Exceeded my expectations. The staff is beyond amazing. They are very attentive. The 24 hour food service was much appreciated. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. I enjoyed the Nipa Thai restaurant and the breakfast.
Spent 3 nights in the Royal Lancaster, London to celebrate DHs birthday. Have to say that I cannot think of anything which could have been better from check in to check out. Check in was quick and friendly. Our room was a deluxe view on Floor 14 with a view of the city skyline and also taking in part of Hyde Park. The room was spotless with all the amenities that you need, including a fridge, which is always handy. Bathroom was a decent size with a very good shower. Bed was very comfortable and the room air-con was a welcome bonus in Londons recent high temperatures. Breakfast on our 3 mornings was simply superb. Very good choice of hot and cold items. Staff at breakfast were excellent - very friendly and cleared away plates etc very quickly, which doesn’t happen everywhere. The hotels location is obviously excellent for Hyde Park, and the shops on Oxford Street are only a 10-15 minute stroll away. For further sightseeing, dining etc, there is a tube station at the rear of the hotel - 2 minutes from the main entrance. So within 15-30 minutes you can be anywhere from Tower of London to Wembley Stadium, and it’s an inexpensive way to get around. All in all, a really great stay and we will certainly return, very probably next year. One tip - we had initially booked the hotel through a 3rd party and we were happy enough with the price, even though it didn’t include any breakfast. However we signed up to the hotels “Friends of the Royal Lancaster” website and we got a cheaper price, which also included a room upgrade and best of all breakfast. Well worth a couple of minutes of our time…
I travel to London for business multiple times a month. The Royal Lancaster has become a home away from home. - Their service level is the highest I've ever experienced in London. Staff always go above and beyond for all their guests. - The rooms are a nice size, have great views and are super clean. - Breakfast is excellent. - Location is superb, directly next to Hyde park and walking distance from Paddington. - Their in-house restaurant, Nipa Thai, serves incredible Thai food.
We found this hotel a year ago and returned for a spring time stay. It was as good as I remembered. Beautiful linens, well-appointed bathroom (heated floor and heated towel racks are so nice!), lots of closet and storage space, and a quiet and comfortable room. Staff is always available to help out, too. I especially want to recognize Cyndy Divinagracia Apalisok, who was so helpful. Because of people like her, we will continue to make this our “home” when we visit London.
We had a last minute booking that the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. From the very beginning till end we were completely taken care of. The food was extremely filling and of the finest quality. The best thing however was the level of service. Not a single request was too difficult for them to accommodate to. Special shoutout to Jules for being extremely attentive, sweet and providing top class service. Our table of seven is extremely grateful. Would highly recommend the afternoon tea at the Royal Lancaster!
So I spend amazing time in royal Lancaster everything in hotel was fantastic restaurants was clean all the people working in royal Lancaster friendly so thanks Amr because he help me a lot I will be back soon
They’re really good. Cleanliness is very important to me and I was happy with how clean the room was. They were fast to do everything we asked them to do. It’s true that it is on the pricier side, but you won’t regret it. The only downside is that the room a bit small, but that did not bother me because everything else was perfect
I was located on the 10th floor and had a great view out the window. The bed was super comfortable. Room and bathroom was spotless. The staff was highly responsive to any and all needs. Easy to obtain taxi right out the front door. The plug receptacles were for most countries, which was very useful if you need to plug in and do some work or charge your phone by the desk or USB by the bedside. The property is very modern and light with attractive furniture throughout. Be sure to have breakfast 7:00am to 11:00am, something for everyone from salmon, cheese, breads, yogurts to a warm breakfast if you choose.
When visiting London, usually for work purposes, I always stay at The Royal Lancaster. This is an exceptional hotel. The quality of the service and the plushness of the rooms are all superb. The bathroom are filled with The White Company products which are delightful, the bed is firm yet very comfortable (I believe there is an option for a mattress topper to make it softer if that is your preference), and the views across Hyde Park and London I think must be unparalleled. The location is great, whether you need Heathrow airport or any train stations (20 minutes by Underground to KX/St Pancras, or Victoria) or for shopping on any major London area. Westfield Shepherds Bush lies 15 minutes away by tube, and Oxford St/Regent St, 10 minutes away by bus/tube. In my experience the breakfast is second to none, with a buffet that caters for all needs, be it healthy options, congee, viennoiserie, and of course the full English breakfast. It is truly fantastic. I really recommend staying in this fabulous hotel :)…
This 5-star hotel should be rated a 7-star if there’s such rating! From the moment our shuttle dropped us off the curb we were treated like royalty! The desk staff were so efficient and courteous and whizzed us through the check in process! Our rooms were ready way before the 3:00 pm check in time. Neat, clean and spacious with a wonderful view! The included breakfast has a wide selection of food and the servers were attentive to your needs! Truly an amazing experience!!!!
