Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.

Excellent location and fantastic views of either Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace or the London Eye, depending on availability. There was only availability for Hyde Park, which was great in any case. Clean albeit a bit smallish room, but ok. Good, friendly check in service, open about the preferred views and availabilities. Ok breakfast, not too many choices. Very poor check out. No one was available to check me out (I was alone in line at 7:30Am). I left for breakfast and came back at 8AM to wait another 10 minutes, alone, while the only receptionist was not minding me (nor anyone else sine I was the only one in line). Very surprising and disappointing.

Anytime you visit a foreign country things get complicated, expensive and things can be over the top!! Now is the perfect time to visit London. The pound is down, the dollar gets you more for your money and this hotel is still great! Wake up to breakfast in the executive lounge or restaurant (try the english sausages) each morning! A little disappointed they no longer serve smoked salmon at breakfast like many of the other Hiltons but?? Easy commute to the airport on the tube with no stairs, about 5 pounds. Get an Oyster card! I read the one or two negative reviews and wonder what they are talking about. The people are great! The location is perfect and if you have a problem with your room they will get you another. What more can you ask??

Stayed in this old property again after 10 years. Indeed rooms have been renovated. This was the 1st Hilton in the UNK so it has indeed a lot of history. As a Honors Diamond member did not get any upgrade and neither any VIP amenity which was very unusual. Not even some simple fruit. The lounge access is great and we decided to have there breakfast better than the main restaurant in the lobby, where service is very cold, many trainees and overall not very attentive staff. I liked the Gluten free stations at breakfast both restaurants lobby and lounge. Very well thought. The happy hour on the lounge on LV1 was great with good selection of 3 white and 3 red wines and 3 beers. That is unusual for a Hilton in Europe. Reception staff very friendly and rooms very clean. Daily refill of plenty of water.

I stayed at the hotel, attended a conference and had food there. Things were first class. Highly recommend this place for any kind of functions. Totally worth the price and looking forward to being there again

I visited London for the weekend and see a concert in Hyde Park so the location of the Hilton looked perfect. As I expected the location is excellent however the hotel itself was very disappointing. As a gold member I was upgraded ! But room was very noisy the walls must be so thin I heard every conversation from next room as well as tv / toilet .... I was next to a lift so constant noise at night . The restaurant was dark / old fashioned and breakfast very basic . Service throughout the hotel was varied some lovely staff and some just not interested . I won’t be back and for me just not value for money .
