The London Hilton on Park Lane is lauded for its comprehensive amenities and stunning views, as well as a welcoming atmosphere that blends modern touches with attentive service. Nestled in a central location, it offers easy access to London's attractions. While rooms generally receive praise for cleanliness and comfort, some guests note issues with size and maintenance.
Opinions on value and service show a divide; high prices and inconsistent experiences occasionally mar satisfaction. Nonetheless, the hotel's overall cleanliness is consistently commended.

Detailed Reviews
Hotel's Favorite
The London Hilton Hotel at Park Lane is truly one of the best hotels around the Globe. Its location is absolutely stunning, right in the heart of London, opposite Hyde Park. What better setting when visiting the Capital of London. From your hotel room you can view all the sights, Buckingham Palace, The Shard, London Eye, Houses of Parliament. You are 10 minutes or so away from the vibrant Green Park/Piccadilly Circus, theatres and cool restaurants, bars and great shopping at Fortnum & Mason. Which also houses a great bar and fabulous eateries throughout its store. The Hotel staff were so helpful and accommodating, but particular thanks goes to Stan. He looked after us so well, he was helpful and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Also Mryam in the executive lounge, kind and courteous. On arrival, welcome glass of fizz, gorgeous suite. Beautiful toiletries, towels. If you book here make sure you book a room with executive lounge access, you will not be disappointed. The food, whatever time you visit, breakfast, lunch or canapes at 5pm, you will not be disappointed. Whatever you do, don't miss out on a drink in Galvins. restaurant and bar on 28th floor of the hotel, the views are to die for.

I'm probably a little biased as I've stayed at this hotel numerous times but our last stay was one of the best yet. Management (particularly Abdel, the Guest Relations Manager) were very visible around the hotel and the staff - whether they were at reception, in the restaurant at breakfast or the housekeeping staff - were even more upbeat and engaging than usual and all looking for ways to help or make our stay more enjoyable. Rooms were really well cleaned, breakfast (quality and choice) is one of the best I've had anywhere and the location and views from higher rooms are as good as you can get in London. Well done to Abdel and his team - we will certainly be back.

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights at the end of February. It was my second stay and my partner's first. The hotel is conveniently located a short taxi ride away from Paddington Station and a 5-10 minute walk to Hyde Park Corner and Green Park tube stations.
The staff at the door, throughout the lobby and at reception were very friendly. We were served a glass of prosecco on arrival as my partner is a Diamond Honours member, which was a lovely touch.
We were given a complimentary upgrade to a King Executive room on the 23rd floor which provided us with a lovely spacious and airy room near the top of the hotel, guaranteeing an incredible view over Mayfair and for miles around. The room was clean, with plenty of storage and the bathroom was enormous with plenty of toiletries. The bed was extremely comfortable - as it usually is with Hilton - and we slept well on both nights.
Each evening, we took advantage of the executive lounge, currently at the Podium restaurant downstairs. The bar is well stocked with wines, spirits and soft drinks as well as snacks such as crisps, cakes and afternoon tea treats like scones and clotted cream. Staff are also on hand to assist.
There was a good selection at breakfast. The hot buffet was great, the food tasted fresh and there were chicken/turkey sausages and bacon which is wonderful for those of us who don't eat pork. Scrambled eggs were available each morning but staff offered poached/fried if requested. There were plenty of pastries, breads, cheeses, fruits, vegetables and cereal to choose from and everything we had tasted fresh and not like it had been sat out for several hours like in many hotels. Staff were quick to take orders for hot drinks and to clear the table of any used plates.
Our stay for 2 nights came to a total of £413.00 which is ideal considering the location and the level of service provided at the hotel. Staff are incredibly helpful and cannot do enough to make sure your stay is perfect. I will always recommend this hotel and can't wait to stay again.

Before the review, I need to declare that I am a regular at Hilton properties and have Diamond status in their frequent guest program but as anyone who has seen my reviews previously, I am just as quick to write about a bad experience at a Hilton as a good one.
Declaration over, this was a very nice stay. It was my first hotel stay with my wife since the lockdown restrictions were eased.
Check in was simple and straightforward and I was told that I could have the room that I had booked immediately or if We were prepared to wait then they would be able to upgrade us to a suite. Naturally, we were happy to wait as we were going out of tea anyway so it was not a problem.
We were indeed upgraded to a very nice suite which was on the 24th floor and it gave us a magnificent view of Hyde Park and beyond.
Service was very good, our luggage was already in our room when we got there and the staff were all wearing masks and there were plenty of sanitising stations in the lobby and around the hotel.
A special shout out to Abdul, one of the guest relations team, who never seems to forget a face even if it is behind a mask as I was. He said he was delighted to see me again and that he was delighted to have us back in the hotel. He has been there for years and is much loved and trusted by guests and colleagues alike. He is super attentive without being sycophantic and he always has a smile and a kind word.
This hotel is not cheap, but not obnoxiously expensive either and I will definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it to others.

For a more premium priced hotel, there are some things that were done really well, e.g. preparation for check in, being given Prosecco to celebrate our anniversary whilst waiting, but a couple of things that went less well... we were told 35 minutes for our room to be ready, so thought we'd wait, however after this time the room still wasn't ready, so we decided to leave our bags and head out for the day.
It was actually hours later when we got a text to say the room was actually ready, and we'd been led to believe it was taking longer because they were making it special for our celebration, however there was nothing we spotted in the room beyond the standard experience...
The room however, was lovely - clean, very spacious, great view, very comfortable bed.
Dinner at Trader Vic's was very tasty, however service wasn't particularly attentive.
Service at cocktails at 10 degrees bar were good - we'd been told reservations weren't possible, but somehow another group had managed to reserve a window seat - we were sat in the centre of the room, but overall still a nice experience.
Was good to see a maskless guest in the lobby who was wandering around whilst talking on a mobile phone be handed a mask to wear.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay, just a couple of smaller details that you'd expect to be managed better in a premium hotel.

After what seemed forever, we treated ourselves to a weekend in London. As a special treat I booked an executive king room for us with lounge access. I am a silver member with Hilton and have therefore used their facilities before. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We were not particularly impressed by our room. This is a luxury hotel but the room was smaller and far less impressive than a Holiday Inn express i recently stayed in. It really didn't have any wow factor and felt very basic. Even the tv didn't work properly and kept losing signal, but we were not going to be watching it much anyway. There was a door to an adjoining room and we could hear everything next door. No matter, we wouldn't be in the room for long as we had shopping and dinner planned for the evening. So off to the lounge for sandwiches and cakes with a coffee for the energy to shop til we drop. I was aware there were some current changes to service and the lounge was relocated to the ground floor restaurant. No sandwiches available unless we paid extra. Really? All we were offered were a small flapjack, one of those little packs of 2 biscuits you get next to your kettle in your room, although there were actually none in our room, and a small bag of minstrels. Again...Really? Needless to say we went out for a sandwich. Extremely disappointing for the money we paid. We got back quite late. Our room was on the 21st floor but could still hear traffic and sirens, so very poor soundproofing. But that was nothing compared to the noise INSIDE the hotel. On our floor we could hear doors repeatedly slamming, women shouting at each other and constant loud conversations. This was at 02.30 and went on for over half an hour ! We were told the next morning that hotel security had to deal with several individuals on our floor, but only after I complained! No apology before I mentioned it. We really did not enjoy our stay here, and it wasn't cheap. A small amount was removed from our bill but this didn't really compensate for our 'treat' trip being well below the standards we expected. Can't recommend this hotel based on this stay and it certainly wasn't value for money, though once again I must add that the staff were excellent. Maybe time for me to dig out my other loyalty cards. Very unimpressed

We stayed for 2 nights, one of which was a complimentary night as a result of membership of an elite club.
Check in was slow and whilst we did not expect our rooms to be ready when we arrived at 12 midday, we failed to receive the promised text when our room was ready.
Our room key cards were deactivated after the first 24 hours as the booking was deemed to be 2 separate bookings! We were not warned at check in, that this would occur (although they clearly knew) and consequently were locked out late after the first night. This was ridiculous and inconvenient and is poor customer experience.
Our room was cold despite turning the thermostat to 25’. The towel rail was hanging at an angle and clearly not secure (room 911).
The loud music in the expensive bar on the 28th floor precludes any normal conversation. The service in the aforementioned bar was really slow and poor - the staff member who served us on 4th December was clearly new and we had to repeat our order 3 times. Then the whisky I wanted was not available (ardbeg).
The atmosphere and service in Trader Vic’s was great although the food is not cheap. We ate in the restaurant and in the bar; the bar menu was inaccurate - we ordered a dish served on the hibachi at the table but it arrived cold and we were told the flame was not allowed due to fire risk - so why is the menu not adjusted?
COVID precautions were not great. We realise that mask wearing in the hospitality sector is not mandatory at the moment, many of the staff who wore masks failed to cover their nose or even wore them around their neck which is pointless. This is quite apart from the number of guests who completely failed to wear any mask and allow their children to noisily climb on the stairs in the podium restaurant at breakfast.
Overall I don’t think the hotel justifies the price

Visited here for a couple of nights and I must confessed I was a bit shocked, I have been here many times on business meetings and the hotel has been buzzing but sadly it today is not, it’s very quiet, only one resteraunt open , jewellery shop closed , and it’s a shadow if it’s former self all because Of the time we are in , not withstanding that, we booked in and were offered an upgrade which was nice and appreciated.
The hotel has survived on foreign visitors which today it no longer gets, but will no doubt get again, the hotel is still majestic and professional as ever with a wonderful smell as you arrive , a sweet perfume no doubt through the air system embraces your nostrils and gives great delight, I would recommend a visit here today as whilst it’s quiet , a magic is here as it’s unusual .
The location of the hotel is great with a cross over the road to Hyde park, a fifteen minute walk to Buckingham palace,
A ten minute walk to great eating venues in shepherds market makes this hotel now a great short break venue.
The porters that used to greet me are no longer there because of the times but I am sure they will return,
We stayed here as we cancelled our holiday abroad due to restrictions so decided to tour the uk instead and stay with luxury
This hotel was great for location and style, the executive room we stayed in had a great view of Buckingham palace and rather than curtains we had an electric blind which we could close, but imagine going to sleep looking out of a huge window over London at night illuminated, why would you miss that .
Car parking at the hotel is 50 quid a night not cheap but hey I am in London and at a great location , yes sure it’s a bit dear but convenient and like my cat I want my car near me , it’s my comfort blanket .
Cracking hotel , cracking location, hope the visitors come back

Just returned from the Hilton on Park Lane and felt I had to write this review. We are lucky that we can travel regularly and have stopped in many great hotels around the world. I never bother writing reviews and maybe I should! The reason I’m writing this is we have just had our faith in Hilton hotels restored thanks to the excellent service we have just experienced.
In July we stayed at the Hilton in Malta for a full month which was our fifteenth visit to this hotel and the service was terrible and it was so obvious that they were cutting corners and recruiting under qualified staff and management ( there are still some great team members there and they know who they are!! ).This year was totally different to other visits but this review is not about the poor experience in Malta and more about the excellent experience at Hilton Park Lane.
So, arrived at Park lane and was greeted by Benny on reception who made us feel welcome and made sure we had everything we needed and if we needed anything else we just let him know. ( Should be standard in 5 star hotels but not always the case )
The room was on the executive floor with a great view of Hyde park from the 18th floor and we had bottled water delivered to the room on a daily basis ( this used to happen in Hilton Malta but now they have a tap in the bathroom for water yuk!!)
The executive lounge on Park lane had the best choice of food, snacks and drinks in any Hilton we have stayed in and the staff were very attentive and helpful.
We had breakfast every morning downstairs in the main restaurant and again, the food, staff and service was excellent.
At this point I would like to say thanks to all the staff who really did make us feel welcome all throughout our stay but a big mention and special thanks must go to Nevada ( yes that’s his name and how cool is that ) who looked after us every morning at breakfast and really engaged with us and genuinely showed interest in how we were enjoying our stay in the hotel, how things were going with our trip to London and suggesting things for us to do and being genuine and interested in us and so very helpful. Well done Nevada, keep up the great work and we will see you again soon!
This might be a coincidence but the general manager of the Hilton Park lane is a guy called Matthew who used to be the General Manager of the Hilton Malta until recently so maybe that’s a sign and he has brought what used to be great in Malta to Park lane.

Very disappointed in this Hilton property. The staff was awesome however, especially Danny at the front desk. The room, however, was just rather tatty. The drapes in the bedroom were ripped/torn, There was a tear in the desk chair seat. The temperature/fan controls for the room comfort were 2 knobs. The fan went from OFF to GALE FORCE as the lowest setting, and then up from there. I had to rig up deflectors as we wanted some air circulation in the bedroom but not blowing cold air all night. The temp controls, went from COLD to stuffy in too settings. No happy medium there, but only in the bedroom. The sitting room was just stuffy. Housekeeping was bizarre. Our room wasn't serviced the first day, and we had to ask for it that evening when we had returned. They did come, but sort of did a half assed job. The coffee service has unidentified generic capsules so you don't really know if you're making decaf or real coffee or what it 's supposed to be. We asked the front desk again to ensure we were sericed the 2nd day. Even not replenishing the soap seemed odd and overly cheap, especially for the price the rooms go for!!! I would NOT stay here again. Hilton needs to up their game a bit at this property to bring it up to standards. A lamp in sitting room sits all wobbly and leaning over and should be fixed/replaced. Nothing was "terrible" and we did have quick and timely responses to everything, thanks to front desk and also concierge! So, that was good. Perhaps this was an overly busy week for them while we were there? They did recognize our honeymoon with a very small bottle of prosecco and 2 lovely desserts, which was nice. But they need to pay attention to the smaller stuff soon.

No free shuttle since LHR is a good 40 minutes away. If you arrange transport with them, it will be expensive. Suggest you either take an Uber or Taxi if you want to get there by road.
Cheaper options are trains and the cheapest option is underground but would not recommend this option if you have large luggage
