Dined here with friends at lunch-time. Quality of food and presentation very good, and service absolutely top class. Very professional, unobtrusive, well dressed, and polite staff. The only downside - hence my allocation of 4 stars instead of 5, concerns the price of drinks, for which you need a bank loan to fund. £4.00 for a glass of orange-juice; £3.50...

The historic building of County Hall is stunning and the loction amongst the best you can get in London with amazing views over the Thames. However the hotel rooms are aged and not up to standard any more for this price class. The Pool and Sauna area is large but also aged and can not compete with standards in this...

Dear Reviewer, Many thanks for your constructive review and I am glad you enjoyed our fantastic location. There is no valid explanation for the lack of attentiveness or indeed the levels of chlorine in our pool, which are checked continuously. Our sincere apologies for these. The hotel enhancements and revamp are at the forefront of our attention and we are...

The Marriott County Hall was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint. The location is really unbelievable. Right on the Thames at the London Eye. I had been to the London Eye before and never realized that the building there was a Marriott hotel. The hotel is a bit pricey, but it is all because of the incredible...

This large hotel complex is located at the end of Westminster Bridge and diagonally across from the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. It is only meters from London's Eye attraction and as such is ideally located, only a few minutes walk from Waterloo Station. It was originally the home for London's governing Council with its offices now turned into...

The concierge were very helpful. Christina, the breakfast concierge was outstanding. She remembered us from morning to morning, even brought us double cream for our coffee. We had excellent suggestions for fish and chips and an Indian restaurant.

We stayed at the County Hall Marriott the last week of March, and found it to be very nice. We loved the breakfast in the Gilray room. The Gilray bar was fantastic with the best service and bartenders! We had afternoon tea in the Library Room, with a great view... highly recommend. If you couldn't leave the hotel for any...

Having just returned from a 5 day visit to London, I had to write a review of the Marriott London County Hall. The hotel is located in an amazing location situated right outside entrance to the London Eye and just on the other side of the bridge from Big Ben and House of Parliament. Our room (334 and 335) had...

Staying in Southbank

Neighborhood Profile
Southbank
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
