Pricy, Yes, but well worth it. My husband and I stayed here for 4 days. The hotel is very luxurious, professional staff. The food is….uh la la. We had access to the lounge and the afternoon tea and canapé had a very wide spread. It’s close to Oxford street and Harrods both walking distance. My only complaint is that for shelling out so much money the rooms should be big, they are painfully small.
So my normal go to hotel for a bit of luxury has always been the Intercontinental at the O2 (Greenwich). But as I had a few days off I thought we would finally try this Intercontinental at Mayfair. This hotel is in a different league to the O2 and is truly amazing. First it is in a great location, second it is a luxurious hotel and third as many other reviewers have said, the staff are amazing. As a Diamond Elite ambassador we got a major upgrade in room which was very nice, and the bed is so comfortable you will not want to get out of it. We took advantage of the Club Lounge which is really good value for money. The highlight for me was afternoon tea in the lounge. I have to mention both Adam & Hannah who gave exceptional customer service and an asset to the IHG brand. Looks like I have found my new go to luxury hotel.…
This was our second stay at the Intercontinental Park Lane. The hotel is conveniently located in Mayfair. It is close to public transportation and is walking distance to major attractions and shopping. What sets the Intercontinental apart from similar hotels is its exceptional staff. Everyone is professional yet friendly and welcoming which made our stay most enjoyable and relaxing. We will definitely continue to stay here when we travel to London.
We received a warm welcome from Lymariana Dacosta who made me feel good about being a Diamond Elite member. We appreciated the early check-in, upgrade to a seventh floor room with views of Hyde Park and a 2pm checkout plus welcome drinks. The accommodation with a super comfortable extra large bed and a deep bathtub was clean and well maintained. The service from everyone we encountered was excellent. Thank you Lymariana and Intercontinental Park Lane team for making us feel special.
I have stayed at this property before, and again enjoyed the excellent service and very attentive staff. Stay was booked my stay with points and was given room 746 on the 7th floor (Intercontinental Level). The rooms are ageing a little, but are still well furnished (minibar empty, perhaps due to COVID?) and with all necessary amenities. Overall, a very pleasant weekend stay and will stay again.
Stayed in a Mayfair Deluxe room with Club Intercontinental access. Impeccable service from Jayne, Luis, Magid, Rika and Dulip for breakfast, afternoon tea and evening drinks and canapes. Really enjoyed the location just across the road from Hyde Park for lovely long walks. Our second stay in 6 weeks. Says it all.
Just returned from an excellent stay at the intercontinental Park Lane. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was light and spacious and bed very comfortable. The staff were outstanding in terms of service and help, in particular Jayne and Luis in the club lounge. Enjoyed a stunning breakfast and evening drinks and canapés in club lounge. A weekend of indulgence and luxury. We’ll be back soon.
Booked through Voyage Prive and had a lovely spacious room on the 8th floor with a large balcony and views over London. We also had access to the Intercontinental Lounge which had amazing views and superb service. Round the corner was The Hard Rock Cafe ,Hyde Park and the tube line were a 2 minute walk away. Location was really excellent. .The staff were amazing, helpful courteous and professional at all times. Can't wait to come back.
I will remember this hotel for its impeccable service standards. Being centrally located in London helps tremendously in planning for day trips. And do check out the bar and the live music in the evening.
Just returned from a 4 day stay at the Intercontinental and had a wonderful time! The location between Green Park and Hyde Park Corner is perfect! Our room, 550, was generously sized with a nice view over Hyde Park. The room included US plugs and an adaptor too! There were many little touches like this that made the stay easier. The high point of our stay was our ability to access the Intercontinental Club. With sweeping views across London, we enjoy incredible breakfasts, tea and evening canapes and drinks here. The staff here was exceptional and I would like to especially note the kindness and helpfulness of Adam and Rafaela - both are stand out employees. Honestly, I would return for the club alone - it is a tremendous deal and a welcome respite from the busy London streets.…
