Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.

After leaving Paris and traveling to London I had a room booked at this hotel for 3 nights. I must say I was pleasantly surprised at the high level of customer service by those working at the hotel. I found our room brightly lit with lots of natural light, quiet for sleeping and very clean with good sized bathroom with great lighting. This was very different from my stay in Paris where I got no sleep and was in a cramped and dark room with poor lighting and people arguing outside at all hours of the night. I felt at home at the Reem. The area of the hotel is a short walk to the Bayswater train station along with lots of places to eat so you don’t have to walk far. Luis was the gentleman who checked us in and he was very professional, courteous, and highly helpful. Based upon my stay here I would return again if I venture back to the area for vacation.

Short walk from Bayswater Tube Station. Stairs & lift. Reception, like hotel, basic.Room small, showing it's age, as was the bathroom. Breakfast area downstairs, basic continental. Bag storage down stairs near breakfast area. Convenient to pubs, restaurants, transport, sights. Pay London prices for a basic hotel.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. I am glad that you found the location convenient as we are very close to the tube station and restaurants. In regards to the age of the hotel we are a Victorian period build in the heart of the city. I hope you will give us another opportunity to welcome you back at the Reem in the near future. Kind Regards, Suchi Agarwal General Manager Reem Hotel

My mum and I stayed here on the occasion of our visit to a Buckingham Palace Garden Party. Mum is 93 years old, so it was a considerable ordeal for her to travel to London and visit the Garden Party and then travel home. At her age simple things like having a shower are problematical. The hotel staff were brilliant. They provided a suitable room. They helped her up and down stairs and steps. They even went out and bought a folding chair so that she could sit down in the shower. They certainly earned their 5 stars from us.

We spent 3 days with 2 friends in this hotel. The staff was kind to us, but i cant say that i would come back in this hotel or recommand it. We booked a room for 3 and one of my friend was pregnant. The 1st room we had was for a couple with a child, as we had a small bed next the big one. We complained, and they gave us a new room, the next Morning. My pregnant friend was able to sleep but for me and my friend, we slept in a small bed for 2 ! We didnt came in London to sleep but we paid 100€ for 2 nights and i think it didnt Worth it. Otherwise, the hotel is well located, not far from the tube.
