This hotel is located in a good location right in the heart of the city. While I’ve stayed in the executive room that looks less ‘basic’ in comparison to standard rooms, the furniture looks a bit tired. This is quite surprising, considering that this hotel is quite modern and the receptionist/bar area, as well as the corridors, look quite modern and are in a good condition. The receptionist that checked me in/out was very friendly and polite. I cannot say the same about other members of staff who did not seem to be in a great mood when I asked for something later in the evening. The breakfast was rather disappointing as it consisted of a small box filled with few bits. Since the end of the lockdown in July, I have completed 7 stays at Hilton brands and 6 stays at Marriott brands and I have received a freshly cooked breakfast at all but two occasions.

We stayed here for two nights. I had emailed the hotel twice ahead of the stay to clarify the parking situation, but no response which was disappointing. On checking in, it was clear that the hotel was very quiet. We were told that we had been upgraded to an exec room (don’t really see the excitement in this when the lounge is open) and the Gold breakfast was a takeaway affair. On entering the room, we had been given a twin room and on further inspection the TV did not work so we moved rooms. The impression of the room is basic and in reality feels more like a Hampton. The City is pretty much dead, many cafes / sandwich shops / takeaways are shut, so as the DB are not offering any form of food on an evening, delivery is probably the easiest option.

Stayed here with my 10 year old son for a short break in October . It is a lovely hotel and as it was during the pandemic we weren’t sure what to expect but the hotel was spotless and the rooms and beds so comfortable. My highest praise goes to the staff who were so kind and really couldn’t do enough for you at what has been an incredibly hard time in hotel industry there were a real credit to the Hilton chain . This hotel is literally a minutes walk from Tower Hill station so we found it really easy to get to the areas of London we were wishing to explore . I would certainly recommend a stay here . No noise either slept so well and the communal areas of the hotel were beautiful too. I’m already planning another stay here as we lived it so much .

Would I recommend this hotel? Most certainly not. If you want a basic room, save money and go to a cheaper alternative. We were unbelievably disappointed at our experience. No where does it state Savage bar is closed Monday to Wednesday on the website, which is what attracted us to this hotel. Not only that, there is no bar at all open these days. When we addressed the general manager, he acknowledged the mistakes upon the website however brushed the issue off and said we could find an alternative hotel. Accommodating? I think not? The room, well it was not clean! Dust everywhere! Being there for more than one night it would have been nice for a room clean, fresh towels and bedding. And amenities were lacking! Very disappointing.

Stayed here as car parked at station and had one to many. Booked via the app and the staff was excellent . Annoying thing was beggar with bike directly outside entrance was frustrating. Even though there is covid, room was quite and clean.
