Stayed here for two nights. Guy on reception was friendly and polite. Room was just right for what we needed, didn't have breakfast as we were eating out, there was a tea and coffee vending machine which was fine. All in all a for what I paid in central London it was perfect. Would definitely stay again.

What can I say? It is not a 5 stars hotel, but for this price... My God... It is very nice! 5 minutes walking to Victoria Station, very good for people who come from Stansted. It is in Belgrove Road which is an elegant street, full of trees and red cabins. The breakfast is deliciuous, you can have an English... More

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for one night while in London for our son's graduation. The hotel staff were friendly and courteous. The room itself was comfortable and larger then we expected with a TV, a small but adequate en suite bathroom and plenty of storage space. Wifi was free and breakfast was included in the price... Our family room on the top floor (no lift) was quite large and although it faced the street, Belgrave Road is not very busy, so was not a bad nights sleep. The down side was the ensuite which emitted an unpleasant odour and the lack of a kettle. There was a vending machine on the ground floor (reasonably priced) but... More

VERY helpful and cind staff cute rooms Privet dathroom free breakfast that is served and not buffet which is appreciated... very nice location and very close to Victoria. We are glad we picked it for our vacation. The drawback is that the rooms don't have minibars.

Hotel is convenient to Victoria Station. Not a long walk. Room was clean but the only electrical wall outlet in the room did not work making it a bit difficult to charge mobile phones etc. Staff were very friendly and helpful however. The price was right for London. There were many restaurants, pubs, and stores in easy walking distance. The... More

Hello everyone! I have stayed in London between 10-17.06, at Stanley House. The location is great - you're in the heart of London, 5 mins walk up to Victoria subway, close to St. James's Park, Buckingham Palace an so on. Having this in view, the price we had to pay was more than ok - this has been by far... More

No amenities, shower very small for very slim and slender people, very claustrophobic, no room to move.Breakfast served as soon as we ordered - not freshly cooked. 3rd floor room not good for a 66yr old. I had to rest half way up the stairs to the room.

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
