Hilton London Hyde Park fully completed its multi-million pound extensive refurbishment in June 2016. The work included a full revamp of meeting space, common areas and guest rooms. The number of rooms offered by the hotel has increased and there has been extensive restaurant expansion. All 136 bedrooms offer contemporary spaces with a classic twist, keeping in line with the rich history of the Grade II listed Edwardian building to cover the needs of the modern traveller. The plan also involved adding a new room type for families to reflect the increase of guests coming to visit London for leisure, looking for more space and comfort. The four new rooms are built so they can be accessed via a private door on a floor of their own and can be hired exclusively for larger groups, giving guests the comfort, personalisation and flexibility they need. The hotel also redesigned its restaurant space and turned what used to be tanning studio and hairdresser into Aubaine Hyde Park Restaurant, offering true blend of cosmopolitan style and French cuisine. All dining options are designed with you in mind. Start the day with a hearty breakfast or nutritious light bite or relax with a cup of coffee in the Aubaine Lounge Bar. From business brunches to pre-dinner drinks and everything in between, the options at Hilton are catered especially for you. All 136 guest rooms and Coburg meeting room for up to 30 guests offer wireless internet access. New Hilton Worldwide Cancellation policies: no cancellation charges until 1 day prior to arrival, 11:59pm.

Many guests commend the Hilton London Hyde Park for its prime location near the tube and the park, making it a convenient base for exploring the city. The hotel's amenities, including the Nespresso machines and quality toiletries, are highlighted positively, although some visitors have mentioned cramped shower spaces.

This hotel is found in a great location, literally right next door to Queensway tube station, Bayswater Road exit and facing the north west corner of Hyde Park. A few metres away from the hotel is Queensway Road where you can find a huge number of eating options, cafe’s and shops.
I stayed in a relatively decent sized, nice double room which was comfortable and came fully equipped with fridge, safe, iron, TV, tea/coffee etc.
After a long day, I opted for room service one evening and enjoyed a promptly delivered, delicious Wagyu burger and fries.
On the ground floor is a cosy boutique style bar area which was nice to relax and take a drink. The excellent buffet breakfast is reached via the bar and highly recommended, you can request freshly cooked eggs.
Hilton are offering 25% off food and drinks at this hotel for Hilton Honours members which is an added bonus.
I found the staff to be extremely helpful and to whom I am grateful, for helping reunite me with Kindle after I had left it in my bed and checked out. Thank you!

After checking in to another hotel and discovering our room was no bigger than a closet, we walked over to the Hilton. I had noticed it on our cab ride to the previous hotel, and I’m so glad I did. The front desk was extremely accommodating to us, and we were able to book a sunny King Deluxe room with a view of the park at a rate lower than the previous hotel, including breakfast daily. It was heaven! The buffet breakfast was wonderful, the attached restaurant was excellent and the overall service was friendly and helpful. I appreciated the daily Happy Hour in the cozy lounge with half off drinks and also the discount at the restaurant. We had a Nespresso machine in our room and also a kettle for tea. Hyde Park, Princess Diana Playground and Kensington Palace are across the street and all were in bloom with daffodils and tulips. Although our room was on the second floor above a busy street, I was never bothered by street noise. The only noise came from the water/toilet system, which I’m assuming is common in older buildings. Also, the wind came up one night and was literally howling through our room, another thing I guess we can chalk up to an older building. All in all, this Hilton property was our home away from home for seven glorious nights and we loved it. I hope to return someday and would highly recommend this property for your London getaway.

We stayed here Saturday 29th April with friends and we had the best time. The location is great. Hyde park is beautiful and I think no matter what side of the hotel you stay on you will have a good view. There are lots of lovely restaurants and pubs nearby and central London shopping area is walkable. Abdul on reception made sure our bags were taken care of when we arrived early and updated us on the hotel facilities. He was really friendly and helpful during our stay. The room (1222) was very spacious for central London, very clean and great views, I love the window seats, i think they might be in all the rooms. Nice toiletries and great shower. When we arrived we went up to the bar, the views are great and it is comfortable and beautifully decorated. I had a Bloody Mary, bit disappointed that it didn’t come with the usual extras, I would have thought it would in a hotel like this and it cost £18! But the bar is well worth a visit and the staff were lovely too. We had a really comfortable night’s sleep, very peaceful and not stuffy or too hot. The breakfast was excellent. The room is very calm and has beautiful views over Hyde park, Rajani who took care of us was very helpful and made sure we were aware of all the vegan options. The vegan food is very good. The raspberry croissant was delicious and the are plenty of other vegan dairy alternatives and cooked breakfast choices. I would say the vegan sausages are disappointing, they look good but tasted like unflavoured tofu. There are so many nice vegan sausage I was surprised this is what we got. Hash browns were amazing! We were very lucky to have access to the Hilton lounge and much enjoyed the complementary drinks and canapés on Saturday evening. This is one of the most fun weekends in London and the best Hilton stay I’ve ever had. I’m sure the hotel will be even more fantastic when the lobby renovations are complete. It was also lovely to stay in a brutalist building, i love the light and the views but it still felt very contemporary. Thank you for making us feel so special and for the excellent service.

Regarding the poor customer service I experienced during my recent stay at Hilton Hyde Park. Specifically, I would like to address the unprofessional and unhelpful behavior of the Duty Manager, Sehrish Zaman.
I made a reservation through Hilton.com for one room for two nights. Later, I edited my booking to two rooms for two nights to accommodate my friends who joined the trip. My confirmation on Hilton.com reflected the correct details—two rooms for two nights. However, the Hilton Honors app displayed conflicting information: one room for one night and one room for two nights.
To ensure everything was sorted before my holiday, I proactively contacted the Hilton reservation team, who confirmed my booking details were correct. However, upon check-in, the front desk staff insisted that my booking was one room for one night and one room for two nights. This resulted in involving Duty Manager Sehrish Zaman.
Sehrish Zaman's handling of the situation was highly unprofessional. She repeatedly insisted my booking was incorrect without making any genuine effort to resolve the problem. Instead of assisting me, she questioned why I had contacted the reservation team beforehand and attributed the issue to me editing my booking. She failed to listen, displayed a lack of empathy, and ultimately walked away without resolving the matter.
It took the intervention of the Relationship Manager who asked me to make a phone call to Hilton's customer service hotline. The customer service team confirmed my booking within five minutes that my booking was indeed two rooms for two nights. This entire process, which should have been straightforward, wasted over 30 minutes of my time and left me feeling frustrated and unwelcome.
I find it unacceptable that a Duty Manager would lack both the knowledge and willingness to resolve such an issue effectively. Her behaviour does not align with the normal standards I expect from Hilton..

The hotel boasts an excellent location, just outside Queensway Station, making it incredibly convenient for travel. The receptionist was very welcoming, though I unfortunately didn't catch their name.
The room was spacious, especially by London standards, and provided a comfortable stay. While the bathroom was on the smaller side, it was functional and met all of our needs. The lift, though compact, was rarely busy, which made it easy to use.
Breakfast offerings were basic and lacked variety, but it served its purpose.
Overall, a solid choice for a well-located, affordable stay in London.

I feel like I need to start this review by sharing that I have never written a review before, and usually read these reviews with a grain of salt knowing that some people are just difficult. I am not a chronic complainer and want to make it clear that at all times we treated all staff respectfully and politely and are genuinely happy travelers. With that being said, I am a Hilton member and checked in a day ahead of time online. When I arrived, I was told the room I checked into was not available and the only room that was available was one with a broken air conditioning. They told us we would be able to move into a new air conditioned room the next morning. The room was like a sauna and smelled moldy and musty because there was no air conditioning and our entire family was up all night long, it was miserable. After breakfast and before we headed out for the day we politely spoke to the front desk and they told us that if we packed our things they would move our items into the new room and call us once complete. We were happy with this resolution and we're looking forward to our new room. We returned 5 hours later, and nothing had changed and no one knew anything about a new room for us. We said we had to leave again in one hour at 3:30 and they told us we would be in our new room by then. At 3:30 we had no updates and when we went to speak to the front desk they told us that the only room available was a different one with no air conditioning. They refused to allow me to speak to the manager. Meanwhile, I am watching new customers check into their perfectly air conditioned rooms. I then asked if there was only the one room available in the entire hotel and the woman at the front desk went to speak to the manager and after 20 minutes we had a new room with air conditioning. We quickly moved our things and set back out, very late for our afternoon agenda. When we returned after dinner, we discovered a cockroach walking across the floor. The whole experience was truly horrific.

There are pros and cons to this hotel. On the plus side, the location is perfect for central London. Queensway tube station and multiple bus stops are just a dozen steps from the front door, there are a large number of restaurants and shops on Queensway, and Hyde Park is just across the street.
Front desk staff were great. Our room was prepared as requested. Housekeeping was just as good.
On the minus side, we booked a "view" room at a premium price. The room itself was fine with a good view of the park, the shower was excellent. The booster pump noise from adjacent rooms not so nice late at night.
These rooms are located along Bayswater road, which wouldn't be so bad except for the traffic signal just outside. That created a lot of vehicle noise. Our room was on floor two, so loud conversations from the pavement were common.
Perhaps rooms on an upper floor would be quieter, but if we stayed here again a regular room in back might be better.

Dear Mr Ken, Thank you for sharing your experience with this hotel. It's great to hear that the location was a plus for you, with easy access to transportation, restaurants, shops, and Hyde Park. It's also good to know that the front desk staff, room preparation, and housekeeping met your expectations. I'm sorry to hear that the premium "view" room was noisy due to the booster pump from adjacent rooms and traffic noise from Bayswater road. It's understandable that this would be disruptive, especially late at night. It's also unfortunate that conversations from the pavement could be heard in your room, despite being on the second floor. Your suggestion of booking a regular room in the back might be a good idea for a quieter experience, or perhaps trying a higher floor rooms could help reduce the noise level. Overall, thank you for sharing both the pros and cons of your stay at our hotel. We hope to see you again at Hilton London Hyde Park. Kind regards, Faheem Gul Night Manager

Starting first with the reason why I would stay there again: THE LOCATION; in walking distance from 2 tube station, one being in the building of the hotel (no noticeable noise btw), bus station near-by, official cab strip in front of the hotel. Street facing rooms have views over Kensington Gardens (Hyde Park). In these rooms the street rumor is only noticeable at rush hours and will not disturb your sleep. You almost can’t top THE LOCATION with Hyde Park across & sooo many Nothing Hill restaurants & shops in walking distance. Acceptable aspects of the place are the smallish rooms; rather old & small hotel, but charming. Staff is friendly, tries to help, but struggles, too many trainees and guidance from managers hardly noticeable. Acceptable currently with the post Corona staffing issues. Breakfast buffet standard, nothing special. Price - Performance ratio is under average for London; I paid for one night £446 and £432 for two rooms with king size beds overlooking the park. Even for London in July this is too expensive for the experience offered. I will come back if I can get a better deal. Otherwise I might look elsewhere.

After just arriving in London and finding my original hotel in Notting Hill unsuitable, I walked by the Hilton London Hyde Park stressed out and tired with all my bags hoping they had a vacancy. I was in luck! I was able to book a queen room and it was incredible - I'm so happy I found this hotel. It's in a beautiful building right across the street from Hyde park and between two tube stations - the Queensway station on the Central line is right below and the Bayswater station on the Circle line is just a couple blocks away. It was so convenient and made getting around the City so easy. Within just a couple blocks were pubs, restaurants, cafes, grocery stores and lovely places to walk and enjoy nature in peace. It really had everything and this hotel made for a perfect base for my 5 days in London. The hotel itself was spotless, updated and quite comfortable. I loved that the rooms were of good size and the bathroom had a normal sized shower and bathtub (hotel rooms in London can be very small sometimes). All the staff were wonderful and I'm so grateful for them for helping me find a room that suited my needs, at a good price, at the very last desperate moment! 110% recommend this hotel and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Was given a room on the third floor.
Hotels in the UK never provide rooms in the basement and without windows- it’s unheard of, and an up market hotel like Hilton would definitely not do that.
I can’t believe you even asked it!
