Stayed for One Night only - Thank Goodness! Unhelpful staff on Reception. Visitors and Staff sitting on the outside steps and smoking as you arrive at the Front Doors. Tasteless breakfast little choice , which summarised the Hotel rather well. Very expensive room rate for 2/3 * service. Wish I had stayed at The Marylebone Hotel , only 200 metres... More

We have requested a handicapped room through the booking agent. Specifically we asked for a shower bathroom because my mother cannot step over a bathtub. The agent even contacted Holiday Inn customer service (chat screen confirmation is available), and she confirmed the room requested has shower bathroom. So we arrived at the hotel after a very long day. Lo and... More

Great location for shopping in Oxford Street. Hotel is very clean, comfortable and the staff are very friendly. Breakfast is ok, usual Full English with continental option. One limitation is only having one lift and if you're on the 6th floor you can find yourself spending a lot of time waiting during peak times ( Breakfast for example) the lift... More

Very tiny rooms but then again this is central London. Breakfast was ok staff is ok ( could be a bit friendlier) location is amazing just behind selfridges so can't complain on that. I have been here twice already for business. Nothing more nothing fancy a bit expensive though

Stayed here twice. Reasonable price for a good location. But, rooms are very small, bathroom extremely tight with no counter space. AC was VERY loud, several light switches and sockets didn't work. The fire doors in the hallways make bringing luggage in and out very difficult. The brass plates on the doors in hallways and common areas were filthy, everything... More

Poor noise insulation. If you are a light sleeper, this is not the place for you! The noise from running water in the pipes will keep you awake all night, however, the hotel does provide ear plugs to block out the noises. Good location. Walking distance to Oxford Street and Regent Street. Front office staff is as chilly as the... More

Picked this hotel as the closest to the office I was doing some work with for a couple of days. Very quiet, (including the air conditioning), and the room was ok. Nothing fancy but everything worked, it was clean and fine for somewhere just to get your head down. Quite pricey at 256 for one night but it was a... More

Dear Tracey C, Thank you for review and i hope that you eventually enjoyed your stay with us. Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
