As always, great hospitality. Haven’t been here since Covid-19, but still top notch service, especially in the breakfast area - Najat, Yiming and Luisa. Definitely some talent in the hotelier industry. Also to mention Mr. Abdel who is always so caring and welcoming. It’s my 60th stay in this hotel. Coming back in May!
This is a fantastic Hilton hotel. The staff are excellent: professional, friendly and helpful. The whole hotel is well kept. Our room on the Executive floor had an extremely comfortable bed, great cupboard and wardrobe space and a spacious bathroom. The view over Hyde Park was the icing on the cake. The Exec Lounge is currently closed but the Podium Bar is being used instead. The selection of drinks and snacks was great. I used the gym - there is a good range of equipment including free weights. Breakfast had something for everyone and items available to order. Some of the best breakfast service we've experienced in terms of replenishment and cleanliness. The one niggle of our stay was that we booked a late check out, but our key cards expired not once, but twice. Reception staff resolved this, but it was a pain to return to our room after breakfast and find we couldn't get in and again when we returned to collect our bags shortly before the agreed check out time.…
This morning, I was welcomed by a lovely team of 3 wonderful waitresses; Fern, Serry and Luisa. From the minute I entered, to the minute I have left, they have provided me with nothing, but exceptional hospitality. They have catered to my and my son’s needs thoroughly, and have never left our side. I was due for an orange juice refill, and before I knew it, Fern had come over by me, and poured me some in a glass. Top hospitality, and top staff!
This used to be my favorite hotel. Its a great location and the views from the top floors are great. The executive lounge is good too if you are granted access. BUT my room upgrade on the "executive floor" was very very rundown, dirty and in dire need of a refurbishment. I would hate to see what the yet to be refurbished rooms looked like. There was rust in the shower, dirt stains on the carpet and the wood furniture had big wear marks. This I was told their refurbish room on the executive floor on 18. Honestly, I love the location but the hotel is very dated and I would only stay again if it was a super cheap deal,
Wonderful hotel, very comfortable, clean and warm room. The staff are excellent, and give exceptional service. Just a note this hotel may be thought of as expensive, but you are in the centre of London, and it compares well with other hotels of this standard.
This was always a 3 star hotel at 5 star prices. But we have stayed there a number of times over the years because it was so conveniently located above one of our old family favourites...Trader Vics. Now...Hilton have seen fit to evict Trader Vics....for reasons best known only to themselves. So now....why would anyone pay £500 a night for a room that is little (if ANY) better than a Premier Inn? I can assure you that *I* never will again.
Thank you so much to Serry, Eloide and the breakfast team for taking care of us during our visit. Love the vegan choices and delicious coffee with oat milk. It makes such a difference when travelling and definitely adds to a more comfortable and relaxing stay. Top job from the staff - thanks again and see you all in October.
This hotel is tremendously overpriced. When we got there, toiletries hadn’t been filled Andover the course of a week we never did succeed in getting any shower gel no matter how many times we complained. The fridge wasn’t plugged in and when we pulled it out to try to connect it, it was full of rotting food and had so much dust around it that it was an obvious fire hazard. Once the staff turned it on, we found it turned off again later. Thankfully we only had some cheese in it. Staff never could figure out that my husband and I had different last names so I was greeted incessantly by the wrong name despite my name being on the check in information and reservation. Constant drama at breakfast— usually had to ask four people minimum to get a pot of tea, and major drama about seating you as if putting you at a table in a basically empty restaurant entails the level of planning required for D-Day. They only put nonfat milk out for cereal. At one point I asked for cream for something and a waiter told me they have no cream anywhere in the hotel. No cream, which is what goes with COFFEE, in a hotel of this supposed caliber? He was wrong (unsurprising). At breakfast, you should expect any work you’re doing to be interrupted by staff, typically pushing you to eat an omelette. The rooms are hot as hell and the temperature controls don’t work. They do not enforce no smoking rules, so you will be breathing secondhand smoke. Frankly, I wanted a refund of at least several hundred pounds. Their answer to every complaint was to send a plate of fruit and wine, even though we told them repeatedly that we do not drink alcohol as we are recovering alcoholics. Just awful. Stay at a B&B by Russell Square at least then you’ll get a decent pot of tea without having to beg for it— and perhaps with something that isn’t nonfat milk.…
Stayed for 2 night on the executive floor, had read a few mixed reviews ahead of our stay and was concerned that the product might be a little tired and equally the ongoing refurbishment might cause issue. However we were very pleasantly surprised, the hotel areas which have been refurbished (exec lounge) are looking great and I have to make a special mention to Rhani (breakfast server in the main restaurant) who was an absolute delight, warm, welcoming friendly, probably the most genuine warm service I have received at Hilton in quite some time (as a Diamond Member we do over 30 stays per year across the brands) We look forward to returning and seeing the refurbishment complete.
The hotel is in a great location at the bottom of Park Lane and walking distance to Knightsbridge and Oxford Street. The entrance is currently at the back of the hotel due to construction work, there is a doorman at the front who will point you in the right direction. Check in was so friendly and the glass of Prosecco on arrival is a lovely touch. The room was large and clean with a lovely view. The furniture and carpet are tired and could do with being replaced. The bathroom was clean, apart from some mould around the sink and bath. Robes and slippers are provided and there is also a good sized mini fridge you can store your own drinks/snacks in. The air con was excellent. Lovely views across London and it is extremely quiet. The condition of the room/bathroom is the only reason why this is a 4* and not a 5* review.…
