It was my daughter's birthday today and we popped in for a drink after having a meal elsewhere. We are a family 4 with a 5 year old son as well. The staff were super attentive, warm and friendly. We were made to feel very welcome and had a wonderful time. One of the waitresses gave our son a colouring book at the end. Such a lovely thought. Thanks, all and keep up the good work!
Booked last minute on Friday 9th October to stay for 2 nights, arriving that evening. The hotel itself was more than reasonably priced and was beautiful. The cleanliness, especially the COVID-19 controls and precautions in the main areas and the room were tremendous. Most importantly, the staff were incredible. The lady on arrival was so welcoming and friendly and the tone she set was carried through by all the other staff for the remainder of our stay. We were due to checkout Sunday (11th October), and we received complimentary late checkout until 6pm. Personally I am not one to write reviews, however on this occasion, the overall service from start to finish was truly fabulous! Thank you!
Very helpful staff making our trip for Guy's hospital appointment smooth and easy. They made the booking process and our decision to select this hotel over others easy. The food in Marcos was good and our arrival and departure straight forward. They understood that hospital appt may take long and gave us free late checkout.
I spent 2 wonderful days in MERCURE LONDON BRIDGE with my partner and my lovely dog. We were welcomed by Davide who was very smiling and kind with us but mostly with our little dog, he gave to us all the information about the hotel, the breakfast and the city. The breakfast has been delivered in our room in time by Jessica, the qualiti of the food and servica is Excellent. The hotel is very close to Tower Bridge the most beautiful part of London, only 15 mins walking. We couldn’t have better time, I can’t wait to come back and to enjoy it once again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
Lets start with the best things about this hotel: Jessica and Davide. They both made us feel more than welcome and added a personal touch to our 4 nights in London. I was a bit apprehensive about staying in a mercure again as I have recently not been treated as a Platinum member should be during several stays in Mercures in Germany. This hotel however had our room key ready, along with the drinks vouchers, a map of the city and a lovely welcome card with a little chocolate gift. They had upgraded us as well. The hotel is located in Southbank with so many great bars and restaurants you won't know which one to choose! Public transport is nearby and you can easily walk to many sights as well. The hotel has done its utmost to add special touches to the standard mercure interior and they have succeeded in creating a cool bar, restaurant and lobby area. We had a spot of lunch in the hotel - good food! - and found they had a large selection of good wines. Breakfast is also good, a standard selection of fresh food and a choice of about 5 hot dishes to be ordered with the staff. The coffee is good and the breakfast staff are very efficient. The rooms are slightly outdated with small beds, but comfortable nonetheless. Bathrooms are a little odd in their set up but clean and with a good shower. I can't really fault this hotel and will for sure return in the future. Thanks for a great stay!…
