I was lucky enough to eat at The Terrace with my son as part of Chef Philli's 3 month residency. The food was insanely good and the service was the best I have ever experienced. Angelo in particular was fantastic, so knowledgeable about the concept of the menu and the wine. I hope to go back soon.

I booked this hotel for a weekend away with my mother. From the moment we walked in the door we were greated with friendly smiles and "welcome back" as I had stayed here only two months before which was a simple but meaningful touch. We arrived around 11am after almost 26 hours awake between working and travelling and the girl on reception Carla I think her name was couldnt have been nicer. She checked us in to a beautiful roomw without making a huge fuss even though we were there a few hours early before official check in. I must give a special mention to Alejandro as he was just exceptional during our stay. He really is a credit to the hotel and working in hospitality front office myself he is definitly a staff member the hotel should hold on to. He frequently asked us about our stay, how we slept, what were our plans for the day etc. He seemed to be geniunly interested aswell and asking out of geniune interest and not just because it is his job. I can see him going far in the hospitality industry

Of all the things to rate for a hotel, I would say their level and speed of service were impressive compared to other international hotels where I have stayed. Once I needed a chair switched out because it was a bit short for the desk, and another time the bed had a broken leg that the maids did not notice. Both times, these issues were dealt with quickly and without any fuss. -The location is fabulous. Walking distance to Hyde Park, lots of restaurants, pubs and shops and two main subway stations. And always there are cabs ready at the front. -We were there on the hottest days in UK history, and certainly, the AC struggled to keep up, but it was still quite cool, relatively speaking. -The breakfast bar, part of our cost, was spectacular. All types of breakfast imaginable. I took advantage of the omelette service several times. -The bed and linens were fantastic. The mattress was just soft and hard enough, and we did not wake each other when the other moved. -Every morning, the maids tidied the rooms and also provided a quick tidy in the evening when we wanted it. -I worked in what looked like a business centre, which also doubled as a seating/waiting area, which wasn't great. There really is no area in the lobby for people to wait, other than the side restaurants where one would have to purchase food or drink. That was a small downside, particularly for people who are tired and waiting for their room check-in. -The only other negatives, since this is, after all, a review, is for the cost of the room; it was a bit dated and odd. So much dark wood veneer that had seen better days. We also had a pelaton in one corner that took up a lot of space and was not hooked up to any subscription, an odd semi-round couch that was not particularly comfortable, a plug-in for the bathroom that did not accommodate the hair-dryer, a very difficult shower tap (impossible to turn without the aid of a towel), and numerous people knocking on our door because it had a Spa International label.

We stayed at this hotel as we were going to the Chelsea flower show. As a IHG member the Intercontinental was a obvious choice as I wanted a high standard of hotel for our visit. Arrival was great as we were greeted by Panny the doorman, he was very welcoming & arranged for my car to be parked & put on charge. We checked in & then went straight up the the club lounge for afternoon tea, beautiful lounge with fantastic service from the staff. We sat by the window over looking Londons Wellington arch. We spent a couple of hours in trying different food with champagne. Well worth visiting. We then went to our room, which unfortunately they allocated us a twin bed room which I did not ask for. After speaking to the front desk we were relocated to another room and we were able to settle in. The room was a bit dated with a need for a refresh. Which was disappointing considering the cost of a room per night. Breakfast the next day in the club lounge was excellent with a great choice of food & great service. When checking out of the hotel, I was amazed that Panny the doorman remembered my name & said my Tesla was all charged up. He helped load the cases into the car & even brought some water bottles for our drive home. That little extra attention by staff makes guests feel valued.

The hotel was great. The only problem was we flew in from the states and got there about 11am the room wasnt ready until after 3 PM which I know is normal but many of the hotels we stayed in in a similar situation have been successful in getting us into the room by noon

Worst hotel I stayed at. Its a 3 star hotel masquerading as a 5 star. Room was filled with FILTH. Will attach photos. Horrible client services. We eventually met with the GM to no avail Requested a mirror for a vanity setting they said no. Food was 1/10 Ac not working Said we are not allowed to use the lounge even though we stayed here since ‘95 maybe Do not care about quality service or retention of clients Type of employees are terrible and untrained in keeping their customers happy They havent updated anything since maybe the eighties Im horrified and appalled its so terrible

Dear Mhstalt, Thank you for taking the time to do this Hotel Review. We are terribly sorry to note that you have not had an enjoyable stay at all and our service standards have totally failed to meet expectations on this occasion. Please rest assured that this is a lapse and certainly not the norm. Once again, please accept our sincerest apologies. In the meantime, further to your direct discussions with our Hotel Management Team, we very much hope that the room change we have arranged on your behalf will be far more to your liking and the remainder of your stay shall be enjoyable. I overall had a very pleasant stay at the Intercontinental Park Lane. The location is superb and the amenities of its dining, bar, lounge, etc, are a perfect addition to the comfortable/spacious hotel room I enjoyed for a period of 6 nights. The true gems of the hotel are not the product, but rather its team, I'd like to thank Sam from reception (for his great check- in and finding me a room available before check-in time) Alejandro from the bell team whom was super professional courteous, and unbelievably kind, Leandra for her swift check out/warm assistance, and especially Meritxwell from the reception: specifically Meritxwell helped me SO much when my dress was damaged by the hotel's external dry cleaning company. She took action, showed she cared, and did everything with a smile. The hotel is so lucky to have these hoteliers whom are really the essence of luxury hospitality!
