The Doubletree by Hilton London - Victoria earns high marks for its cleanliness and strategic location near major attractions and Victoria Station, making it a hit for ease of sightseeing and transit. While rooms are generally celebrated for being clean, some guests have experienced issues with A/C and space. The hotel's noise cancellation receives praise, although ongoing construction can be a disturbance.
Service at the hotel is often described as exceptional, contributing to the inviting atmosphere. However, concerns are raised regarding the value, with some travelers finding amenities overpriced and the cost unjustified.

Detailed Reviews
My daughter and I regularly visit London and we stay at the Doubletree by London Hotel, London Victoria as we find our 2 double beds deluxe room is always very clean and has everything we need for a comfortable stay. These rooms have a walk in shower which is what we need.
We also have breakfast and our evening meals there as our food allergies are carefully catered for so we can enjoy the meals without having to worry about the side effects. The chef is excellent, our meals are hot and absolutely delicious. There are Gluten Free options. Special thanks to Zubaio who has always given us wonderful service. All the staff on Reception, the Concierge desk, the Restaurant, the ladies who clean the rooms have been so friendly, welcoming and helpful so we have already booked and will return New Year's Eve and all throughout 2025.
Our grateful thanks to ALL.

Hotel's Favorite
As a widowed mum of an AuDHD pre-teen, it's difficult to find a twin room that allows us some space, without having to book an expensive family room, the rooms were large enough, with space to sit. With Hilton brand you know what you are getting, a good quality room, good choice of food, and well trained, friendly staff.
The entrance is currently having a makeover, so it was a bit awkward to see where reception was. You won't get a room with a pretty view, it's in London! We were treated to a magnificent view of Victoria station, bin yards and all 🤣
But the location is fantastic, a couple of minutes walk from Victoria station and underground.
The hotel although it seemed very busy, was quiet in the room. No noise.
Staff were all friendly and welcoming. Housekeeping were friendly and helpful.

I have been planning this trip for a year with my friend, and the Doubletree London – Victoria was the perfect place to stay. It is conveniently located near Victoria station and we found it very easy to get around London fairly quickly from this location.
The hotel has been newly renovated and looks great! I traveled with a friend and we’re from the US. We were aware that generally, the hotel rooms in the UK and Europe tend to be a little smaller than the US. We stayed in a King Suite, utilizing the sofa bed and the separate bedroom and it worked out well. There wasn’t a lot of extra space in the rooms, but the room had a closet as well as a separate closet full of shelves that was very helpful for storing and hanging clothes and other items.
It was extremely convenient to have a bar and restaurant in the hotel – both which were very good. The breakfast buffet in the morning has a lot of selections to choose from and the bar menu and dinner menu have a good variety of options as well.
We were very pleased with the staff – from housekeeping, front desk, concierge to the staff at the restaurant and bar – everyone was very friendly, and helpful. We stayed at the hotel for 10 nights and after the first day or two the staff always recognized us and greeted us and made sure to ask how our stay was going. A special shout out to the Concierge staff and Jaydeep, Ketan and Rishab at the Terminus Bar for going above and beyond. I would highly recommend staying here for your London adventures.

Right behind ( the key word is behind ) Victoria station . Subway and buses. Very good location . Walking distance to buckingham place . Good hotel clean. Staff is helpful, tryed to check in early , no luck . Rooms are nice on the smaller side, but ok , be sure to bring an electric adapter. Breakfast in the morning is good , let them know if you want 1,000 points or room cleaned everyday , based on the cost of the hotel I elected to have room cleaned, They will hold luggage. Lots of good pubs within walking distance and the musical Hamilton , which I booked tickets for online .England is fun but not cheap , especially if you come from the USA you lose 27 % in currency exchange as soon as you get off the place . I did get a SIM cards ,Do not buy at airport , I got ripped off and had to buy another one ,Do not changed money at the airport, very bad rates !! I used an international credit card ( no 3% service charge ) most of the times . Some places do not even accept cash , use google maps for subway and buses . I used it and went every everywhere , never needed a taxi. Get the oyster card and load with $ so you do not have to get a ticket for each trip, works with subway and buses .I took the Heathrow express to and from the airport . 15 minutes to pattington station , however it’s 25 pounds each way , convenient and fast .

Wife and I, both gold HHonors members who have spent far too much time in various hotels, spent 3 nights here. Far and away the worst Hilton property either of us have experienced.
Getting off the elevator going to our room we were met with a stench of mold so strong we nick named the hallway "Moldy lane" This didn't change over course of 3 days but I did notice one day they tried unsuccessfully to perfume it away.
Upon entering our room we found it was a sweltering 30 degrees. Despite only being 15C outside, no problem we'll lower the thermostat. Unfortunately the thermostat did nothing. Completely non-functional except on/off. We opened a window and turned the thing off.
Time to relax a bit, oops... the TV doesn't work, won't turn on.
The WC was nicely appointed, except for the strong smell of sewer gas, oh and the part where bathtub wouldn't drain, until the entire drain mechanism came apart in my hand when checking of maybe it was stuck shut.
The 2nd night my wife mentioned there was a fire alarm going off, I couldn't hear it. Investigating in the hall, we could faintly here the alarm from another floor, through the open fire door. None of the alarms including the one outside our door were alarming. We dressed and walked down the fire stairs to be met by firefighters running past us with a hose, and found the building was being evacuated.
Lucky for us my wife has nearly supernatural hearing. After an hour outside they let everyone except those on 10th floor back in. Non-functional fire alarms should be criminal.
We also play a game each time we travel, "what is the best bite of food you had?" The breakfast at this location caused us to add, "What was the worst bite you've had?" I love sausage. I eat some form of it nearly every day. The sausage served at breakfast was far and away the worst I ever tasted, We both declared this the "Worst bite of the trip"
TLDR. Skip this location, I've had better experience in Motel 6.

Hotel is literally a minutes walk from Victoria Station. Check in was easy and quick. Room was a good standard and although was facing the railway station there was no noise. Most notable was the attentiveness of the staff in the bar and restaurant area. I really must make a mention to Belinda. She went above and beyond in her level of service. Although the breakfast was a buffet/ self service type she was offering to make toast or get coffees for the guests. I will make this hotel top of my list for future visits to London.

The hotel is located in a great location at Victoria, near to the station, and with Cardinal Place nearby and many food options. However, the hotel is in need of an uplift, it is old and tired. The rooms did not come with any amenity at all, no bottled water even though I m a Hilton Honours gold member, no slippers provided, and the complimentary coffee and tea were also not refilled on a daily basis.
The hotel stay came with breakfast but the variety was minimal, and basically the same items were being served throughout my stay of 6 nights.
As I was here for the London Marathon, I asked the hotel if they were planning to open the restaurant early for breakfast to cater to many runners who stayed in the hotel. However, they wouldn’t do so, and they opened later at 7am on weekends as compared to 6am on weekdays. They explained that no one had requested them to open early for breakfast for the London marathon. I had stayed in other Hilton properties before for marathon, for eg, Hilton Berlin, they had especially catered for the runners to have breakfast by opening up much earlier than usual and had special items in the menu to help boost the runners.
In terms of housekeeping, it wasn’t done until very late in the afternoon. I came back from the marathon late in the afternoon to find that my room was still not made. The housekeeper who eventually made my room just basically emptied the rubbish bins and changed the towels. The bed was not made, there was no vacuuming of the room, the bathroom was not washed, the toilet tissue was not topped up.
There is certainly more that needs to be done to make the hotel stay more pleasant.

Dear Aadroit, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience about your recent stay at our hotel. Please accept our sincere apologies if your experience this time was not up to your expectation. I assure you this is not the level of service we offer at Hilton. We have people leaving early in the morning and when they have breakfast included, we offer them a breakfast to go, and most of the time the people are happy with that. I apologize once again for the inconvenience caused and because all the opinions and comments of the guest are valuable to us, I have shared your comment with the relevant managers so that they are able to make the necessary improvements. The entire team looks forward to the pleasure of welcoming you back to redeem the trust in our hotel. Kind Regards, Diana Dumitrescu, Guest Relations Manager

We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel. From the front desk, concierge and dining room waitstaff everyone was friendly and helpful. This hotel is right across the street from Victoria train station and a couple of blocks from Victoria coach station. The rooms are not large - but this is Europe and hotel rooms are smaller here. But the room was well appointed with a safe, kettle with assorted teas, hair dryer, big fluffy towels and lots of USB plugs to charge all your devices. The full breakfast is free for Hilton diamond members and it was very good with many choices. There is also air conditioning which we very much appreciated during the “heatwave” that occurred during our stay. We were on a higher floor and it was very quiet. Overall we would stay here again on a return trip to London.

We stayed only one night visiting a friend on our way to Copenhagen. Our plans had us flying into Heathrow but leaving from Gatwick. We chose Doubletree because it is literally across the street from Victoria Station which is easy enough to get to from Heathrow with connecting trains and go to Gatwick on one of 2 express trains each hour. Short of staying at Gatwick, this is the most convenient hotel for a morning flight from that airport. I am also a Diamond Hilton Honors member which allowed us early check in and a good free breakfast in the morning.
The hotel is not big, more boutique sized and looks recently renovated. The room was comfortable. We especially liked the shower which looked new and had great water pressure, something you don’t find often in hotels these days. But again, the number one selling point was eliminating the stress of making a morning flight out of Gatwick. We literally rolled our bags out the front door, across the street, into the station and onto the train in 5 minutes. It was fantastic!

Yes they will store your bags.
Not sure just call number on Hilton page should be able to help
Yes, they tilt in a few inches. But having just stayed there a week ago I cannot stress how bad the service was at this hotel. We stayed at three Hiltons on this trip. Two perfect and this dreadful one.
