I checked in as a guest and the process was delightful. Please give Davide a raise or whatever as his service was beyond sterling. He was friendly, open minded, warm, understanding and efficient. It also helps as he speaks several languages as well. I'd only come to this hotel again if he still works here!! Zarith room 4090 merci muchos... More

However tired the rooms might be the location cannot be faulted. We had a King room for 2 nights. All the facilities were there but still a comparatively small room. Bed was very comfy though.Housekeeping was disappointing as we had to call 3 times to sort out things that hadn't been done. The hotel is big and the airport style... More

Have stayed here many times as nice atmosphere and very convenient location On this visit we had to queue 20 minutes to check-in and when we went into our allocated double room it was very very small with a 3/4 sized bed pushed against the wall and hardly any room to get past the bed to the bathroom In fairness... We booked through Secret Escapes and got a great deal. We were given a lovely quiet, spacious room to the rear of the hotel. There was an enormous queue for checking in (every time we subsequently passed through reception, the queue was always enormous. It seems to be the norm here). However, when we got to the front of the... More

Avoid room 8105, quite possibly the smallest, poorly lit room in London. We were in town for a charity Ball and booked a double room in this well known hotel - when we arrived we lined up at reception with the other 20 or so couples trying to check in and finally got allocated our room. To say we were... More

Location was great, staff where fab, great rooms really quiet once in your room but can't deal with full capacity long queues for check in, left luggage, lifts and breaksfast ! Need to sort this out as you should have the staff to cover for the total amount of rooms

Didn't like this place, it's sooooo tired . Rooms are miserable, bathroom was very worn . Little things like the towels , they are of course clean and freshly washed but they look 100 years old , hard, worn , and that sums the place up. We have a group dinner with Italian guests and they found the food so... More

Interesting decoration in the lobby area, well appointed at the end of Oxford Street close to Marble Arch, the rooms are clean and ample room with a safe. There are many places to eat within the hotel and many nearby restaurants. You are in easy walking distance of the main shopping centre, reasonable value for money when taking into account... More

Check in should have been 3pm – room wasn’t ready until 7:30pm and they still needed to separate the beds. I paid up front for an executive room, when I got there they didn’t have any executive rooms available, I got this at a discounted price and in my opinion they re-sold this room at the normal rate so I... Location is excellent, 50yards from March Arch tube station and right next to Hyde Park. Check in and out efficient, and a special mention to the concierge team - they were excellent! First morning, Friday 7.10am breakfast 'check-in' was the most inefficient i have come across, second morning, no problem. Breakfast was overdone sausages first day and an empty coffee... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
