Great location within an easy walk to many sites, restaurants, bars, shopping, and Tube.
Check-in was easy. The hotel staff were fabulous, all about the guest experience. The hotel has four swift lifts. Unfortunately, the hallways were carpeted, making it difficult to roll luggage.
The room was large enough, quiet, well appointed and comfortable with a lovely blend of dark wood and light walls, and it was nicely lit. The bed was super comfortable and had non-feather pillow options--great for allergy sufferers. Unfortunately, the mattress edge sloped; I hoped I wouldn't roll right off the bed & onto the floor during my sleep. Each side of the bed had a nightstand with power outlets--perfect for two people to charge devices at bedside. Strangely, the room had an adjoining room door with a substantial gap & I could hear every phone call the guest next door made, and he could surely hear me; while drying my hair upside down I noticed that I could see a sliver into his room, which means he could see the same into my room. Creepy! Thankfully there wasn't a guest there every night of my stay. Some weatherstripping would at least solve any peeping concerns. The room had a minibar, electronically controlled & charged to your bill, so you can't move anything to refrigerate your own items; it would have been nicer to have a mini fridge to store my own items. The room had a coffeemaker, electric tea kettle, iron, and ironing board.
The bathroom was very small but had a large shower (only). The shower water pressure was good and the hot water stayed hot. I loved the on/off push-button shower control. The towels were large and thick. The washcloths and the lighted wall-mounted magnifying mirror we're both very nice touches.
The bar was nice but on one night was closed for a corporate event. The WiFi was strong and protected (yay!). I would happily stay here again.

The Park Lane Intercontinental is one of my favorite hotels in the world. Truly “world Class”.
From the moment I arrive the friendly door staff greet me by name and assist with my luggage. As a Diamond tier member I am greeted again at check in and upgraded. Amenities are waiting for me in my room along with a note from the manager. Time to settle into the bar for a cocktail and some small bites. The food here is very very good. And the selection is outstanding. I always make it a point to book the Club Floor lounge. One of the finest in the IHG universe. With customized breakfast offerings and a fine buffet. And never miss a chance to dine at Theo Randall. One of my favorite Italian restaurants in London. All in all a fantastic home away from home while on business. Thank you to all my friends at The Park Lane Intercontinental.

The staff were really friendly and helpfully in assisting us throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the cleanliness of the room and the everyday focus to make sure that he had everything we needed, twice a day. Also we really enjoyed the central location which gave us the possibility to enjoy great morning walks/runs in Hyde Park and at the same time to walk in premium locations with 15’ Overall great accommodation experience and we will definitely go back soon.

The Intercontinental Park Lane is one of those rare ‘Jewel of a Hotel’ located in one of the best areas in London which allows us to walk to just about anywhere in central London. The rooms are beautifully decorated, comfortable with beautiful views of the park, the bathrooms and the walk-in shower are large and always spotless. However, the hotel’s greatest assets are the staff, from the welcoming, smiling doormen, to management, front desk and housekeeping, they all go out of their way to greet us warmly, mostly by name, making sure that we have all that we need and feel at home. The concierge is as knowledgeable as you will ever find and always ready to assist when needed. One of the highlights for us is the Club on the 7th floor, definitely the best of any Intercontinental we’ve ever stayed, the staff in very personable, great a la carte breakfast menu in addition to a huge buffet, afternoon tea that we always look forward to and evening drinks and canapes. We highly recommend.

My husband, daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Intercontinental Park Lane. From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, the staff could not do enough for us. The doormen, concierge team and reception were so welcoming.
As my daughter is a wheelchair user, we shared an accessible room on the 4th floor with wetroom. The facilities, cleanliness and comfort more than exceeded our expectations. Housekeeping made a courtesy call by the room to see if we needed anything, which was a lovely touch and showed how guest focused the hotel staff are. We enjoyed a fabulous breakfast next morning which was served in the Theo Randall room. The quality of produce was excellent, as was the attentive service.
The hotel offers so much for anyone wanting to experience a 5 star stay in a great location with exemplary customer service, cleanliness and comfort.

A wonderful annual tradition staying with my mother in law - 89 and seeing the carol service at the RAC on Pall Mall. Such a nice way to kick start the Christmas festivities.
Fab room and wonderful service as always in the Club Lounge. the breakfast is such a treat there.
And dinner after champagne in the lounge at Theo's restaurant. Amazing Calamari and pasta. Theo was kind enough to say hello making my Mother in Law's day.
Back for one more visit before the holidays and looking forward to it already. Travel

Diamond Elite Member- Staying for two nights on a reward stay. I had made my booking and used a Suite Upgrade Voucher I had earnt with my membership and status. The stay used around 180,000 points.
Arrival, as usual was friendly and helpful with very good door staff who immediately took our bags. Check in was not so good for us and coloured the quality of our stay from the moment we arrived really. My status was recognised, but instead of getting an upgrade the young lady who checked me in began what I can only describe as a tirade of 'hard sell' to get me to purchase an ambassador membership for $200. I can get an ambassador membership for 40,000 points if I wish but have never elected to do so as the benefits for me would be minimal. The check in lady said I could have an 'extra' upgrade if I signed up to be an ambassador. I pointed out that my status meant I should enjoy an automatic upgrade anyway, and upgradable rooms were available because I had checked prior to arrival. To make matter worse, this member of staff had limited knowledge of the benefits of ambassador status and refused to listen to my request for a room upgrade from the one booked. Overall I was deeply disappointed by check in which I usually find a very pleasant experience at this hotel.
The room (a junior suite) was ok, but very dated. An awkward TV angle, made the TV hard to see, and a tiny bathroom with a leaky shower head did little to impress. This is a five-star hotel but I was disappointed to see that no fresh milk was in the fridge, something that hotels lower down the food chain can manage! Sleep was OK, bed comfortable. The room was not memorable at all, and I felt like I had wasted my upgrade voucher, something I had worked hard to earn.
As a diamond Elite Member I have lounge access. The lounge on the 7th floor is well appointed and has a good offering, but I noticed a little skimping , for example orange juice from a carton, not freshly squeezed. Plates took a long time to be cleared and there was some lacking in attention to detail in a few other areas. Otherwise, it’s a nice enough, fairly quiet lounge with a 5 star offering including Moet champagne during the canapes in the early evening. Feeling a little underwhelmed we vacated early on Sunday morning when we would normally stay for lunch.

Response from IHG Service, Owner at InterContinental London Park Lane, an IHG hotel
Responded Oct 12, 2024
Dear Ed I, Thank you for selecting our InterContinental London Park Lane and for providing feedback about your experience. It's a pleasure having you as our Diamond Elite member. I am truly sorry you did not experience an exemplary stay due to the comfort and maintenance of our room. This is certainly below our usual high standard of service. Please be certain that I have noted and forwarded your feedback for the management to improve. In the middle of your experience, I am glad our room's cleanliness and the hotel's location were still appreciated. Please grant us the opportunity to prove ourselves again. Best Regards, Ben W. After the disappointment that we had not booked the club room (as it’s different from any other intercontinental hotel I’ve ever stayed before as it’s extra ? ) Ehdaq on reception was very understanding and helped placate the situation and reassured. us that we had a lovely room and that we would still have a great stay. she was correct as the room was great and had a great view of Hyde park. We used the spa on the 1st floor with a lovely sound bath which was a great experience and highly recommended too, so overall we had a great stay . I love the intercontinental hotels as I find they offer a really personalised service and this was not different so thanks for a lovely stay in London.

This is a great hotel in a prime location, just across from Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park and it's an easy walk to Bond and Oxford streets and to Green Park tube station (on the Piccadilly line which goes to Heathrow). Our room was cosy (small) but clean and comfortable with high quality finishes. We didn't eat in the restaurant but did have room service one night which was very pricey but delicious. Breakfast was very good (included in our IHG membership tier) and the staff at breakfast were particularly friendly. One thing I wasn't so pleased about was the smell and noise of dogs staying in the hotel. It's not something I expected and I might have thought twice about booking here had I known. To be clear, I like dogs but I'm allergic to them and particularly sensitive to the smell that was evident in the hallways. And there was one dog staying on our floor that seemed to be barking constantly - perhaps left behind by owners? I'm just glad that room was not near our own.

We stayed here for one night in a quick stopover. We caught the tube as it is very close to Hyde Park Corner. Upon seeing us walk up the drive with our luggage the doorman rushed down to help and was so kind. At checkin we received an upgrade to a newly renovated room and received two drinks vouchers as it was the first time we had stayed at the hotel. The room was luxurious with a nice view and we had nice welcome chocolates. All the staff were so friendly, helpful and the hotel is in a great location. Amazing!
