We had a wonderful stay at Roseate. The staff were very welcoming and we were delighted to be upgraded to a suite with a 4 poster bed. What luxury! The rooms were spotless and the added extra was the espresso machine. Although close to a busy road there was little traffic noise. Breakfast choice was sublime and catered for all tastes although the wait for breakfast was quite lengthy. It was an easy walk to Paddington Station. I would recommend Roseate House.
The hotel was stunning and the rooms were absolutely beautiful and the food was amazing. We were left very disappointed though due to the air conditioning not working and the rooms were like ovens because windows only open few inches. We reported this as did many other guests but the air conditioning company did not attend for 2 days. We went the whole weekend with a unbearable hot room and we were not even offered a fan. I would expect a 4 star hotel to have some sort of contingency plan for such occasions. We had a wonderful meal in the restaurant on our first night. When we got the bill we noticed a service charge which was over £20 and we politely requested for this to be removed. We explained that we only give tips at the end of our stays. This was removed and all appeared fine until the following evening. We had been out on the flying Scotsman all day and did not arrive back to the hotel until around 21.30hrs. We were shattered and went straight up to our room. We were followed and almost chased up the stairs by a male member of the bar and restaurant team who had served us the night before. He asked us where their tip was from the previous night. I seriously can’t explain how this made us feel apart from very embarrassed and slightly intimidated. He had no mask on and was well within 2 metres from us. He and the female barmaid were then overheard laughing about our response as we tried to explain to him that we were planning on tipping on our last day. It’s just such a shame that this happened because it truly ruined a wonderful weekend. Apart from these very rude and disrespectful individuals the hotel was wonderful and the surrounding area is just fantastic.…
We stayed for one night with our little dog. All the staff we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and the rooms had everything we needed. The bed was really comfortable. We had room service breakfast delivered at no extra charge, which was brilliant with an extensive choice. Excellent location, short distance to Hyde Park and the tube station. We drove into London and the hotel has parking directly outside which you can pre book for a charge. We will be coming to stay again!
Fantastic hotel, absolutely can't fault it. Complete luxury. Wonderful room with balcony. Staff increadably friendly and helpful, they even sent us an email after our stay thanking us and wishing us well. We really felt like nothing would be a problem. We didn't eat there in the evening because we were out exploring, however the breakfast was lovely, great options. Very comfortable bed, lovely bathroom and really nice toiletries. Will be visiting again, great base for visiting central London, tube station 10 mins away, or excellent hotel for a chilled relaxing break, will try the treatments next time!!
My boyfriend and I had a brilliant stay at Roseate House in Paddington, London. We were greeted by the lovely Ylenia and Bianca at the front desk and they were great and always checking to make sure everything was ok with our stay. We both had an extremely relaxing massage and a comfortable night sleep in a huge bed! The only thing that would have improved our stay was if the room was slightly cooler because even after turning on the fan and turning down the heating, it was still very hot and stuffy. I will definitely be returning for another stay soon. Thank you.
