Nestled in the heart of Chelsea, the Sloane Square Hotel garners applause for its stellar location, with guests enjoying easy access to London's vibrant shops and attractions. The hotel's atmosphere is consistently celebrated for its elegance and welcoming vibe, complemented by commendable service from attentive staff.
While the rooms are recognized for their cleanliness and comfort, some guests find them a tad small and suggest a refresh could enhance their appeal. Opinions on value are mixed; the location is a hit, but room size and additional costs for amenities like breakfast divide guest sentiment.

Over many, many years of traveling to and stay in London, this has become out hotel of choice. We've stayed here over 10 times in the past four years and have never been disappointed. Service is attentive, rooms are clean and comfortable, prices are extremely competitive (for London), and --- for us at least --- the location can't be beat. Food options galore in the surrounding area, including Cote which is affiliated with the hotel but is more of popular dining spot than it is a traditional hotel restaurant. The lobby has recently been redecorated in a very positive manner, and access to the London underground (and several lines of bus service) are all within 100 meters. The hotel faces Sloane Square which is lovely most any time of the year, but especially so during the holiday when it is all lit up and quite active --- so even if you are in a room on the backside of property (which we actually prefer), you exit out onto the Square which features fountains, trees, seating, etc.

The hotel staff are A++++ The location is truly one of the best in London. Great restaurants & shopping surrounding the hotel. Though not associated, the hotel shares interior access with the excellent Côte restaurant. Keep in mind that you will definitely need reservations for dinners. Please note: only 2 of the hotel rooms have easy access to the bathroom showers; all other rooms have the combo bathtub & shower. The tubs have high sides and a hinged 2 panel heavy glass door. Room #115 is the room to request if you require a handicap toilet & shower.

The hotel staff are A++++, and the location is truly one of the best in London, surrounded by fantastic restaurants and shopping. Côte, accessible from the hotel, provides an excellent dining option, though dinner reservations are highly recommended. For those considering room features, note that most rooms have a combination bathtub and shower with high-sided tubs and hinged glass doors. If you require a more accessible option, Room #115 offers a walk-in shower and handicap-friendly facilities. A superb stay overall—looking forward to welcoming you back!

A quaint and historic hotel in a great location. We proceeded upstairs to check in and the sitting room was very lovely. They had all individual place settings on beautiful China set up on individual tables. In the afternoon, they were serving tea and coffee with scones. The cappuccino and espresso machine was amazing. We did not have an opportunity to eat the breakfast, but the spread was also amazing with plenty of choices. The room itself was very small but the bed was comfy. We also had to leave the windows open for several hours to air the room out due to a persistent odor. The bathroom was also very tiny. If you are on the large side, you are not fitting through the small opening of the shower.

☺️Positive: The location of the hotel is very appealing, especially at Christmas time Sloane Square is festively lit and the hotel is also very tastefully decorated at the entrance or lobby. Lots of shops are within walking distance and there are great restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The entire service team of the hotel is generally very attentive, very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet is served in a very nice but not too large room with views of Sloane Square. The room size was - by British standards - quite pleasant and also the size of the bathroom was - by British standards - reasonably comfortable. The beds looked a bit strange at first glance, but it was quite easy to sleep in them. - The existing Dyson hairdryer is also positive to note.
😏Not suitable for a 4 star hotel (according to European standards): 1 day before arrival, problems with the hotel bill suddenly occurred. I received a message from the hotel that my credit card was not working and I should enter another card into the system for billing. After several changes to the map nothing changed, but I was informed that you can not reserve the room for me any further. I was completely baffled or horrified, did I now have a booked flight and no hotel?!? The mistake was not - as noted by the hotel - due to my credit card, but to the fact (information VISA) that the payment was not authorized correctly by the merchant and the required PSD2 guidelines were not adhered to. Very annoying! In the room, paint stuck to the black floor of the bathroom, as well as to a curtain. The curtains (= store) in the room were completely crumpled. A supposed box was definitely not to be built for the actual purpose, because it contained the minibar, on it glasses and snacks, as well as a safe at floor level, ... also so not to use. That is, more than half of the box could not be used as such. Therefore, our clothes had to stay mostly in the suitcase. From the bathroom door, the wood came loose and dried-up white (wall) paint could be found everywhere.

We have stayed at the Sloane Square Hotel several times now ...it really is a Home from Home for us. The minute you step into he fabulous, newly re-vamped foyer ,with it's soothing green decor, the hustle and bustle of London is left behind... The rooms are so well equipped, with everything you could possibly need, including super comfy beds ,high quality linens and towels, sometimes it's difficult to leave the room....! The staff are all exceptional and charming. We love this place.

Chose to stay at the Sloane Square Hotel because of its close proximity to Cadogan Hall where we attending our granddaughter’s graduation. We upgraded the room from a double to a superior double a few days before we visited. Really pleased we did this despite the extra £100 cost. The room was on the 2nd floor to the side of the hotel. Windows were double glazed so little noise from the traffic outside. The room itself was small and the bathroom very small but having said that, functional. Very little drawer space however and the rail in the wardrobe was very high. Linen was good quality except for the towels on the first night which was fraying on the edges. Bed was comfortable. Shower over a very small bath was good with both a waterfall and handheld attachments. Water was hot. Although we didn’t use it, the mini bar was well stocked. Tea, coffee available to make hot drinks but no kettle. A Nespresso machine was there but you had to ring reception if you needed a kettle. Umbrella, shopping bag but no iron, again call down for an iron. Staff were lovely and very helpful when we requested anything. The dining area was very pretty and overlooked the square. Complimentary scones with jam and cream and a hot water machine to make tea or coffee from a coffee machine. This was the breakfast area too although we didn’t use it. The hotel only serves a continental style breakfast so we used the Cote Brasserie where there was a good menu of hot food. You can access the restaurant via the lobby which was good in the very wet London weather. Reception staff were very good from check in to checkout. Generally, a nice comfortable hotel but just lacked the wow factor to make it an excellent hotel.

We return year after year and use the hotel as a base during Chelsea Flower Show week. The location is top notch and allows us to walk in many different directions without the need for taxis or public transport. A short walk to Harrods, Hyde Park or Battersea Power Station. The nearby pubs and the Tonteria Night Club are also on the door step.
We chose an executive room to the rear of the building which was extremely quiet allowing quality sleep during our stay.
We love the simplicity of the continental breakfast range. The smoked salmon is some of the best we have tasted. Although mainly buffet style self service , we found the staff very willing to assist in any way they requested.
We used the first floor lounge overlooking the square on a number of occasions for coffee and cake break.
Check out was fast and we appreciated assistance with our luggage.

It's always a very special week for us and we are delighted you enjoyed it! Delighted to hear you enjoyed breakfast in our Lounge throughout the week. Great customer service! The team at the front desk, the restaurant, and during breakfast were all very professional and kind. We stayed in a small double room, which was fine for us, but if you're not petite like we are, I strongly encourage you to book a larger room. The shower is quite small, which is unfortunate because the water pressure is amazing. The vegan burger for room service is fantastic! The hotel location is within walking distance to the metro, local shops, and groceries. We attended my sister's graduation at Cadogan Hall, so it was a perfect location. The coffee was excellent, and there were great options at breakfast. It is a bit pricey, but I guess that's what you pay for the location in this area. The shuttle to the airport is not included, which was a bummer. Aside from that, it was a great experience for a short trip to London.

The hotel has gone down or not improved in standard over the last few years I have been coming here. Location is the best benefit with the underground opposite and convenient for one stop to Victoria and the Gatwick Express. On entering the room it was immediately a strong musty smell like damp especially from the bathroom. We had to spray deodrant to get rid of it , we didnt have the energy to go down and complain as we arrived late in the night.
There are NO plugs next to the bed, only USB ports ! from a time gone by.So you have to basically unplug a lamp on the other side of the room to charge your devices.
To use the shower and prevent the room from getting wet you need to be an acrobat in the bath to manoevre the glass door. Aside that there is a dirty non slip mat you can use that doesnt look like its been replaced in years.
Recommend go next door to Cote for breakfast which is very good, as the hotel provides a poor quality continental on a different floor of the hotel.
The hotel is tired and needs an overhaul.
Careful to consider where come from the positive reviews that only have "1 contribution"

I chose Sloane Square Hotel for its location.I was singing Elijah in Holy Trinity church with Labrador Events My room was at the back of the hotel for which I was very grateful as it was quiet. It was well appointed, and on asking I got a kettle and a mug ,as there was only a coffee making machine with 2 tiny cups . The continental breakfast on the first floor lounge was extensive ,and good value.Cooked breakfasts were avaliable at COTE Brassiere, attached to the hotel The staff were very helpful .
