Stayed here for two nights with the girlfriend while exploring London. Room 402 for reference. Plus points: - good location, few minutes walk from Paddington - helpful friendly staff - decent breakfast - *very* clean rooms Negatives: - poor water pressure for shower - would have had better pressure sticking my head out of the window - room was quite...

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights on the 8 March, the exterior was good, however the room was shocking. We were given room 301 and at best it was no bigger than 10x8 at a push,it was so small if you got out of bed you had to walk sideways as there was not enough room to walk straight.The...

Great location, close to Paddington station (with express train to Heathrow) and Hyde Park. It's a old building, so creaky floorboards and entertainingly mysterious plumbing are part of the charm, but a very comfortable bed, great breakfast and friendly staff made this a lovely stay. I managed to walk to all the museums and tourist attractions I wanted to see...

Lovely hotel ...only stayed one night on the 9th Feb 2016 but very comfortable. Only problem was the squeeky floor boards in room 107 and no plug in the bathroom sink. Lovely breakfast and staff were outstanding.Would recommend this hotel and would stay again here if ever I came to London. cleanliness was brilliant . My daughter made the booking...

I stayed twice at the Brunel Hotel during a recent three-week trip to the UK. The hotel is so centrally located - 5 minutes from Paddington Station, and 5 minutes walk from Hyde Park. During my first visit, I was put in a basement room, having booked a single room. Yes, it was rather small, but I had two single...

We stayed in room which had 2 double beds and single bed recently refurbished so modern and clean, had everything we needed, breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice, staff friendly and helpful. Let's get this straight right from the start: the Brunel is a small hotel with small rooms. It also happens to be a very cheap hotel, and in my book that means it's great value for money. We (family of 5) used it as our base in London for 12 nights, and found it to be very adequate for our...

I did not know what to expect when staying here. The room seemed good online. I was not horribly disappointed. The room was modern, but a bit cramped (a bit is an understatement) for three people. The beds were very hard and there was a bit of waking up at random points of night. Also if you left your window...

The hotel rooms are very dated. Stains on the bedsheets and we were put in a basement room which was tiny!!!! Could hear everything going on from reception including the receptionist scrapping the chair on the floor. Walls extremely thin. Not good if you want a lie in as opposite our room was the breakfast area. Not unless tables to...
