Wonderful hotel with a charming staff. The design is magnificent and the size of the hotel makes it feel like home, something that is underlined by the friendly and helpful staff. I really hope they have a room for us when we visit London again!

We stopped for just one night and thoroughly enjoyed the experience but for one significant aspect. I'll start with the good, which was undoubtedly the room. It had everything a luxury hotel should have and left a lasting impression. The service was, of course, excellent - as you would expect from a Belmond hotel. But...the restaurant experience was, I'm sad to say, a disappointment. We stopped on a Saturday night and it was as if the master chef was on a night off. The food was, well...ordinary. Given everything else about the experience, I suppose we anticipated more, so perhaps the fault is ours for unrealistic expectations. In any event, it would make me hesitant to repeat the experience - at least from the restaurant perspective.

Would we stay here again? Probably not, I didn't find the room very female friendly at all, bathroom small and cluttered, too busy as I had to get ready in there as well as my husband , as no dressing table facility in room. Rooms designed by men for men in my opinion, what about us ladies when we want to sit, relax and get ready for a night out?

The greeting on arrival was so welcoming we felt at home immediately, even the fire was glowing in the reception area. Without exception the staff in all areas are very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. (Thank you, especially, to Jamie & team). We dined both nights of our stay in the bar/lounge area and the food was excellent. Our room was very comfortable and the bathroom was huge with much attention to detail. We were amazed by the silence, especially as the hotel is situated on a corner with traffic lights. (Excellent sound proofing). When next visiting London we will definitely return, Our heartfelt thanks to everyone at the Cadogan for making our stay so relaxing and special.
