Knightsbridge Hotel is a well lcoated establishment close to many amenities. (March 2020) Stayed here in October 2019 and waited till now because I like to have mpressions sink in so you can think about memories that places bring back to you. I would stay here again but it's not perfect. At the time of writing it's rated number 114 out of about 1137 hotels in London, and really, the people that stay here are not that interested in public reviews. Lack of helpful votes is high with this premesis. Arrived after a long haul flight from Sydney very late at night and shown to a room in the basement. Any bed looked good by then. Hit the shower, which is in the bath and fills up to below knee caps with restricted outflow (didn't care, was having a shower after 23 hours of flight hell). In cold morning light .... nah, need to do better with the room. So, we went to reception and took up the welcome card, which was made out to some other people (not us) who probably rejected the room earlier in the night and were upgraded to a new room. New room was bright and airy. Will try to post image but TA are notorious for denying panorama shots. Faced the street, but unfortunately, also the construction works across the street. Never mind - Keep calm and suck it up. Bottom lines: Nice Hotel. Very British. Dud breakfasts and breakfast room, and this is from someone who only has corn flakes and copious amounts of tea, which you can't get. Great decor. Brilliant location. Very nice staff. Professional (except for the welcome card blunder). I even worked out how to fix the plumbing, which seems to be regulated so that water doesn't flow away too quickly. Wasn't until 3rd night that I worked out how to turn off the ridiculous heat coming from the bathroom. Great things: You can open the windows. Supermarkets around the corner. Nearly everything around the corner, including Harrods food hall or McDonalds, whatever takes your fancy. If not up for restaurant meals or room service, or if ceoliac .... go to Harrods, get a huge salad protein mix which you get to select and bring the huge bowl back to your room with a detour to the wine shop. In the morning there are heaps of cafes including major retailer further up the street from Harrods which does breakfast. Easy walk to main museums. Easy walk to Hyde Park. Did the circuit past the arch around the lake and back to Knightsbridge. Great way to spend an afternoon. Can walk past Buck Palace down the Mall or through St James Park to central London, or, easy trip anywhere on the Piccadilly Line. I would stay here again, but would probably ask for a room to the rear, that had windows. Bed was reasonable, as were pillows. If you head to Spain, Portugal or Italy afterwards you will long to be back in a real bed. If you want: Charm, Location, Shopping, Sights, Park, History, Convenience, wrapped in a charismatic package, and a Hotel that tries - then stay here. I hope they put the right name on your welcome card or don't give your room to someone who complains louder than you do.

This is a really nice hotel and my second stay. Lovely reception area with cool design and furnishings, smart honour bar with lovely gin selection and nicely appointed bedrooms. Very good location for West End activities and right side of town for Heathrow. Only small grumbles are £4 for small bottle of water (I think one should be complimentary) and they don't have foam / hard pillows.

Lets start 1st with the fact that this is a very good hotel. The staff (more to come) is attentive and courteous, the rooms well appointed and beds very comfy, sitting areas extraordinarily inviting, strong WIFI and good continental breakfast. It's centrally located and within 3 miles walking distance of most major attractions and parks. It's also located on a small side street that makes you feel like a resident in your own flat. I do wish the service in the sitting areas would have been more attentive. Too much time passes waiting for a server to place an order. This wasn't a "one time" issue it was always. Fix this and I give you 5 stars.

Clean, comfortable room in an excellent quiet location. I would stay again. Wonderful hot chocolate instead of champagne on arrival, much appreciated. Super friendly and efficient staff. Only downside for me were the unpleasantly strong toiletries but I have my own unscented ones. Note to hotel; a guest's choice of carefully chosen perfume does not need to be overshadowed by shower gel or pillow sprays. Please rethink your kind offers.
