I was welcomed by very friendly staff members early Saturday, and the room was already made ready for me. It was a small single, but very functional and with everything you expect from a hotel room. The lift was slow, and it wasn't obvious where the stairs were so I ended up waiting a bit for the lift at times.... More

The location is ideal but more importantly the staff are first class, paying attention to every detail to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There were many staff who were very friendly and helpful, but one person who stood out was Akil Syed. Many thanks to him for making my stay comfortable who did all he could to give... More

I was shocked and surprised at the small size of my bedroom and shower room. It is not what anyone should expect at the prices charged. There was only one lift for guests which was small and slow. I couldn't get my TV to work. I was woken at 5pm by bin men emptying bins at the front of the... More

Stayed here on business - love Radisson's generally and usually stay at the property nearby in Portman Square but it was fully booked. Waited an eternity to check in but very pleasant staff and eventually got my room key. My room (119) was on the first floor and was hidden away down some stairs and down a corridor on its'... More

Oh dear we accidentally got dropped off at a gorgeous hotel called The Radisson Blu Portland Marble Arch which was sooo plush! Nothing like the one we booked at the same prices!! Initially we were given a box room with a 4ft bed and a bathroom that you had to walk sideways to get to the loo as the gap... More

The hotel is in a great location for Oxford street, marble arch, Hyde park they are all within 10 minute walk. The beds are comfy, the air con works, the room had coffee and tea facilities plus s mini bar even though the things in it were expensive The above reason are why I have scored it 4 out of... More

Just checked in to my room as part of a group on business. There are 8 of us in total with some of our colleagues travelling from the US. The location one small block off Oxford street and two blocks from Marble Arch is extraordinary. Location is in a small, quiet one way street. Even rooms facing the street are probably very quiet. Our view was to the back and pulling down the curtain made the nicer view. Our dinner reservation got lost between the reception and the dining... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
