This was my third stay in this hotel, the last two occasions I would rate as average as you get what you pay for, but unfortunately this time standards had dropped. The breakfast was not good and there was not the choice that was available in previous years. Our bedroom had a large gap between the bottom of the door... More

Had to stay in London and was suggested this Hotel by a business acquaintance. Easy of access, parking spaces, quite, clean and warm rooms although space is limited, breakfast included. a 3 star which is worth 4. Nearest station Bayswater.

It was a B&B, not a hotel. Room was very very small. The covers of the bed are a really old. The rooms need renovation. Bathroom was very small too. Breakfast was in a small dinning room in the basement and the choices were small. The staff was quite friendly and helpful. Near Bayswater tube station, shops and pubs.

My father booked our trip to London a few weeks ago and as soon as I found out where we were going to be staying I jumped on Tripadvisor to read the reviews. I was horrified and absolutely scared for our time in London, I did not even want to share the reviews with my family. I was expecting bed... More

We travelled to London for a half term break, the Pembridge was one of a few hotels that could accommodate my family, two adults, three kids. We were all in one room, there was a bed each, we used it to crash after a busy day. Breakfast was poor really, although there was cereal, toast or bread, and tea or... More

Its quite simple. If you just want a bed to sleep in and a bathroom this is the hotel for you! Very cheap to be a hotel in London and close to Paddington station. It was clean, heat wasn't working, TV worked the two first days. Crowded at breakfast. As I said you get what you pay for with this... More

Dreadful stay visited with my daughter for October week. Beds were dipped in the middle from overuse, mine had a spring sticking into my back, rooms were awful. You can hear the people in the room next door talking. Rooms very dated indeed. One experience of breakfast was enough it was served on long tables you had to share which... More

Location is great (a few minutes walk from Hyde Park and many buses, Queens way and Bayswater and Queensway tube stations). We chose this hotel because we had stayed there 2 years ago and it moffered an included hot breakfast. Unfortunately, our bstay was not as enjoyable this time because of the loud noises from the surrounding streets if window... More

Price and location of hotel is good i.e. near two metro lines. Lots of bars and shops in close proximity. Room old and worn out e.g. carpet worn and dusty, average bed with blankets that seemed like that hadn't been washed in a month or two - got a couple of bites from insects in the room. Room cold as... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
