Very pleased. The front desk staff was helpful, the location was perfect, and the room very clean. I found the small details like the design of the bathroom and the aesthetic of the lobby added to the experience.

I have been doing the rounds of the Hilton brands in central London this year and this has developed into my personal favourite . It's a small boutique style hotel in a historic (late Victorian) building . It's recently been refurbished , so it retains much of its charm - especially the staircase and lift(elevator) but with a modern touch... More

Really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Decent sized rooms, nice breakfast and very helpful and courteous staff. Very nice location and easy access to the very centre of London with tube next door and bus stop just outside. would definitely stay here again.

This was a return visit at the invitation of the manager to revisit after a disappointing stay in April. The hotel has now been refurbished. The room we were upgraded to on the second floor overlooking the park (214) was very pleasant. The shower was wonderfully efficient. The location is good being next to Queensway tube. The breakfast is good... More

This recently refurbished hotel has an international cliental that suits it's great location at the Queensbury tube stop. Around the corner are affordable restaurants of all sorts. The staff was top notch going out of their way to make our stay comfortable. While the corner itself is busy it is directly across from a gate to Hyde Park making it... More

I would highly recommend this hotel. The price per night was fare, it was clean and really close to Queensway stop on the tube. We had no problems getting our tickets each day and jumping on the tube for sight seeing. No extra advice needed for this hotel, a quality stay all around.

Tucked away between an odd assortment of shops and restaurants a stone's throw from Queensway tube, this hotel has what I'd call a "boutique" vibe but unfortunately fails to follow through on this in execution. Somehow the potential charm of this place has been flattened out with the standard Hilton treatment, and what you're left with is small rooms without... More

Great hotel, with good location to Queens way tube station. The rooms have benefited from a recent refresh and the staff were very helpful. Overall a good experience so close to Hyde Park and central London

I normally do not put reviews on Trip Advisor, but feel I must. This was our first trip to London and we asked the reception staff numerous questions throughout our stay. They were all exceptionally helpful from arrival to departure; as well as, helping check us in for our flight departures and also printing out our boarding passes. The rooms... More

poor maintenance, had to change room 3 times:in the room, time the air conditioning did not work, when we told them that there is no air coming out we were given the explanation that in their system no air should be coming out and that the air conditioning system is controlled by humidity. which was an insult to our intelligence.... Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hilton London Hyde Park fully completed its multi-million pound extensive refurbishment in June 2016. The work included a full revamp of meeting space, common areas and guest rooms. The number of rooms offered by the hotel has increased and there has been extensive restaurant expansion. All 136 bedrooms offer contemporary spaces with a classic twist, keeping in line with the rich history of the Grade II listed Edwardian building to cover the needs of the modern traveller. The plan also involved adding a new room type for families to reflect the increase of guests coming to visit London for leisure, looking for more space and comfort. The four new rooms are built so they can be accessed via a private door on a floor of their own and can be hired exclusively for larger groups, giving guests the comfort, personalisation and flexibility they need. The hotel also redesigned its restaurant space and turned what used to be tanning studio and hairdresser into Aubaine Hyde Park Restaurant, offering true blend of cosmopolitan style and French cuisine. All dining options are designed with you in mind. Start the day with a hearty breakfast or nutritious light bite or relax with a cup of coffee in the Aubaine Lounge Bar. From business brunches to pre-dinner drinks and everything in between, the options at Hilton are catered especially for you. All 136 guest rooms and Coburg meeting room for up to 30 guests offer wireless internet access. New Hilton Worldwide Cancellation policies: no cancellation charges until 1 day prior to arrival, 11:59pm. ... more   less
