This hotel is located in the center of all the main attraction which is great, and 5min away from Victoria Station. For what you pay I consider it a great deal! The hotel on the inside looks very old fashion but almost how you expect your grandmother's place to look, outdated but cozy and warm. There's no lift so be... More

This is not a luxury or boutique b&b however it provides clean and comfortable accommodation close to the centre of London. A short walk from Victoria tube, bus and rail and easy to access restaurants and pubs in nearby Pimlico. Hot breakfast served which although basic was adequate and freshly cooked. Staff were all very pleasant and friendly. Lots of stairs... More

Stayed here for 2 nights when attending an event in London. Good value for money. Clean, basic accommodation in central London at a reasonable price. Short walk from Victoria station and several bus routes. Room was quite small but had an ensuite, tv and perfectly adequate for somewhere to sleep. There is a small lounge downstairs but we didn't use... More

We stayed for 3 nights in early September, booked early in the year through a broker, worked out to $120/night CDN. Excellent value, very convenient to Victoria Station, lots of shopping/restaurants in immediate vicinity. Clean room and private bathroom are very small, but not an issue as we only slept there. Front desk and breakfast room staff very friendly and... More

So if you think you're going to get a Hyatt-quality room in London for $200/night, you're dreaming. But if you want clean acceptable accomodations right in the heart of Victoria, you can't do better than the Stanley House Hotel on Belgrave Rd. Two blocks from Victoria Station, walking distance to Buckingham and Westminster, the Stanley House is one of many... More

We enjoyed our stay in the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and well maintained; the only problem was a narrow and steep staicase as the only access to the room. However, it is a great locality an we would recommend the hotel to anybody who is looking for the accommodation within the city... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
