The hotel is very well located in an area with lots of choices for restaurants as well as well connected to public transportation. They do offer a club lounge to higher up members of the IGH family with awesome breakfast...

I chose the hotel as it provided early breakfast , and coach to the race start , as part of a package. This completely took the stress out of getting to the Marathon , and...

Very convenient to get around by tube or Uber. The area is quiet relative to Oxford Street, which is a plus. Excellent service delivery, from front desk/bar/restaurant staff. Stayed only a night, would have liked to have stayed longer! Rooms are clean and modern. The iron in the room was well-needed. Would defiintely stay again. Congrats Crowne Plaza on well-managed...

The Crowne Plaza is a real treat! Although centrally located it is a quite little haven of peace and pampering. Rooms are clean and attention to detail perfect. The breakfast was delicious but its the staff who deserve the real credit. Friendly, approachable and so keen to please. Will definately return.

The location of this hotel is just a block from the Gloucester Road tube station which is on 3 lines including the line to Heathrow airport. The room was clean and staff friendly and helpful. There are coffee shops, pubs and stores close by and the neighborhood is good.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.

“My only criticism, there was no socket for the kettle in the area where the in room tea/coffee area situated. And the flex wasnt long enough for the kettle to sit on a table and reach the socket. Fine for me, I put it on the floor. Maybe a danger if young children in the room”

“The hotel is pretty quiet considering it is on a busy street. However noise can be heard in adjoining rooms. Try to get a room without a door that opens to the next room.”
