Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.

So after reading all the reviews for this hotel I was so worried about my stay here. If you are excepting the ritz then you need to re-consider. If you are looking for a low budget hotel central London close to amenities with clean bedding, warm room, and a roof over your head then this is 100% fine. If you are planning to be spending a lot of time in your hotel and hotel room then this may not be the greatest option. Yes the stairs and landing maybe very dated and need a refurb but this does not affect the use of them they are stairs after all and you only walk up and down them. My room was on the top floor and the lift may have been out of use a couple of times but that did not affect myself as I like to use the stairs as I hate lifts and the fact the it breaks down so often I most defo would not be using it. My room was small, but it was clean with a newly refurbished bathroom that was spotless. my bedding smelt so fresh and I had a tea and coffee machine with everything to go with it. Breakfast in the morning was great, lots of choice both cooked and continental with a selection of drinks and pastries.

The hotel didn’t look anything like the hotel on the photos. We had mold in our old bathroom. The hallway was in a terrible shape: water coming out from the plafond, elevator doesn’t work, no stairs to the reception... The carpet in our room had dirty stains and the bed mattress were very very thin. Although the location was great, we were very disappointed.

Bayswater Inn's best feature is it's location. It's so close to the city centre by the tube and taxi. The market stretch on Queensway was so convinient for dining and other amenities. Having two tube stations in close proximity and a posh locality to enjoy, was really nice. Nothing special about the hotel itself. The rooms are super small for the price but comfortable enough for a couple, a little tiny though for a small family. I thought early checkin rates were also exorbitant. The English Breakfast is nice. They could upgrade lift. Its too tiny

Bayswater was the extreme lowlight of a three week Europe trip. Horrible service, no ac, stains on sheets, stains on walls, holes in carpet, very spotty almost nonexistent WiFi. I would not recommend anyone to stay here. Many more options if you are looking in this area. If I could zero, I would.
