The husband and I were one of the unfortunate travellers who checked into Berjaya Eden Park on a hot and humid day. Our room was tiny; barely any place to walk. Only one suitcase could be opened at a time (on being international travellers, we had 4 large cases). We were offered a corner room on the 4th floor which... More

I was booked into this hotel for two nights by the company that my business uses. I wasn't impressed by the reviews so I rang ahead, explained that I'd seen some pictures on trip advisor and that I was concerned about the quality of the room. On check in, I again said about the reviews and was given room 51... More

The location is great --- it is very close to public transport ( both tube and bus ) and in a locality with lost of restaurants and supermarkets. Also, Oxford Street is 10 mins by bus. The hotel itself is clean. The room was spacious and had an AirConditioner ( which is not the norm in many London hotels ).... More

This hotel is less than kilometre from London Paddington. Quite central. Tube is 2 miss walk. Single bed rooms are quite small and hotel structure inside is maze. Breakfast was alright and staff were warm

The hotel staff were wonderful, very nice and very helpful. The location is perfect. It's close to Bayswater and Queensway tube stations and we could get to most locations from one or the other without changing trains. Also, there were a lot of restaurants on the street behind the hotel as well as a Sainsbury (where we got breakfast every... More

3 minutes walk from Bayswater tube, making for convenient travel around the city, and very near Hyde park. Also close to many restaurants, but we decided to eat at the hotel one night as there was Malaysian menu - and it was delicious, and not overpriced. the hotel could do with some modernising throughout and our room was a bit... My second stay, this time with friends. The first was two years ago. Apart from being a member of the Berjaya Vacation Club with the privilege of special rates if my application to make a reservation (done six months' earlier than intended stay), the best thing about this hotel is its exceedingly convenient location. A choice of two tube stations... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
