This hotel is competitively priced. I have stayed several times - please see my review “Leisurely Value” (26 September 2014) and "Value by the Park" (February 2016). The Hotel has a good location next to Hyde Park / Kensington Gardens and close to Central and Circle underground lines and bus stops for buses for Oxford Street / Bond St shopping....

Very helpful on arrival. Great location and lovely clean fresh rooms. Food is good and reasonably priced. Very close to Queensway subway and local pubs and restaurants. Overall a nice hotel albeit a little on the pricey side @£220 per night.

I found this hotel to be quite pleasant. The staff was very professional, the room was clean and well appointed and it has restaurant attached to it. Note: it does not have an executive lounge. Additionally, it is very well situated in a very nice part of London. There are 2 Central Line Tube stations about equa-distance from the hotel:...

Dear MesaSB Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback after your stay with us. I am glad that you had a good time - as per your note in nearly all DoubleTree by Hiltons we do not have Executive Lounges. It is one of the differing standards from that of Hilton hotels. We look forward to welcoming...

Stayed here many times on business. The hotel is well situated near Paddington and Oxford Street. The rooms are small but tastefully decorated and comfortable, especially the beds. Hyde Park is opposite the hotel with the Diana memorial nearby. The hotel staff are pleasant and helpful. Breakfast and dinner are good served in a dining room with good views of...

This hotel sits right on Hyde park and its entrance is on a side street, not Bayswater Road. The reception staff are friendly and efficient and the hotel well kept. Rooms are on the smallish side, with newer batrooms and a Nespresso coffee machine. Those facing Bayswater road will get some noise from traffic, ambulances etc. Breakfast is abundant, in...

The moment I stepped in we faced bad experience with the receptionist who was extremely rude n I felt she was racist. Well we are Asian couple travelling n booked our hotel with hotels.com.. N she couldn't find our booking n the way she spoke to us was extremely rude. Then we entered the room n the carpet was wet!...

Picked this hotel due to its location - it is not far on the bus to marble arch/oxford circus. The rooms were great, so comfortable and spacious. We had a drink on the terrace outside and that was nice. The whole experience was value for money and I would want to return!

We have stayed here before and we were not disappointed again. The rooms were clean and well equipped. The in room coffee was great. The breakfast was very good. The area is amazing....being within a block of Hyde Park. The only disappointing thing that we found was that we had to clear out of the outside patio restaurant by 9:30....

Stayed here for a week it was a good hotel and in a great location for Hyde/Kensington Gardens (both being across the road) and a half hour walk to Oxford Street or a 2 minute tube ride. Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
