The staff at Corus were the best we’ve ever seen, from calling private cars: recommending alternate travel means; and arranging for anything requested. Dante; Ana; Zeeni and all the others- thanks again for going all out to make our stay so enjoyable.
I now see in the small print on some booking sites for the Corus Hotel that 'at busy periods' your room might be one of the 'classic' rooms that have not been refurbished. I guess that's what we got. A tiny room, with dog-eared wallpaper, dings and scrapes on the walls, filthy carpet, and a dreadful old bed that needs a new, firm mattress. Really disappointing.
Greeted at reception with lovely staff, beautiful entrance and foyer just like the photos. Unfortunately.... The standard double room was less than standard. It was quick and easy to compare it with a cabin on a ship. The 'en-suite' was a shower in a cupboard. We were looking forward to what appears luxury in the photo gallery but that stopped when we opened our room door. Unfortunately we have had a nicer, roomier, comforting room with Premier inn at half the price.
The hotel is centrally located, opposite to beautiful hyde park. Also, walking distance from London Paddington. All the staff working in hotel is awesome. I’d specially like to thank Zeenie Fernandes for being so helpful and for making our stay comfortable. ⭐️
Very disappointed went to London for our wedding anniversary , the room was at the end of a first floor corridor , opened the curtains it was overlooking a gate where people were gathered outside the window I am presuming it was the staff entrance, having their break , the room was small , outdated dark and cold , the bathroom was very outdated and needed a refurbishment the wooden bath panel was mouldy it was nothing like the photo we saw of the room when we booked
We stayed in this hotel for just 1 night and were very disappointed and it was definitely NOT 4 Star as we were expecting! This is for a few reasons, including mainly the fact that the room was freezing cold and heating didn't appear to work properly, even though we reported it to Reception (they ended up having to give us a basic blanket!!). My husband and I spent a miserable overnight feeling cold. The Executive Room (we paid extra for)was actually a good size, although bathroom was very dated. The only plus point was the cooked English breakfast, which was good.
Stayed here on a Saturday night because we were seeing a show. Great location next to Hyde Park and the nearest tube, Lancaster Gate is a two minute walk to the hotel. We were able to check in when we arrived, about 2pm. Staff were friendly. £30 was taken from my debit card but returned on departure. Our room 846 was huge, fridge, desk, slippers, robes, coffee machine, comfy bed. Bathroom quite outdated and furniture a little outdated too. The only annoying thing was the curtains didn’t fit the windows so in the morning the light poured in under the curtains and at the sides affecting our sleep. Breakfast was nice, busy at 9am, by 9.30am it was quieter. Food basic and just a few options but was nice; a few cereals, two pastry options, ham cheese, some mixed fruit and basic hot food; bacon, sausage, mushrooms, beans, tomatoes and scrambled egg and a toast machine. Yea and coffee were offered but the tea was quite cold. The lifts slow and small, plus one out of order. Use the stairs if you can. The juice; apple and orange we had was lovely. We found our stay really good value for money and would definitely stay again, thank you Corus Hotel.…

I would not recommend this to anyone, me and my girl went there to spend 3 days in London first day we got there everytime was good then the morning after that’s where the issues started room was very cold, and the shower was not getting hot either the water was a warm cold water, called reception and told us that they was trying to fix the boiler and fully understand she offered a small heater for our room telling me that she will bring it upstairs. The heater never came and we showers wiht that cold warm water, when we came back from dinner we asked for the heater again as was getting really cold they gave me the same answers that they will bring it up for me guess what the heater never came again really and experience. Morning that we was leaving ee had to get a shower and we had the same exactly problem the shower was not getting hot again same situation called reception 3 time told me that someone was coming upstairs to have a look no one came till after ee had a shower in cold water and they came exactly after 40 minute we miss out r train on top of that’s was just a really bad experience and I will never recommend this to anyone…
