We stayed 3 nights, great location, 2 minutes from museums, and many lovely restaurants, shops and cake. Yes the rooms are tiny, but there's everything you need.lots of toiletries and towels and tea and coffee. The staff always said hello, for the price you can't go wrong.

Very close to Natural History Museum. Served by two tube stations and good bus routes. Check in could have been better. Booked 3 rooms originally via Booking.com. Cancelled one about a week before arriving but still expected us to need 3 rooms. I had confirmation thankfully. The hotel required the room card to access the lift and toilets on the... More

Stayed Sunday evening as we were watching a performance at the Royal Albert. We arrived at one oclock in the afternoon and were allocated our rooms immediately which was great however they said they would have looked after our luggage. We booked a triple room it was quite small but clean and comfortable. We all slept well even though we... More

I wasn't really impressed but it wasn't bad. Easiest to sum up the pros and cons: Pros: - The location is great in a nice neighborhood (close to the Hop On/ Hop Off Bus, within a 5 min walk to the Underground (Glocester station), and in a nice neighborhood with access to restaurants (5 min walk). - The rooms are... We had a twin room as it was my friends daughter and myself staying and it was very comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom a decent size and shower was good. Even the window opened!! A warm night so needed it although had to close eventually due to traffic noise!

The staff are far from friendly. Quite curt. I asked on the one night if I could use a microwave, as the rooms dont have any - and they said they don't have any in the hotel. (Saw it the next morning when breakfast was on). I was with my hubby and two girls. So we wanted to be able... More

The best feature of the hotel is its location, very near 2 tube stations and some of London´s great attractions like the Natural History Museum. I found the room a bit small but enough for a city break. It´s well decorated and very clean. It was a great choice.

The hotel is extremely well located: it's his main strenght. It's very close to the subway (5min walk from Gloucester road), in a chic area (South Kensington). Many nice places to have breakfast in the morning: way better to the hotel breakfast. The hotel is clean and confortable but the room are very small! It's simple but ok for a... More

First off location is excellent and only 5 min walk from tube station Stayed here for 2 nights this week which was enough to be honest as room was very small and no where to sit apart from on the bed. Overall the room was very clean and served the purpose as only slept there was out most of the... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
