comfortable and there was absolutely NO street noise. It was so quiet. I had a great nights sleep followed by an extremely tasty breakfast where the choice was just amazing. Fresh fruit, cereals, dried fruit,...More
The rooms are nice and the hotel is clean but this is not the most accommodating hotel. I arranged in advance for early check-in only to arrive and receive a very polite no. The same can be said about concierge service along with room service.
Very nice room. Was surprised at breakfast at the number of children staying, some of whom were running around causing a nuisance. One dived into the hotel lift and pressed the top floor button and then dived out again sending me on an unnecessary trip...More

From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's
glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
