Stayed last week due to working in the area. Staff were stand off ish , rooms were clean and covid safe. Need better parking facilities especially when it’s central London it gets busy and cramped up .
We are regular visitors to the Hilton Park Lane but due to lock-down it has a while since our last stay. We were very impressed with the warm welcome back which included some lovely Christmas treats in our room and a welcome back card from from the hotel manager. We stayed in a Park Lane suite on the 25th floor which was beautiful with wonderful views across Hyde Park and beyond. The suite was spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed an excellent cooked breakfast in the Podium restaurant and service and food quality was excellent in every way. Special thanks to Diana for such a warm welcome. We can't wait to return soon! Kevin and Richard
We returned to the Hilton for the first time in this strange year and we're greeted warmly and upgraded to the park lane suite- wow. Great customer care thanks. We needed to relax after a long year of hard work and Hilton perfectly delivered. We mostly ate in our suite enjoying the best room service food we've ever had. The breakfast fruit salad and strong coffee was wonderful sitting in our robes looking out over Hyde park. So restorative. Just loved all the staff and experience, wish we were still there. Perfect to park beneath with a parkopedia discount deal and perfect for walks by the Serpentine. Can't wait to return again
I found myself in stuck in London unexpectedly and had to book a hotel. So I chose Hilton, after all, I am a long standing HiltonHonors Member. I booked by phone, this turned out not to be quite as straight forward and easy as I expected, as the call centre handling my call seemed to be outside the UK. Eventually I got my booking. Because I just needed a stay for the night, I booked a straight Double Room with Kingsize Bed. We arrived late at night, at around 11 pm. The guy at check-in tried hard to sell us an upgrade, the first one costing us £ 600 more and when told that I would not spend that sort of money for just a night's sleep, he tried to convince me to pay £ 400 for a lesser upgrade. Eventually he got the message that I did not wish to pay more than the £ 300 that I had agreed for the room for the night. No mention was being made about the Executive Floor, although I thought that the lounge up there was available for all HHonors Members. Perhaps not. Other than that, my stay for the night was pleasant, the room on the 23rd floor had fantastic views over London, was decent in size, and clean. The only slight criticism would be the empty Mini-Bar, but this is probably a sign of Covid-19 rules. Breakfast was decent, checkout would have been easy if not for the long wait to be served, although there was nobody in front of us, but the two ladies behind the counter seemed to be preoccupied on the phones before finally serving us. The last drawback was the parking, when I found that I had to pay £ 50 to park my car in the Hotel Car park over night.…
The staff were so friendly and welcoming: with Prosecco on arrival, free upgrades to an executive room with a city view, and champagne in the room. The room was beautiful and immaculately clean, the cocktails in the rooftop bar were beautiful, and overall the experience was fantastic. I have already re-booked simply for the fantastic customer service and look forward to visiting in March and trying the restaurant too.
