I booked this hotel very last minute due to trains being cancelled and paying less than £30 for one night I wasn't hoping for much but I was plesently surprised. The room was small but had everything you need, a coffee machine was also included which was nice. Overall it was a nice for one night, a short stay would also have been great.
It is about 5 mins walk from Bayswater station underground which is in the CBD of London. The location is really good but it is quite dark and quiet at night. With the help of GPS we have no problem finding this hotel. We arrived at around 9.30am but the check in time is 3pm. The front desk receptionist was really kind enough to help us stored our baggage and provided us with hot water upon we requested. When we came back around 5pm, we got our room cards. The room was small but very comfortable. Both room and toilet were really clean. We slept well for our 5 nights stay there without any noise or other problem. We really like this hotel and will come back when to stay we visit London again.
The hotel is located on a quiet street opposite a small park. Although the street outside the hotel is relatively quiet, the same cannot be said about the rooms; The walls to the adjacent rooms are wafer thin and let you know everything what is going on next door, and the doors to your room does not withhold any noise from the alleyway either. Doors to the rooms are fitted with self-closing devices which ensure that all doors are slamming. The furniture and fittings in the room appeared in a good condition, however, the bed had probably seen better days, as the soft springs in the mattress did not protect me from the bottom plating in the bed. The room and bathroom appeared in a satisfactory clean condition, although parts of the walls were affected by black stains. I did not try the breakfast, since this was apparently not included in the charge for the room.…
People with golden hearts ! My wife and her long life friend should travel there ,but a day before the friend got a heart attack. Bayswater Inn treaded them very well. Although they didn't get there ,they try to visit the hotel later this year. If so I sure want to travel to Bayswater Inn to meet this great People. I know London quite well and the location is adsolute top ! Great and not to expensive place to visit London. For me it counts when people really care about there visitors, not just a hotel ,but a home for a few days.
It's close to 2 underground stations, Bayswater & Queensway, which is convenient. Close enough to walk to Hyde Park, Kensington Palace & Portobello Market. Near shops too. The rooms are neat, tea & coffee facilities. Reasonably priced. Nice hotel, worth staying there.
