Very friendly staff & good breakfast. Room was tiny. Bed was old & saggy. Kept rolling from wall. Sink had lime scale and drain smelt of mould. Mould on bathroom tiles. Toilet didn’t flush well. Shower was literally impossible to stand in. Bath and sink stained yellow. Receptionist didn’t take a deposit, now I know why, if I’d broken anything it’s not like that would be able to tell. The room should be gutted and chucked in the tip. It wasn’t just that every item of furniture was scratched and it wasn’t remotely aesthetically pleasing. It’s the authenticity of charging a large sum for me to smell mouldy drains and attempt to stand in a yellow tub with a slanted wall, so you can’t actually stand in it & shower.

Just back from an amazing stay at corus hyde park hotel, wow what can I say... Staff were the friendliest people I've ever met in a hotel, so welcoming and even gave some language lessons to my teen kids. Thanks Dante x staff go over and above to meet the needs of guests, special thanks to Dante, Minola, Ana and Olga for being so helpful with directions and places to go. Reading reviews before I went I was freaking out but once I got there I was amazed how beautiful the hotel, surroundings and staff were. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant. I will definitely be back again before the year is out, central location next to Lancaster Gate underground and Paddington Station, Hyde Park is a beautiful area and buses running right outside hotel taking you wherever you wish to go. Also tea/coffee making facilities are first class with proper cups and there's a beautiful wee bakery round the corner for fresh crossiants in the mornings. No issues with hot water and beds were super comfy. I definitely rate this hotel 4+ stars, thanks again to the amazing beautiful reception staff for being so kind and helpful hope to see you again soon 😊

They initially gave me an old room, so I went to tell them it didn’t look like the picture of what I booked, then they gave me a refurbished room. Nice but still small and basic and when you look closer, you find mould on the wallpaper by the window, on the window frame, and the curtains. The bathroom was tiny, more a shower room. No shower screen so by the time you had a shower, the bathroom has turned into a swimming pool. Also, no hot water at 9pm so had to wait for a morning shower. Room service doesn’t deliver food or drinks to the room, but no bottled water in the room. Breakfast not amazing, small choice. How does this hotel keep its 4 stars?! Mystery…

The staff at Corus were the best we’ve ever seen, from calling private cars: recommending alternate travel means; and arranging for anything requested. Dante; Ana; Zeeni and all the others- thanks again for going all out to make our stay so enjoyable.

I now see in the small print on some booking sites for the Corus Hotel that 'at busy periods' your room might be one of the 'classic' rooms that have not been refurbished. I guess that's what we got. A tiny room, with dog-eared wallpaper, dings and scrapes on the walls, filthy carpet, and a dreadful old bed that needs a new, firm mattress. Really disappointing.

Greeted at reception with lovely staff, beautiful entrance and foyer just like the photos. Unfortunately.... The standard double room was less than standard. It was quick and easy to compare it with a cabin on a ship. The 'en-suite' was a shower in a cupboard. We were looking forward to what appears luxury in the photo gallery but that stopped when we opened our room door. Unfortunately we have had a nicer, roomier, comforting room with Premier inn at half the price.

The hotel is centrally located, opposite to beautiful hyde park. Also, walking distance from London Paddington. All the staff working in hotel is awesome. I’d specially like to thank Zeenie Fernandes for being so helpful and for making our stay comfortable. ⭐️

Very disappointed went to London for our wedding anniversary , the room was at the end of a first floor corridor , opened the curtains it was overlooking a gate where people were gathered outside the window I am presuming it was the staff entrance, having their break , the room was small , outdated dark and cold , the bathroom was very outdated and needed a refurbishment the wooden bath panel was mouldy it was nothing like the photo we saw of the room when we booked
