This hotel is quite possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. However it is in a good location. To begin, from the foyer area to restaurant and rooms, the decor is very outdated, with paint flaking from walls, holes in walls, defective lighting, Windows that are stuck open or closed and what would seem very quickly botched together... Booked through booking.com for weekend break to London. Described as of a good standard with all mod cons, flat screen TV, iron, hairdryer and including breakfast. Despite the grand exterior shown in the photographs, we were disappointed to see the reception area did not match this and we were not impressed with the tiny room either as it felt like... More

It's ok for the price, but would choose different Hotel next time. Close to metro, shops and Hyde Park. Clean rooms. No WiFi in the room (Lobby only). Not very comfortable beds. No A/C or fans in the room, so it was too hot to sleep. Average breakfast.

The staff was simply OK. The hotel is located close to two underground stations in Westminster. It is very close to the center of London. The premises -> adequately clean. Where do I begin? The breakfast was awful. There was filtered coffee that you should warm in the microwave by yourself. So, prepare to stand in line to drink coffee…... More

First of all I cant' believe the place is listed as a three star hotel!!! The room that has been given to us was distributed over two levels with no possibility to stand up on the second level and very scars area below. The window didn't lock so whoever wanted could access the room very easily from outside. Very old... More

I don't do reviews or moan on for nothing but I feel the need to review this place. Paid 175 quid for a family room for my wife, myself and my three grandchildren. Arrived to be told that we were in a room for 2 and a room for 3. Broken windows, rags for net curtains and WiFi not strong... More

I got a three bed room for 33 GBP with breakfast included. I reached at night around 2 am and left in the morning. If you want to save money and need a bed to sleep, I would then say this could be the best option near central london with close proximity to Bayswater Underground Station.

Not an easy place to find if you're following GPS. It's closer to Leinster Square for reference. I had to phone for directions from Princess Square. Check in was ok. Door card didn't work. Another 10 mins to get it fixed. Door was so warped it needed a shove to open. Room was ok. Burn hole on dated duvet. Portable... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
