Neighborhood
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.

My fiancé and I stayed at this property during our first ever visit to London. It was clean, well kept, and I could tell our bathroom was recently upgraded. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. The hotel is so quiet, I wondered if anyone else was staying there with us! The peace

Very well appointed hotel, exceptionally clean and tidy BUT the noisy air-con unit outside our BASEMENT room was really annoying. The charming, Iranian lady on reception was most apologetic, but the damage was done. Be more careful which room you book.

This is a smaller hotel in a quite nice and calm area. Near Bayswater tube station, or just a 10-15 min walk to Paddington. The small rooms are just that, small. But the double rooms are quite descent and the bathrooms are newly refurbished. Nothing fancy, but a decent night

Hi. Reception isn't open 24 hours but sister hotel Phoenix next door is and no problem dropping off or picking up keys. They have a board specifically for KHG keys so process is quick.

Just stayed there. Super-friendly reception. They are open from 8a-5p. After 5p, you have to drop off or pick up your key from the Phoenix Hotel, just a few doors down. Not an inconvenience at all.
