Staff were extremely rude, one of them was smirking as I was making a complaint, the tap water in the room was warm, I asked for a bottle of water and was refused as I could only pay by card and not contactless from my phone. A bottle of Water was £.250 and a beer was £6.50. The room was disgusting as was the rest of the hotel. Don’t stay here it’s a shambles.

The hotel was overall was very disappointing. The hotel is not what it’s advertised as. the Corus fails at attaining the level of stars it’s being given. The room was unclean, dirty & dust everywhere. The Air con didnt work & Wifi was intermittent. Terrible experience attempting to check in to then find a tiny extremely shabby old fashioned box room. This place is so over priced and somehow looks decent online. Don’t be fooled. Overpriced rooms and lack of commitment to the agreed, the service and food is poor, a very bad experience and will not repeat again. I advise everyone not to deal with this hotel and this management.

I wanted to book afternoon tea at this hotel and every date was blocked when entering one person for a table. When I changed the booking to two people every date was available. What do they have against single people?

Definitely recommend the afternoon tea, really tasty. Nigel who served us was excellent. My husband who is vegetarian even got his own plate of sandwiches. Would definitely go back. Nice setting with a view into Hyde Park.

Had afternoon tea on a Groupon deal. Yes ok it was cheap and the food itself was ok but have to say the conservatory we sat in to eat our tea was filthy. The service was fine but it was just the overall uncleanliness of the eating area that really put us off. Definitely one for us to avoid in future.
