Nice hotel but rooms could do with an update , I stayed here for a few weeks whilst working in the area. It was an OK base 2 mins from the bayswater central line. Hotel is directly above a petrol garage so I was woken up on several occasions whilst they refuelled and received their early morning deliveries. Breakfast was good , lots of choice and everything was tasty , staff were pleasant enough. For the price I've stayed in much better in the area so won't be returning
The hotel front towards Hyde park is a dirty gas station with a supermarket next to it. Thrash lying about on the sides. Aything but presentable, a real disappointment. The actual hotel entry itself is from the side of the building to an elevator lobby with narrow stairs up to the actual lobby reception. All of this makes for an extremely confusing, unwelcoming and shoddy appearance that you don't want to present if you were to meet someone (for example for a business meeting) at the hotel. The vibe is that of a hostel. The staff service is friendly however, no issues there. Our Deluxe Twin room was very clean, but NOTHING like the images the hotel uses for marketing. I felt completely cheated. We had a good view from our 9th floor room over Hyde Park but that didn’t help the disappointment. The bed was clean and really comfortable and the bathroom with shower and tub were very clean with good water pressure and heat. The room is adequately equipped, absolutely no complaints there. The breakfast buffet is varied and quite good, however for the two mornings of our stay the fruit served were clearly no longer fresh with the pineapples colouring and melons drying up. The staff at the restaurant is very friendly. The restaurant is open and clean. A major concern particularly considering the open access from the street, is that one can without any room key take the elevator to any floor of the hotel. We tried this ourselves, and while the elevator may appear to require presenting a room key, it actually doesn't. We walked in from the street and took the elevator without any supervision at 10 pm from the street to our room door on the ninth floor. This is a catastrophic failure by the hotel, a complete disregard of basic security.…
Second time staying here. Nice hotel, lovely staff. Very clean. Breakfast good, lots of choice. Excellent location. Within walking distance of Paddington station, Hyde Park, Kensington. Only problem was the bill. Booked and paid through lastminute.com. Hotel charged me as well, even after confirming we didnt have to pay them direct. Phoned up to ask for charge to be credited back to card, said this would be done. 10 days later, no refund, no response, and getting nowhere.
Great hotel and easy to get to. Easy check in and out and just an overall good stay. The room was clean and had the necessities we needed for our stay. The only thing I would say was missing was a small refrigerator, so we could keep our drinks cold.
Great location for families meet up and on site car park. Underground stations nearby. Kensington Garden across the road for relaxing stroll. Staff friendly and helpful. Good buffet breakfast. Room very clean. Plenty of restaurants walking distance..
Bartender was very helpful and friendly. Vincya was the highlight of my stay as i had to wait ages for a room so it was lovely to have a pretty face to converse with . I will for sure recommend this place for anyone
Enjoyed my time spent here, decent breakfast, the restaurant needs a bit of refurb in my opinion. Big rooms, enough space good enough amenities in the room, cleanliness was good, view from the room was ok. Will definitely return!
rooms very clean and this is very important!!!!! room have the view at the park !!!!amazing , great staff , breakfast was good enough but not that much of the choice , definitely we will stay there again
Good location, clean ,good Breakfast, delux -Twin Room good but quite small. Excellent large tv on wall, some problems getting room key cards to work . Enjoyed our stay. Evening meal in Brasserie, good food ,very reasonable price for London
The hotel was great and the location was very convenient. But I have to say, the bartender at the hotel bar was INCREDIBLE! Vincya was such a great ambassador for the hotel and was terrific to learn places to visit as first time visitors to London. We enjoyed every conversation we had with Vincya and are grateful for her guidance.
