Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.

I booked a room for me, my Brother and my mum. The bathtoom and the beds was very very cleaned and the hotel offers USB Power outlets, so You don't Need an adapter. Prices are medium but the breakfast Is too much expensive. Great location and position, near Notting Hill and the principal train (metro) lines

The 5th and the 6th of June, I spent a couple of nights in the Bayswater Inn Hotel, in Princes Square. I couldn't believe that paying €98 per night, breakfast wasn't included, would get me an awful awful little and dirty room in the basement. The carpet was dirty, the room and bathroom were shabby. There were two windows that faced a courtyard, 1 or 2 square metres, quite dirty, and of course not much light, so I had the curtains drawn all the time. I can't complain about the staff at reception, they were helpful and offer to give me another room the next day, but I declined because I decided that one more night would “not kill me”, but I definitely do not recommend this hotel. Good location though.

Picked this hotel at the last moment following dissatisfaction with Tony's House in Paddington. Got a good deal so believe it was value for money. But even here the elevator/lift didn't work - I thought it may have been out of service for a couple of days, but when I asked - 2 months!! Other than that I was happy with my room and the general facilities of the hotel.

This hotel was very disappointing at the start of our two week holiday in London. We were given the wrong room but told this was what Agoda had booked for us. The lifts were not working so we had to cart large suitcases and hand luggage down a large flight of stairs down to a basement room. We were greeted by thick mould growing up a wall and along the carpet. The shower only had half a door, the other half was missing so the water went all round the bathroom which then became dangerous and slippery. The shower and sink plugs were both blocked and both took ages to drain away. The TV remote did not work and there was only one small window to open for ventilation. I would not recommend this hotel or the staff at the front desk. Very unhelpful and made us feel really awkward after the first time we tried to get things sorted out so not happy about going to them again. We had to put up with it all for three days and nights and it really put a damper on the start of our holiday.
