This is a very well located hotel, nearby Gloucester Road tube station. Transportation to any place in London is really easy. Nice rooms, clean and well equipped, very good wifi, a great garden and a very convenient lounge room are the advantages. I would add more options to breakfast, especially diet options. But it provides good value for money and...

I've stayed at this hotel several times before. It's really good, a bit pricey compared to other hotels in the same street .. Pro: - nice big rooms - nice garden view - quiet, not much noise. ( except the ac, see below ) - Excellent location. Con: - the ac is hard to get right and it made a...

Could not fault this hotel from the moment we walked in the door to the moment we left. We had a genuine welcome from the reception staff and we were told that our room had been upgraded as we are IHG members and that carried with it all the benefits of the Club Lounge which made a huge difference to...

First time visiting London. I used previous Trip Advisor reviews to select this hotel. I'm so grateful for the reviews and was not disappointed. Great location near historic sites and super close to the Gloucester Station.

This hotel is located very close to Gloucester Road tube station and in an upmarket area. I've stayed there on several occasions over the last few years and it is my favourite London hotel. There is a fab club room that tends to be buzzing between five and eight o'clock on weekdays. The restaurant is Thai- style and I have...

We stayed here for one week while visiting our son and celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. I researched hotels and b&b's quite long while before deciding on the Crowne Plaza in Kensington. My research paid off because my husband & I had THE MOST wonderful experience here. The staff and management are helpful, friendly, and offer service that is probably...

I have to agree with the other reviewers. This place is outstanding. Well run, clean, great staff, and nice rooms. The bar was pleasant and run by a great staff. The rooms were quiet and the housekeeping was fast and efficient. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This is our last accommodation of a 30 day trip around the UK/France and Belgium. All accomodation apart from Liverpool has been very good. This hotel is perfect to end the trip. It is luxurious - plenty of room, soft beds, soft pillows and excellent facilities. Breakfast was great as well. Terrific location with access to transport, restaurants and pubs.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
