We had a wonderful experience at The Grosvenor. The staff was very helpful, the rooms were beautiful, quiet, and spacious enough for a regular room. Bathroom was big and beautiful. The executive lounge was fantastic - Breakfast, afternoon tea with scones, happy hour, AND a tasty light dinner every night. I miss the lounge! I will stay here any time...

Hotel was great location is perfect it is in the middle of everything. We had a package that included breakfast and breakfast was whatever you want. The only con: I could think of was you have to pay for wifi in the room and it was 10£ a day if I remember right but free in the lobby so that...

Checking in was smooth and efficient and our room on 5th floor was nicely laid out. Only gripe would be that you had to climb into bath to take a shower, which may inhibit less mobile customers. Breakfast in JW Steakhouse was first class with a wide choice of continental buffet and/or full Cooke breakfast. Our waitress , Claudia, provided...

This is a lovely hotel which has been refurbished recently and provides a quality stay. The room was large, clean, with very comfy beds and all amenities, fruit in the room was a great touch. The breakfast is one of the best in London, plenty of choice and many healthy options - bircher muesli, home made granola, etc. The staff...

The Grosvenor House never fails to make you feel at home and yet in total luxury.. Well located, you can work well from here, shop till you drop and fall into a deep sleep in quiet and comfort.. The only downside is the car noise from racing ferraris in july August which goes on until the early hours, and by...

Granted I am Mariott Gold, but this Marriott hotel has the most charming and accomdating staff of any hotel in which I have stayed. They are attentive and ever present to help. It is an expensive hotel, but you feel it is worth the price when you are there. Rooms are very nice and it is the best Marriott Executive...

This hotel is very historical, and considered high end place to stay. It was a little snooty in my opinion. Lots of affluent people stay here and they get the royal treatment, including women brought in for pay. The bar is very expensive as well. The gym was better than average, but the rooms were old and small. The staff...

We moved our U.K. Awards ceremony from the Savoy after 6 years to the Grosvenor. A controversial decision internally and the Grosvenor had a lot to live up too. They absolutely stepped up. With the exception of a slow check in, every minute of the day from morning seminars through to champagne lunch & black tie dinner / awards ceremony...

I walked into the JW Grosvenor House after having made reservations at the Marriott Grosvenor Square. I didn't realize there were two Marriotts in the same area with such similar names. I didn't want to move so Clare at the Front Desk had taken care of cancelling the booking at the other Marriott and instead I booked that one. In...

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
