Perfect stay except for the rude concierge who did not even offer to help with a last minute booking for a show or to hail a cab because it was rush hour! This is a silly review that needs to be at least 200 characters! waste of time

This hotel is very good, great location, modern, clean and has good facilities. If there was a slight niggle, it was that the door in the corridor (I was in room 478) banged really loudly every time someone went through it; a slow closer would solve the problem. Having said that I would stay here again and recommend it to... More

Having had previous poor experiences in this hotel, I was slightly apprehensive. Straightforward check in process. Very friendly customer service from room service. The late night order to room service was fulfilled for hot food . Had a perfect night's sleep during my stay. Breakfast was always not very amazing . There was a reasonable selection of items. After reading all the reviews below I don't understand most of the complains. This is not a five stars hotel, like you know. BUT, it's a great value for your money. Room is always clean, bathroom is very clean which is most importent. Staff in the front desk are very helpful, they were always happy to help and assist with... More

As all reviews here mention, the location is perfect! You are near the shopping streets and a great breakfast place called "Paul". We wanted an affordable hotel near Oxford street and we were seriously unpleasantly surprised by the prices of ALL hotels near Oxford street. Okay, we booked rather late since we only knew 3 weeks in advance. But the... More

The location of this hotel is very convenient for Oxford Street and local venues such as the King's Fund or the Royal Society of Medicine. However you do pay for that. The location lets the hotel get away with being a bit shabbier than you would expect for the price. Having said that the reception and bar were well run... More

Stayed here in august/September 2013 with wife and other friends. It's a great location in central London especially for those who want to do some serious shopping. Oxford street is just round the corner, Debenhams is a stone's throw away. You don't need a taxi to get to places like Oxford street, regents street or even Piccadilly Circus, trafalgar sq,... More

Originally booked this in my name but my friends stayed in my room instead. Was over for a book launch (thanks for the complimentary champagne) and Covi was great in organizing things over the phone (thanks Covi, you're a star!) but my friends were disappointed with a few things on their first trip to London. The bathroom light would not... More

Hard to fault really, as with a holiday inn u kind of know what you're getting. Yes it's one from the 90s so slightly old but rooms clean and bed very comfy. Great location and would return. We got an early checkin too which was an added bonus and just 5 min walk from Bond street

My wife and I stayed for just one night. We found the Hotel to be perfectly located for a touristic visit to London. Moreover, we arrived around 10:00 am and we were able to have the room without any problem (normal check in time is around 3:00 pm). Then, the concierge provided highly useful advice on how to get a... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
