Where to start, Honestly its that bad. Bathroom is a plastic pod from the 60s. Everything creaks and moves. Shower is not only pitiful pressure but tiny. I'm only small build 5' 7" and I cant fit in it. Feel as though I'd be dirtier coming out than when I went in. Nothing supplied other than towels and half a toilet roll. Bathroom door handle hanging off, I can literally fit 3 fingers in the gap. Mould/slime hanging from bathroom door. Sealant is yellow and black and peeling. Toilet seat must be from the pound shop and is extremely loose and flexible. Room itself is woodchip wallpaper painted a dreary mushroom soup grey. The carpet is filthy, worn and has chunks missing/chewed at the edges. There is signs of damp. There are no cups or anything provided. The room setup is just 2 singles and a bunk bed squeezed in anywhere they could fit. There is a tiny TV mounted on a random wall about 7 ft in the air that can not be viewed unless standing. The cables are left trailing down to one of the beds. It is absolutely awful and I could go on forever with all negatives. Only positive I can find is bedsheets are clean. Present tense used because unfortunately my daughter booked us in here for 2 nights and we have another night to go! Feel really bad for her as she planned a whole Family trip and we've ended up staying in this cesspit. Writing this after being up all night because I couldnt sleep on the straw stuffed mattress. Had to use a towel to prop up the pillow as it felt more like a folded newspaper. Honestly the worst room I've ever stayed in. Thinking about trying to buy the pop up tent off the bloke at the tube station! Not eaten breakfast yet but just read the other reviews so not expecting much. Really wish my daughter had read the reviews before booking.

This hotel really needs an improvement. The room was small and way too hot, even with the heating off and window open. There were no cups/glasses in the room and when I asked for one at reception i got a tiny pathetic plastic cup that you wouldn’t even use for a picnic. There was no shower gel in the bathroom and the hairdryer provided needed throwing out. Breakfast was okay but in a really depressing basement room.

Clean room and friendly staff. My 2 slight issues are as follows: 1- no tea/coffee in room 2- why put family rooms on top floor with pushchairs, stayed in room 122 Nice location and great price but just minor issues that need attending. So many stairs for children

For the price I paid for a room I was very disheartened by the lack of cleanliness. There were hairs in our bed, stains, broken head board and broken shower and no form of proper heating due to having very old radiators. Not to mention we had been put in the attic room and it doesn’t state online that they have no lifts, this made it difficult for myself and my friend due to us both having hidden disabilities. They kindly moved us to a new room straight away after we complained. We had breakfast included which was a shambles as they only gave us one order form between 2 of us and got our breakfast order wrong resulting in us sending it back to get the right ones brought out. It was stated that it was a continental breakfast and all that they had on offer was a croissant, toast or yoghurt or fruit. They could offer a lot more to provide a better breakfast experience. Overall the location is fab, the staff were friendly and accommodating but the cleanliness and lack of certain facilities really let the overall experience down. If I had known about this prior, I would not have willingly paid the amount of money I did for our room.

Family room 8 was fine We had a double, single and bunk beds. The room, bedding and bathroom facilities were clean and tidy. We had a towel each with a charge of £1 per towel if fresh ones were needed and I throughly this was a good idea to encourage people to re-use. There was some small soap Bars in the bathroom but no toiletries We had a small but ok tv on tile wall, no issues with the remote that I have seen on here it was in the room and worked fine, no extra payment required. Breakfast was included and was continental. You are able to order 4 items which I felt was ample to set is us for the day but the choice was extremely limited, for instance the only cereal choice was cornflakes and the toast toppings jam or cheese. There were croissants, apple/banana and yoghurts to choose too, plus tea/coffee or hot chocolate was one of your choices. It was serves up fast and fresh in the breakfast room and staff were pleasant. There did not appear to be the option to pay extra for a wider choice like a cooked breakfast but we didn’t go hungry. there was a fan in the room ethics was a godsend as it was quite noisy with the window open on one of the nights but generally a quiet area. 10 mins walk from Notting Hill Gate tube station, passing a couple of lovely pubs on the way and the loveliest Gelato shop on the high street. Was in a nice area Few things that could be better As stated above n here there was no kettle or even a glass/cup for water. It would be nice if you could ‘upgrade’ to have tea/coffee making facilities or if there was a facility to get these such as ordering via reception or even a machine in reception! . I appreciate the hotel is aimed as the multi cultural tourists but I just like a cuppa out two before I get going in the morning and to be this is a standard and fundamental part of a hotel room. You only got one cup with breakfast too…. Bed were hard and felt the springs, found it difficult to get comfy No wifi - we knew this but we all have paid data with our phone contracts but couldn’t access this or get a signal in any part of the hotel, especially the bedroom and breakfast room and you have to pay for guest wifi. So it wasn’t bad and we didn’t have the problems I have read about on here but we was in the main building on the ground floor. Would stay again if in the area and could got a kettle in my bag……
