Very good service and food. Excellent location. Ezio was friendly and very attentive; he did a great job of looking after us all afternoon. Booking was easy - Heetashee, the booking manager, helped set up the event and was very helpful, even opening up an area of the dining room just for us (a party of 15) and giving us a lovely space; she also helped one of our party with a quiet room for a business call half-way through the tea. Thank you!

We had afternoon tea at the Corus as part of a retirement event for a colleague. The food was good; the large glass-roofed bay window was a perfect spot; Ezio, our waiter, was attentive, helpful and especially friendly. A lovely afternoon! Thank you Ezio for making it so special.

Very good service (from Ezio), nice view as well. Not many people when we were there, and Ezio checked on us to make sure we have all things we need. food was good too. Scones were served red. Cakes were not too sweet which I like

Room was OK, bed was good. Fire (pre)alarm apparently went off after showering. Hotel crew at the door but we didn't hear anything. Had to leave some pieces of baggage on our final day, which was very well taken care of by Dante, who was very friendly and helpful.

The day before we flew out and where due to stay here we got an email basically saying you can "bid" for an upgrade of an executive room. We bid 30 quid for the craic and got it. But when we got to our room it was very small, compared to other executive and luxury rooms we have stayed in previously. The bathroom was fab, big, deep bath and nice hot shower. Cons: The windows are tiny. We where on the 10th floor and again - for an exec room - you would think you where getting a view of Hyde Park but that's not the case. The vent above the air con started vibrating loudly at 4am and frightened the life out of us. We just started roaring laughing and turned it off. That being said - the hotel is nice. Does the Job. And the beds are so so comfy. The lads on the desk also took our bags while we roamed the city after check out ☺️

Well after reading sooo many bad reviews we were dreading staying here ......but it was a very pleasant stay ! Lovely twin room, linen and towels fresh, room very clean, plenty of room, TV did not work but we weren't fussed so I informed reception for future guests. Breakfast was very good and the staff are incredibly pleasant and helpful. Location is SUPERB, just across from Hyde Park, and only a taxi away from many sights. Honestly couldn't fault a thing, I guess some guests were less fortunate in their allocated rooms maybe ? But that said, the staff, location and good food surely compensate for a smaller room ?

They advertise it as a 4 star hotel but it's a fraud. It's barely a 2 star. A very modest accommodation. The carpets are awfully stained, there was a noise from the aircon unit coming from outside the window. The ironing board was in a bad way.

Really disappointed with my stay. The room was very small for a double. Decor was dated and lacking maintenance with flaky paint and ceiling damage in the reception! Make sure you don't get a room looking out to the service courtyard as they is a large generator that loudly kicks in throughout the night!! Thanks for the 4am wake up call!!! Walls between rooms are thin so expect noise. Breakfast was poor and basic and some of the cooked breakfast was cold. Bar had only 2 of the 6 pumps working. As with other hotels there was a lack of staf so lack of attention/service Nice location is a plus.

I stayed here before back in 2018 in a standard room. Stayed here again for 9 nights in April 2022. Glad we paid a little more and booked the executive twin room as it was very quiet - we didn't hear a sound outside or from the room next door the whole stay. The room was also bigger than the standard rooms and had a much bigger bathroom. Our room also had a coffee machine and a fridge. Housekeeping could do with some improvements. The the refills of the coffee machine pods was hit and miss - some days they were forgotten altogether and the sheets were changed just once in the nine days. The breakfast is outstanding as is the breakfast staff. Nothing ran out. There was always a nice table available (admittedly we were always early) and the staff always pleasant. The front desk staff didn't engage with us at all in the whole nine days we were there - and we walked past the desk every day. No 'hellos' or any courtesy smiles or greetings. They all looked rather grumpy. The location really makes this place special - across the road from Hyde Park and the Italian gardens, short walk to Paddington station where many tube lines intersect and heaps of good pubs nearby, particularly the Victoria and The Mitre. There is also a laundromat a short walk away that does a service wash. Highly recommend the Corus - they just need attention to detail in a few places.

From the outside this hotel looks beautiful, the main lobby also looks lovely and inviting. When we got to our room however we were very disappointed. You could barely move in there. The bed felt like a small double and as the floor wasn’t carpet it moved a lot. Just sitting on the bed leaning back you would find yourself sliding across the room! It was comfortable though. The room was quite stuffy and the windows can be tricky to open, there were quite a few cobwebs around the window area too. The bathroom was clean and the shower was quite powerful. Plenty of coat hangers too. The breakfast was lovely and we couldn’t fault the staff at all. Location is perfect, a couple of mins to the nearest underground and lots of restaurants a short walk away. Overall a pleasant stay but I would say a little more tlc needed in cleanliness (particularly window areas). The bar area also closes very early too!
