Just returned from London.Booked this via another website package which gave us a good deal. We arrived at Victoria station after flying in from Gatwick. We checked distance from station to hotel around 3 miles, if you are travelling light you could walk through Hyde Park during the day but not at night plus the gates are usually locked.Good transport links...

Stayed on busines, no parking but was able to park in the pay and display for free after a certain time, it is expensive but your paying for the location as its a 10 min walk from Marble Arch and Oxford St. Rooms a good size, clean and a comfy bed. I would use the hotel for a busines stay...

Stayed here on business and got an extremely good online rate. The hotel is in a really quiet road so no traffic noise, but beware the front facing rooms if you like it dark as the hotel has fierce floodlighting - even with the heavy curtains drawn it was quite light in there. Some rooms are right opposite the lifts,...

Stayed in this hotel from 8th Feb to 10th Feb. It is in an excellent location - not even 5 minutes walk from Lancaster Gate tube station (central line) and 2 minutes from Hyde Park. We walked to the museums and then Harrods before moving on to Buckingham Palace. Lots of nice buildings and cars in the area too. The...

Hordes of tour groups crowd the lobby and breakfast room, the bedroom was very small, and there isn't much soundproofing between rooms. The bar staff is unprofessional and even a little surly. I saw reservation sheets for other guests, which were left open for viewing on the reception desk, and the average price paid per night in mid-February 2013 was...

Great location! Rooms were small but clean, a double bed was two single mattresses pushed together making a ridge in the middle, not comfy at all. Make sure if you have a lot of baggage that you request a room near the elevator. Unfortunately our room was not, down a hall way up three stairs, down the hall through a...

After numerous trips to London, and disappointment after disappointment on the hotel front, we arrived at the Lancaster Gate not expecting a great deal, and I'm pleased to say that they bucked the trend. The staff were very welcoming and courteous upon our arrival and throughout our stay. It was excellent value for money and the breakfast, which was included...

The bar prices were expensive but that was as we were from Manchester and its cheaper up here. . The lifts in the hotel...

Got a great last minute deal on a family room from Expedia and was interested to see how this hotel would turn out. Was pleasantly surprised. Our room was in the basement level but a lovely size with three very comfortable beds. It was very quiet, little outside noise from other guests or the street. I think we were in...
