It's fine for a cheap overnight stay. Small rooms with bobbly sheets and non existent pillows. Breakfast was nice but difficult to understand the staff serving you. It is what you expect for so cheap so don't expect much!

Well, this hotel is little bit for low cost travellers or students. Rooms are small and not much to offer. On the other hand this hotel is located in the city center so you can easily reach all the main attractions.

It's a great hotel in the centre of the city very close to all the important things to visit! Quite even if it is situated on a street with a lot of traffic, the room was clean and with all the facilities!

Reason for choosing this hotel is its great location. 5 minutes walk from Victoria Station and so convenient to take Gatwick Express. Our room is a triple room which is on the 3rd Floor. We had bad experience in taking our big and heavy luggage upstairs as the stairs are so steep and narrow that you should climb up every... More

The bathroom was the smallest bathroom I've ever seen . The shower was dirty , outdated and took 10 minutes to actually start producing hot water . The toilet was facing the shower and hard to sit on as there was no room between the two. Nice desk staff but do yourself a favor and pay a bit more and... More

Stanley House is a really old hotel that needs refurbishment. Not fancy bedroom, but the cleanliness was was at good level. The bathroom was very small with not convinient shower. The breakfast was given by a waitress. The portion was accurate. We could choose English breakfast, egg & bacon or toast bread with marmolade. Coffee, tea and orange juice were... More

Stayed here for two nights. Guy on reception was friendly and polite. Room was just right for what we needed, didn't have breakfast as we were eating out, there was a tea and coffee vending machine which was fine. All in all a for what I paid in central London it was perfect. Would definitely stay again.

What can I say? It is not a 5 stars hotel, but for this price... My God... It is very nice! 5 minutes walking to Victoria Station, very good for people who come from Stansted. It is in Belgrove Road which is an elegant street, full of trees and red cabins. The breakfast is deliciuous, you can have an English... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
