We recently spent four nights at 11 Cadogan Gardens. It’s a lovely historic property on a quiet residential street. The front desk staff and the Concierge, James, were all very friendly and attentive to any questions or requests. There’s a cute bar off the reception area which unfortunately is currently not open but looks like a great place for your favorite cocktail. Hopefully, it will reopen soon. I declined giving five stars only because the room we were assigned was lacking any view and the bathroom was tiny. The restaurant on site, Hans Bar and Grill, is on the lower level and opens out to the street behind the Hotel. We only had breakfast there and it was acceptable. If you’re looking for an older well kept historic property to stay at then this will appeal to you.
This is a small jewel of a hotel, more like a home. They are kind, accommodating, helpful in ways big and small. Knowing it was my birthday, they created a beautiful birthday display in my room. I love being here!
A very comfortable Relais & Chateau a few steps away from Sloane Square. Quiet, good service and elegant rooms. What else can I say ? The bar is on Pavilion Road which is a newly restored little road with super food shops and other bars. Ready to go back anytime
I booked this hotel due to it’s proximity to my early morning appointment. I couldn’t be happier. The staff were welcoming and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed. I was personally shown to my room. Craige asked if the room temperature was suitable, but I found it a little warm so the duvet was changed to a lighter weight. The room was quiet and comfortable. The restaurant was quite busy but I chose a quiet place. There were food options for gluten free and everything I ordered was cooked exactly as requested and full of flavour. Although there was a lift, I prefer to use the stairs, which are full of character with old paintings on the walls. Nothing was too much trouble, but completely relaxed. I really felt as if taking care of the residents is of the utmost importance. It was a home from home and I would definitely use 11 Cadogan Gardens again.…
Lovely jewel very well located made of four old mansions cobbled together. Dark, antiquey, reams of paintings of all the old barons and dames everywhere. Rooms are small but very comfy and mega quiet. Restaurant bottom floor opens out to great back street filled with restaurants and shops. Restaurant never closes has same menu 24 hours with adequate not super food but good service. All the staff are warm, engaging, very helpful. Taxis come immediately to the call. If you want a big, flashy, modern place this is not for you. The elevator is clunky and at least in our case had to walk into next/connecting building, walk up a staircase to the next floor, press the button and slide open the inner grate door to go down, repeating the same to go up. All in all a delightful, relaxing stay.…
We were so pleased with our stay at 11 Cadogan Gardens. I booked based on the Relais & Chateau designation and we were not disappointed. We had a king room, which was small, but expected for a city hotel. Great shower, super comfortable bed, and a very quiet room. We loved staying in Chelsea and would definitely stay here again!
We stayed for one night and the staff were absolutely amazing. Breakfast was also amazing and there is a very chique bar at the rear of the hotel leading onto the street with tables set for guests and the general public alike. We were looked after from the moment we arrived. A beautiful building with a Victorian theme. Thank you and we will be returning soon.
My return to 11 CADOGAN GARDENS after 35 years did not disappoint. What an extraordinary experience I had this week. The hotel is charming and exquisite. The staff, especially Sam and James led by Manager Ian Richardson are exceptional. The service was first rate. I was disappointed The Chelsea bar was closed due to shortage staff. You cannot beat the location. The additional shopping area behind the hotel is icing on the cake. I cannot wait to return.
Fantastic london hotel in Sloan square area Tucked around the back of the fantastic pavilion street with great cafes and shops The Hotel is in a great location And The staff were very helpful Rooms are comfortable with great beds And the food in the restaurant was very good Breakfast is great too .
Excellent location with a staff exceptionally well trained. The rooms are very comfortable and I felt like I was coming home. I plan to make 11 Cadogan Gardens my London address for my future trips and I hope to see again the people that made me feel so welcomed.
