I have been staying here with my elderly mum for one night each week for about 5 weeks now so my mum can attend the London Eye Hospital (a short 5 min stroll down the road) for surgery & treatment. The hotel is perfectly located for that, and a bit of Oxford St shopping which is also only 5 mins...

Dear Jan M, Thank you for staying with us on your last few trips to London whilst your mother has been having her surgery and treatment at the London Eye Hospital. I do hope that it has all gone well and she has recovered. I have noted your comments regarding the desserts and fruit salad and will review with the...

Comforable clean room. The only issue was the constant noise from the bathroom. Even when the light was off and the door was closed you could hear a noise. The breakfast was good with a choice of full English breakfast, cereal, fruit. Very close to Oxford Street with good underground links to all of London close by. I would stay...

Located closer to Bond Street than Oxford Circus, this Hotel is very conveniently located on Welbeck Street, behind Debenhams, to the north of Oxford Street a mere 2 minute stroll from Bond Street tube station. Well appointed, our rear upper floor room was clean, comfortable and quiet appearing to have been recently re-furbished, the WiFi worked well. The Staff were welcoming...

Very well placed hotel for the shopping areas in and around Oxford Street. Placed just off the main thoroughfare it is surprisingly peaceful. Just a short stroll away is the hullabaloo of all the shops. The staff were friendly and willing to help. The bijou twin room was clean and supplied with all the accoutrements and facilities one would hope...

Location, just behind Oxford Street is the only real plus of this hotel. I found the reception staff, none with strong English speaking facilities, superficially courteous and not particularly concerned that my room was still not ready for check in by 2pm! Perhaps it was a language/communication issue but telling me my room was actually ready but I couldn't check...

Stayed here on a short break in London with my wife using my IHG points. The location was great, being so close to Oxford Street and some great restaurants. Hotel was standard Holiday Inn fare, clean and tidy and the staff were friendly. I would recommend this hotel of anyone looking to stay in London.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
