This was close for our need to visit the Royal Free Hospital and would equally be a good location for many London attractions. The check in was efficient but it was down hill from there. We chose to use the stairs as our room was on the first floor (122). Once in the stairwell the location of the toilets for...

I've stayed here lots of times due to the hotel's proximity to our office. There are surprisingly few hotels in the area and Britannia Hamstead offers excellent value for it's location. It's in walking distance of beautiful Primrose Hill and also Camden (Roundhouse + Camden market etc). You should expect rooms to be tired and dated. However, they are always...

Excellent value for Camden and walking distance to the Roundhouse and Camden market. Tired and dated but clean. Probably wouldn't holiday here but a great base camp for a overnight or weekend stay. Bar reasonable and open late. Clean comfy bed. Shower hot and bathroom tatty but clean.

Certainly very dated in décor and tired fittings. But regardless we found the Britannia Hampstead Hotel to be good value for money in such a convenient location close to the centre of London. After all you get what you pay for. At the lower budget end of the market we found this hotel to be quite acceptable ... just don't...

My husband and I stayed here after seeing a band at the Roundhouse. The location was great. The room was clean and the check in efficient. The hotel in general looked like it hadn't been refurbished since the early 80s but it had a certain charm to it. I would stay here again as it didn't break the bank!

After reading the reviews on here was apprehensive about our stay but it was only for one night whilst my daughter attended an engagement party nearby. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I booked a double room without a window which was on level -1. The room cost £59 plus £10 parking on 29 December. The room and...

Myself and my partner really like this lovely traditional hotel and have stayed here twice. This time we stayed for two nights. Great location within walking distance of Camden town. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Excellent location for Camden visits and specifically walking distance from the roundhouse. Cheap bar. Clean though dated room.I paid £59 for a twin room on 4th floor. For London that is a fantastic deal.Good hotel for an overnight stay. For longer would probably go elsewhere.
