Neighborhood
Southwark
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighborhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.

I stayed for three nights. It’s kind of a cool hipster place. Very friendly staff. The room was nice with a big shower. The wardrobe was tiny and if we were two people our cloths would certainly not fit in. Also no place to hang your coat. Breakfast was nice enough. Two things I

Dear guest, Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your experience following your stay with us. Your status of Le club member entitles you of free drink on arrival, early check in or late check out upon availability. You had all those benefits during your stay. Regarding the upgrade as soon you mentioned to our Front Office Manager that the room was too small we upgraded you to a Privilege family room one of the biggest room type in our hotel that included free mini bar, bathrobe, slippers, Nespresso machine and extra amenities. Concerning the linen change it was done on a daily basis as per your discussion with our Front Office team. I am glad to read that you have enjoyed our breakfast and find our staff fabulous. We hope that we will have the pleasure to welcome you again. Sincerely Bernard Panisse General Manager

The room is small but clean and well maintained. The bed was comfy and I had a good sleep. We enjoyed our welcome drinks in the lounge located in the lobby. Breakfast area was nice and there plenty of food and drink options. The hotel is about 6 minute walk from the tube

In General, it was a good stay, the location is convenient and the hotel creates friendly environment. But I was frustrated once I asked at the breakfast to bring me still water. Although its prepaid full breakfast I was asked 3.5 Pounds for a bottle. I said I need the water to

Does the hotel offer an airport shuttle?
Central London Hotels don't generally provide shuttles as the city is so large and guests arrive from many different methods. Road travel across the city isn't easy. Most local people use the underground (subway). If you want a Taxi from the airport its best to book in advance through the hotel. Hope you enjoy your stay. Regards Mike

Where is the best place to park for this hotel
I travelled by train, so unsure about parking. Tate modern is nearby so Google car parks in the area.
