Recently had a 3 night stay here with my wife and kids, was very unsure what to expect after some reviews but as usual it turned out nothing like some of the bad ones I read. You must understand this is not a 5 star hotel it's a budget hotel in a great location for an amazing price. We only wanted a base to sleep shower etc and this was perfect, room size was fine beds were fine shower was brilliant! Granted it wasnt the Savoy but it was perfect for what we needed all staff were extremely pleasant. Location is perfect right ny Kensington gardens and 2 tube stations are a few minutes walk aswell as bus stops.

I book a room about 2 month before. I confirmed in person a week before. The day before i got an email saying that they had moved me to another "hotel which is a 4 star". this was just down the road. Believing this we went ahead. Well the 4 star is nothing more then a youth hostel for students. Noise. The room had no Wifi , the bed was up against the wall so it was really meant for one. I had to climb over my husband to get in and out. No curtains so the neighbor look straight onto the bed. If we wanted privacy to get dress we had to close a blind and sit in the dark with no light and the shower was a trickle. I believe this is the sister hotel and they use the Queens Park to fill it. Be warned.

A friend and I stayed at this hotel for eight nights for a sightseeing trip. He was given a very tiny room on an upper floor that barely had room for him and his luggage. I was given room G-101, which is essentially in the basement. It’s the only room in a dark, isolated corridor and I never felt safe. I wedged the desk chair under the doorknob at night. Oddly my room was huge with three twin beds! It was definitely worn, but clean. The only window is high in the wall looking at the ground of an alley. The curtain didn’t begin to cover it so I was very exposed until I piled extra pillows in front of it. The bathroom is tiny but adequate. After reading other reviews, I feel fortunate that I never saw any bugs and that no one entered my room. The beds were narrow but long days of sightseeing meant I slept hard. The cooler barely works so the room was often uncomfortably warm and humid. The WiFi is intermittent and difficult to connect to, especially in a basement room. The hotel is well located and we loved being so close to lots of restaurants and the Bayswater and Queensway Underground stations. The complimentary breakfast buffet never changes and left a lot to be desired, so after a few days, we began having breakfast at a Pret a Manger next to the Queensway station. The staff courtesy varied greatly from shift to shift.

First time visiting London. This with my mom and son. No idea what we were getting into with this hotel. After an 8 hour flight we arrived to the hotel at 1130am London time to bags strung out on the floor overflowing from the storage room. We inquired about early check in. Were told no rooms available. However, we were accommodated by 1230am. Staff was very friendly. Location was near the Bayswater Tube station. Closest grocery store is a petrol station up the street. Lift is very small so if you are any bit claustrophobic, suggest taking the stairs. Lift can only accommodate 1 person and a thier luggage. As this is London, there is no ice machine as you find in the states. In the lobby, there is a small ice maker tho. Would I stay here again. Probably not. But it's not horrible and served its purpose for our 2 nights in London.

Thank you for your feedback. With regards to your comment for early check in we try our best to check in as early as possible and is always subject to the availability. We allocated the room as it was available. With regards to the lift we do have 3 elevators in the hotel with different capacity to serve. With regards to ice machine I am afraid we do not advertise ice machine in the room and but we do have one in the reception for the guests. Once again I am really sorry to hear that you did not enjoyed your stay with us.

A good place to stay for visiting London as it is cheap, and near a tube station and has everything you need. There is no restaurant but eating places are close by. breakfast is average but adequate. It is very clean.

Room Tip: rooms are small but perfectly formed. I think a twin room might have a bit more space.
