4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW via mobile

We stayed here for 4 nights and everything was perfect apart from the air-conditioning in our room was not working. The rooms were clean, well equipped and spacious. I reported the air-conditioning on the 1st morning but nothing was done. This was a shame as the weather was beautiful but the evenings were unbearably hot.

We picked this hotel up on the Monday before the bank holiday for a great price. It was central and we had a lovely walk along Tower Bridge. The receptionist was very friendly at checkin. Our room was on they 3rd floor. Large double bed and converted sofa bed for kids. LCD TV with loads of channels. Including +1's. Bathroom... More

The hotel is perfect in terms of location & the initial reception experience was very good. Unfortunately, we experienced a number of issues with cleanliness of the room and to compound matters the drain in the bathroom sink was blocked & despite reporting this on three occasions, it was still faulty and the smell was incredible on day 6 when... This hotel is located across the road from the Tower of London. It is also just off the Tower Hill tube, so ideally placed to visit this fantastic city. We booked a family room. It was smaller than other family rooms in other hotels in London, but for a family of three, it was fine. The fabulous power shower was... More

The trip started by business and has been extended for the weekend. The Hotel is not even 5 minutes from the Tower of London. Tube station and Water Taxi are just around the corner as well as the lovely way close to the Themse which leads you to Westminister and the rest of town. Furthermore I highly recommend to visit... I saw a couple of negative reviews for this hotel and so was wondering how I would find it, I can honestly say there is nothing to worry about, it is an excellent hotel. Stayed for one night, and I wish it was longer. Accor Silver status meant we were given an upgrade, we had a lovely corner room (541)... More

We were visiting London with my young niece for a sightseeing trip. The hotel is in an excellent location a 2minute walk from Tower Hill tube station and a 5 minute walk to the tower itself. Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
