I am a woman staying at the hotel by myself and as I am in the shower I hear a knock at the door. I have not ordered room service or anything so I am surprised who would knock uninvited. I look through the peephole and see a man wearing a hat, hoody and full of tattoos trying to come... More

Excellent location for our weekend stay. Straight off the train at Euston and onto the Underground to Chalk Farm, short walk to the hotel. Lovely area of London. We didn't interact too much with the staff but what we did we found them friendly and helpful. The room was adequate for our needs, a bit dated but perfectly clean and... More

Check in staff polite, lift grubby, hallway towards room not too bad, room like a trip back in time to the 70's. Grubby in places. Paid £140 for exec room. Rather depressing feel to place. Needs updating.

As a regular client (5 weeks so far this year) I was appalled to be told today on check in that they are now charging £7 per day for wifi in the room. This is disgraceful especially in a hotel which is not the cheapest. This underhand way of increasing revenue leaves a bad taste in the mouth and I... More

I was at the hotel for 2 nights. Good point: cheap, near the Regent park. Bad point: not the cleanest hotel (found some dried gum in bed, some towels were not white but more brownish), horrible buffet restaurant , when I arrived there was free internet the next day it was charged (??), not the best sound isolation... Conclusion :... More

When coming to this hotel, I was expecting a dreadful place but I must admit i was positively surprised. Yes, the hotel was built a long time ago, clearly never refurbished but it is clean, simple and great for short stays. We had a room on the third floor with view on a green area, no noise. Staff is friendly... More

Stayed here last summer, first room- end of corridor , water running out of shower when I was arriving, carpet what was white years and year ago had a lot of marks included one big dark brown.. What honestly really scare me ... Room was small and don't have pleasant smell. What ever the staff was nice and give me... More

We went to London for the weekend with National Holidays and stayed at Britannia Hampstead. We have stayed here many times & love the location. We had room 501 which is the top floor, it is next to the lift but you never heard it! As soon as you step out of lift you smell new carpet & paint &... More
