I stayed here for the weekend and it was very nice. The desk clerk especially was very personable and helpful. Right near the bus 23 stop, so you can see the sights as you go into the centre, or walk to Hyde park etc. Lots of great Indian and other Asian food in the neighbourhood. You can have breakfast really...

As a solo traveler who booked a single room, I had limited room choice - either the top floor, up 5 flights of narrow stairs or a room in the basement, a small cave like place. I opted for the "cave', which was generally okay except for the frequent sound of the Paddington station tube trains. Breakfast was okay, and...

We stayed at the Belvedere 1st march 11 for 2 nights, When we arrived we felt a little apprehensive due to the 2 rather scruffy men on reception! and it being full of furniture i.e mattresses, settees and chairs!( we later realised that they are having a lot of work done on the rooms and new furniture) We found are...

We stayed in the family room (something no hotels have here in Canada but a brilliant idea!). The room had 2 double beds and a single--perfect for the 5 of us. The room was cleaned ok. There was some gunge that needed scrubbing between the sink and wall, the bedsheets were still rumpled despite duvets pulled up and bed supposedly...

Booked a family room for a week in early January based on the hotel's location, price and reviews. Being just around the corner from Paddington tube/Heathrow express, with lots of options around for food and 5 minutes walk from Hyde Park, The Belvedere is in a great location to explore London. Depending on how energetic you are we walked all...

Wanted an inexpensive hotel in London for 2 nights on our way to Africa. Picked this because it was convenient to Heathrow Express (about a 5 minute walk). Location was very good. In addition to easy tube access, it is only 1 block from the Big Bus tour drop-off (although the desk staff didn't know that when we asked). Room...

A little hotel, very cheap (so you can't expect to much!) with a wonderful staff, as well on the reception as in the breakfastroom. The people working there are really what makes this hotel worth visiting. On top of that it's located two steps from 'Paddington' station, couldn't be better! You get standard an English breakfast which is exceptional in...

I found this hotel on tripadvisor and booked it because of good reviews and I was not disappointed! I stayed for 3 nights. Yes, the rooms are small, very small (!), but it is really all you need. I stayed in a single room and could barely move, but it had everything I needed, very close to Paddington station with...
