Hilton London Hyde Park fully completed its multi-million pound extensive refurbishment in June 2016. The work included a full revamp of meeting space, common areas and guest rooms. The number of rooms offered by the hotel has increased and there has been extensive restaurant expansion. All 136 bedrooms offer contemporary spaces with a classic twist, keeping in line with the rich history of the Grade II listed Edwardian building to cover the needs of the modern traveller. The plan also involved adding a new room type for families to reflect the increase of guests coming to visit London for leisure, looking for more space and comfort. The four new rooms are built so they can be accessed via a private door on a floor of their own and can be hired exclusively for larger groups, giving guests the comfort, personalisation and flexibility they need. The hotel also redesigned its restaurant space and turned what used to be tanning studio and hairdresser into Aubaine Hyde Park Restaurant, offering true blend of cosmopolitan style and French cuisine. All dining options are designed with you in mind. Start the day with a hearty breakfast or nutritious light bite or relax with a cup of coffee in the Aubaine Lounge Bar. From business brunches to pre-dinner drinks and everything in between, the options at Hilton are catered especially for you. All 136 guest rooms and Coburg meeting room for up to 30 guests offer wireless internet access. New Hilton Worldwide Cancellation policies: no cancellation charges until 1 day prior to arrival, 11:59pm.

Myself and my partner decided to do a little Christmas trip to London and visit the Tutankhamen Exhibit at the Saatchi Gallery & Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park December 2019 and booked here for a nights stay. Many years ago in our early 20s & less experienced hotel wise we stayed here for a few nights over New Years and loved it so this was our first time returning to the hotel now in our mid to late 30s and brought back nice memories from our previous visit all those years ago. Obviously the hotel has now changed in places but we still recognised it. We arrived early and dropped our bags off and the staff were nice and friendly. We went out for the day and upon returning checked in easy enough as I’d already checked in online through my HiltonHonors account. We had a standard room over looking the park (which we found is actually Kensington gardens not Hyde park which is further down the road) and it wasn’t a bad size for London, clean and had everything we needed including a nice en suite and comfy bed. We had lunch at the Aubaine restaurant below the hotel which was nice and served nice mulled wine but I will review more on their own page. Later in the night we returned from Winter Wonderland which as I stated was actually a little further away than we thought as the park over the road isn’t actually Hyde Park but not too far away and beneath the hotel there is actually a tube station which is just so convenient. Upon our return we had a drink in the hotel bar which was pretty quiet, it was nice to sit and have a quiet drink. We had a great nights sleep and shower was good. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel as there is a road at the side of the hotel that has shops and lots of restaurants and cafes. Hotel wifi is also good. Would recommend we enjoyed our return visit.

Hotel's Favorite
The hotel is in a fantastic location right next to Hyde Park and situated right next to Queensway underground station. You couldn't ask for a better location. The hotel is an old building so this will not be like your standard Hilton. The rooms are all different shapes and sizes so if you can check in via your phone and select your room you can get an idea of the sizes available to you. Also be prepared to take the stairs. There is one very small elevator in the lobby and it is faster to take the stairs. My husband and I took up the entire elevator when we arrived with two checked bag suitcases. We ran into a problem on our second night where our toilet would not stop running. There is no onsite maintenance at night so we were quickly moved to a new room and given a complimentary breakfast. The beds were a tad firm and not the pillowy beds I have experienced with other Hiltons, but I was able to sleep easily. The hotel is on a busy road so if you have a park view room and you are a light sleeper bring earplugs to drown out road noise.

We arrived very late as it was my birthday, and we were coming from celebrations. What was absolutely lovely was in spite of our late arrival, they still brought up a complimentary little bottle of wine, as they knew it was my birthday! That was a lovely touch. The room had a beautiful view of Hyde Park, which was fab to just wake up and have a jog, the next day! The bed was super comfy and we weren't affected by any road noise. The restaurant was closed when we were there, so breakfast was in a box, which we arrange to be delivered to our room. There was a little issue with the bathroom, but the members of staff apologised. Great stay. Thoroughly recommend.

I had been expecting things to be different due to the Covid situation but I didn’t expect to be served breakfast in a box . The rooms were clean but not clean enough ! I found bits of food under my bed and crumbs where the coffee and tea tray was . My coffee and tea wasn’t topped up which was disappointing . The staff are sweet at the hotel and always greeted us when we entered and wished us good evening when we returned . The lady that delivered our breakfast was very sweet and the lady that came to clean our room! Despite my winge , I had a good nights sleep and the hotels location is excellent ! My only feedback is the breakfast in a box , perhaps implement an app where guests can pick some simple things from a menus to eat , fresh tea and coffee would of been a nice touch .

Dear Guest, Thank you for choosing Hilton London Hyde Park for your stay in London. I was deeply saddened to hear about your disappointment regarding your recent stay in our property. I am sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction with the breakfast, we are working closely together with the outsourced Aubaine restaurant, to provide our guests the best options. The full English breakfast at the moment is not available due to the unforeseen global situation but we are working on it. Apologies for the shortfalls in Housekeeping service you experienced and thank you for bringing these to our attention. Rest assured that I have passed your feedback to the Housekeeping Manager for follow up. If you will plan another visit with us, kindly let me know and i will be glad to look after your booking. Thank you once again for staying with us. I do hope that you will give us the opportunity to welcome you back in the future. In the meantime, if there is anything else I can assist with, please do not hesitate to contact me directly. Best Regards, Erla Gurthi Front Office Team
